First time I've ever been to this store. The deli section has a great selection. The keto items we shop for tended to be placed along side their normal nonspecialty counterparts. The people were friendly and I enjoyed the atmosphere. Will be going back.

Come here often because my grandparents live in town. Everytime I visit I get started at and followed by security. This last visit was the last straw. Went to self check out the security guy was watching down my back. And followed me and my sister till we were out of the store. We are Hispanic females and have observed that no one else around us are treated this way. We come here to have a nice shopping experience but that was ruined by racial prejudice in 2023. I was going to speak out but being the only brown people in the store we felt there was no chance anyone would be with us on our team. So we left embarrassed and will be never coming back.

Fresh and clean. Wonderful Floral Department. Custom made arrangements. Made Candy Bar arrangement with two days notice. A Corsage for Prom with one day notice. They also deliver in Smithville.

Meat department/butcher employees are very nice.Floral employee was very helpful & nice.Very clean.Not enough handicap parking.......9.8.23 6pmYoung lady at the door with the chicken wings was AWESOME!Couldn't help but smile!I think her name was Natalie... According to the manager, she only works one day a week! She is an asset to PC!

Bought fresh chicken that was supposed to be good for another week before freezing. Opened thepackage the next day and was overwhelmed with a rotting smell. I've also bought hamburger meat in the past that they cover up browned meat with fresh meat on top of it. So the outer layer looks fresh, but the entire inside/center is browned. I'm done buying meat from this place

Great place to get some groceries! Newer Bigger Store!Piles of fresh Poduce. Bakery, Butcher & HoT/Cold deli with dining area. Even some sushi so you don't shop Hungry 🤭Plenty of rozen stuff.Decent craft beer section, they even have Hazy Little Thing in 12 Packs 👍😎

Clean store, good meat; but, everything is VERY expensive! Even the pharmacy is expensive. They don’t offer any discounts on rxs or accept GoodRX or any other discount cards. I’ll be switching all of my rxs to Hy-vee.

I would love to love this store. But the cashier are very nosy and judgmental. It makes for an unpleasant shopping experience being questioned for buying sardines.

They have nice courteous staff members. I am new in town and where I moved from we did not have a Price Chopper so they explain to me how my Price Chopper Chopper card works. It's nice when people take their time and a busy day at work like that to explain something to someone new in town. And how I can save on gas with that Chopper card.

Everytime I come here it’s always a fast experience and I love all the staff. Shelves are usually stocked and the produce is always fresh. Not many cases I’ve noticed expired items. Overall a worthy store for Smithville

Low inventory constantly. Friendly staff. Be sure to check anything coming from the refrigerator. I'm constantly finding moldy items. Customer service is great. The pharmacy is amazing. I have issues getting all my points, too.

Staff is great. The butchers are especially helpful. The bathrooms are always clean. The prices are a little higher then if you go into the city but that is reasonable when you consider the cost of convience. Most importantly: products that I've asked management about have miraculously appeared in the store, for purchase, at later dates. This indicates to me there is a divine coincidence in effect or that management is listening and attempting to tailor their store to the needs of their clients.

Not so great experience. Self help fried chicken not so appealing. Chicken is great but people helping themselves isn't. Parents don't curb kids.. Also,don't look for kidney beans in the aisle that says beans there with Mexican food.

Beautiful brand new store! Nicest price chopper Ive ever been in! Fresh produce, organized and clean, well stocked deli and bakery. I shop the adds and get great deals, plus instore specials! Florist shop and pharmacy too! Very convenient one stop shop!

We stopped in here one evening while in the area and I was not impressed. Compared to the Price Chopper I visit regularly in Platte City this place needed some help. It had a funky smell when we walked in and the lighting wasn't great - makes the place feel a little less inviting. Not to mention the belts at the checkout were half the length of my regular store. Products and prices were okay but I'll stick to my normal store.

Being the only store in town, it shows. Their prices are criminal, and they are harsh with minorities. I drive a lot further to HyVee if I need more than a loaf of bread.

Thank God for the new Price Chopper!!! Who knew a meat counter could change your life??? There are two young kids that have been working it any time we go and they are fantastic, kind, and efficient. There was never this kind of selection at the old one and it had an awful odor throughout the whole store for the last 6 months that we just stopped going. Beautiful and clean, wide isles to allow for social distancing. I hate that the customer service reps have to put up with some of the mean patrons over mask request, but they have handled it very well the two instances that I have seen.
