Absolutely massive place with pretty much anything you could ever imagine. The gun historic museum was informative and entertaining. The shop itself was easy to find with clear labeling. The staff were welcoming, and the fudge was very good.We did not go into the aquarium or the museums, but what was available was very entertaining for the couple hours we were in there !

I loved this experience. there is so much to do and so much variety. Spanning from regular old shopping to an amazing aquarium. Talking about the aquarium each room is like a new adventure, there is a path you follow with each room having something new. Of course you have the normal expected fish but when I say flamingos and even bears, I was in shock. This is an experience I will never forget.

Awesome place! I always enjoy wandering Bass Pro shops, and this one takes the cake by far (even more than you would expect from the grandaddy of Bass Pro's!) I took my parents here around Christmastime, and the lights were phenomenal! They did a wonderful job decorating!I even enjoy regularly studying in the fireplace area near the door. And I would definitely recommend Black Rifle Coffee Company!

This place is huge! There are so many things to shop for and look at here. We did the gun museum inside but didn't have time to do the aquarium or wonders of wildlife museum. I have done them previously and they are amazing!!!!

Best place to visit in Springfield for free. There is few museums inside and very unusual design. This time we find a new places to see. You can plan to spend 2-3 hours just in the shop and also few more hours in aquarium and nature center.

This place is amazing. So much to look at even if you don't go to the aquarium. You could make a full day out of just stopping here.

I would diffently recommend going here. It's beautiful during Christmas time so I would diffently go during Christmas time. During Christmas they put Christmas lights all over and when I first walked in for the first time it was like I was in winter wonder land. The aquarium on the other hand was really cool and nice and it also had museums in it, but it took us about 5 to 6 hours to get through the whole thing. If your looking for something to do for a long time I would recommend this, but if your wanting to go through a little aquarium/museum I would probably not recommend it. But there are little museums that only take about 5 to 10 miniutes. The food was there was really good to. But I will definitely be coming back here.

The national headquarters of Bass Pro Shops/Cabela's. It has a full store as well as several free special exhibits.-NRA National Sporting Arms MuseumA collection of historic guns of various types and sizes.-Archery Hall of FameA collection of archery artifacts and plaques about famous archers.-Fly Fishing MuseumA room with information about the history of fly fishing and various famous fishermen.-Bass Pro Shops MuseumA walk through the history of Bass Pro.-NASCAR MuseumAn exhibition of Bass Pro-sponsored race cars. There are also many mounts and fish tanks scattered throughout the store. The Wonders of Wildlife National Museum and Aquarium is connected to the store but requires a paid ticket. Overall, a fun place to spend some time (and hopefully not too much money😉).

Disneyland for outdoorsmen! This place 1) has a great selection of all outdoor equipment from hiking and camping to hunting and fishing, 2) is designed with the fullest inspiration of the outdoors. From the “underwater” views from at the register, to the elaborate animal mounts, to the live animal displays around the store. There are also several unique and engaging museums around the store. Some example include the archery museum, the fly fishing museum, the NRA museum, and the racing museum (full of vehicles sponsored by Bass Pro Shops), and champions in fishing sports. There is also a restaurant on site and a full aquarium for additional cost (Aquarium tickets available online at better rates).Last, we bought bows here and they offer servicing for free there on all archery equipment purchased online or in-store, and they are serviced by knowledgeable and skilled staff. We are here all the time! Absolutely worth the 2-hr drive for us!

Redneck heaven !! My favorite place for hunting/fishing gear! My family went to the restaurant up stairs to take a break when we were shopping. Wonderful staff and super friendly. Amazing food. The NHRA gun museum is in here. Very unique, one of a kind firearms to drool on.There is also a full blown fish aquarium inside as well. Kids absolutely loved it. You couldn't fully appreciate this unique in the five hours we spent there.

Ive been going here since it opened many, many decades ago and theyve been constantly upgrading attractions. Its a good place to take your kids and you can enjoy multiple Aquariums for free. The larger Wildlife Museum costs close to $40 for a 1 day pass so I stick to the Bass Pro free store exhibits. Live Trout, Turtles, Alligator, Bass, and tons of others to see along with a great Restaurant on 4th floor. Hemmingways is a bit overpriced but its also very good. Way better than the shoddy McDonald's they had upstairs years ago. Its now a bow hunting museum and fits the store better. Park off of Cherokee street on the south side of the building to save time and hassle and use the side entrance as in the pictures. Never had an issue finding parking on that lot ever. Overall a good place to shop and see fun stuff with the family.

If you have the chance to visit the aquarium and museum here, it is worth the time and money!!!If you go passed 2pm you’ll get a discount and free drinks. Ps you CAN bring your drinks with you in the aquarium!!! So don’t throw them away.At the end the kids can color pictures and add them to the wall by a scanning their coloring. It will stay up for about 10 mins. They can also pet the sting rays.

The Granddaddy of Bass Pro Shops! It’s the original. Super huge! Shopping, Dining, Museums, Aquarium with a hotel and all in one. I regret not staying at the hotel. This place is quite large, so if you want to explore and see even just the store and the free aquariums you will need some time to do so. A couple times a day they feed the fish in one that has an underwater observation room. Very cool. You probably could spend the day here easily.

Always love the place. I must say, though, that just because people look a certain way doesn't mean you automatically work as a custodian there. It happened to me when I went up to the register to pay, and the cashier told me if I worked as a custodian there because I looked familiar. It did make me feel some kind of way. Other than that, I always go in there and take all my family and friends that visit us there to enjoy the store, aquarium, and museum.

Shopped here for the first time 2 days ago and was amazed. It's so modern on the inside and outside. I came here for work boots, and they had a pretty good selection. I even got a military discount with my veteran ID.

Enjoyed first time visit to the original bass pro shop where it all started. So many museums with origins of the brand, Nascar sponsors, the sporting arms museum, so much to see! Oh, grab a coffee and wander around.

This is a huge Bass Pro amazing location! Restaurant with bar, aquarium, NRA museum, motorsports museum, and so much more!!! The clothing brands and shoes and boots are incredible tons to choose from. I would definitely recommend visiting this location if you're visiting Missouri and are close by. I also enjoyed the Black Riffle Coffee shop inside here!🎣🐟💚 🙌🏽😎☕️

One word to describe this store: INSANE. If you are a hunting/fishing/gun/archery/outdoor rec enthusiast, this is your DISNEYLAND. You can spend at least a couple hours here just exploring all the displays and museums inside. The pricey aquarium attached is worth the money (barely at $52.50) being one of the best aquariums in the country. The restaurant in the store has good food at reasonable prices and the bar has a crazy view of a giant fish tank. Unbelievable.

Massive store. If you plan on going plan for a longer trip just to be able to see everything in the store and all the awesome displays. The wilderness museum is awesome and will definitely take a lot of your time.

It was remarkable! It was worth every penny. There is so much to see. They had end of fall and winter sales. My sister was with us . It was a little dark. The floor rugs were old and ruffled. My sister got her walker caught up in it and caused her to fall. I feel the staff should have alerted management right away. All in all, it was a great time! Especially the Aquarium.

Been coming to this bass pro for years ever since I've been stationed at FLW and it an awesome store, but buyer beware. Last time I went earlier in December I was approached about a hotel/ vacation gateway package at the Bass Pro resort in Branson near the front entrance. Don't be fooled, your paying $199+ to attend a timeshare sales pitch. I'm surprised bass pro would partner with such a scummy business model.
