Such a FUN little spot, on a pleasant Sunday drive. After photographing my niece and her boyfriend's portraits at the parlor a few weeks ago, we decided to take them out for dessert today for her birthday. The ice cream did NOT disappoint! Ice cream was sweet and cold, service was perfection, and who wouldn't LOVE the fun atmosphere, with the sock hop vibes, complete with music from the juke box! Photos from our session at the parlor - what a dream place to photograph!

Delightful! Don't stop in Paradise without getting some of the best Ice cream from some of the nicest people. Flavors were awesome and the servings sinful and very reasonable prices. Quaint 50's style shoppe with a curio and souvenir shop next door. Just across the street from Captains Corner.

The Ice cream was delicious. I had a Coffee Carmel with chocolate chips. This place was a 50's theme delight.

My family stopped by this cute ice cream parlor and absolutely loved it! It's close to Smithville Lake and has an awesome, retro vibe to it. The inside was clean, the service was great and the ice cream was delicious! 10/10 recommend.Also, there are some cute chairs that make for perfect photo ops. (A booth that looks like the back seat of a car, a bench that looks like an ice cream Sunday and a GIANT chair on the edge of the little plaza).

Unique atmosphere, friendly staff, great selection - highly recommend. They have malt for shakes, banana splits and everything else you could want. Prices reasonable and staff flexible.

Great place for ice cream! The decor is really neat with old diner relics! Had the Missouri Pot Hole ice cream and let's say this, I usually don't remember names of ice cream but it was amazing!

I don't normally give 5 stars because I think better is always possible. However, I can't think of a way this place could be better. Two scoops....one Cow Tipping and one Missouri Pot Hole. Both are among the best ice cream flavors I have ever had. The girl working the counter was extremely friendly and interactive. The environment was excellent, like an old ice cream parlor. If you haven't been here, you're not living right!!

I've been to a lot of ice cream places in my life and they probably have the best ice cream I've ever had!! The style of the parlor was magnificent and just sent me back into the past. The lady who worked there was very nice and helpful. I'm definitely coming back and will recommend to everyone I know.

I had my first chocolate soda since Justus Drug Store closed. These folks know what they're doing. It was very tasty and they were so kind and friendly. They even had a sasquatch ball cap. The decor is so fun and the atmosphere warm and welcoming. I highly recommend!

Today's special was a footlong chili dog. It looked soo good so we drove up to check out the place. Wow! The best chili dog!! Such a fun vibe in the place. Was gonna try the icecream parlor but too full. That will be our next trip! This is gonna be routine place for us

This is a cute ice cream perfectly located by the lake which makes for a nice stop on our way home. The ice cream is good and reasonably priced. I would stop in again.

We ate supper at Captins Corner across the street then ventured across the the street to the Ice cream parlor...it was wonderous...delicious and the decor so perfect. The ladies serving us were so lovely.

I am amazed and impressed at how well the place has been renovated and decorated. The people are nice and friendly, The ice cream was pretty tasty and I am very much looking forward to that hot chocolate bar.

Well I had a peanut butter fudge malt. It was very sweet. Okay though. But the teeny bopper staff let me stand there while they gossiped about teenage drama. I finally interupted them and demanded service. Very rude to me after that. Basically, momma that owns the place needs to put some time and attention to supervision of the adolescent staff. Food across the street is excellent!

The cow tippin' ice cream is pretty tasty! Reasonably priced and decorated perfectly. Loved the atmosphere and location in general. Definitely has the feel of an old fashioned ice cream parlor.
