Stopped in to get cat food after our veterinarian appointment. Found out they didn't carry the food we have for our cat but they did have Science Diet and several other high-end cat foods. Everyone in the store at Major Mall was so helpful and polite. It was a nice place to stop by on the way home and see what they had available. 4 🌟 because they didn't have the brand we were looking for. Ohhh and they do dog 🐕 grooming for a very reasonable price also.

I didn’t get the girl’s name that groomed my Jackpot but she did a great job. She listened to what I wanted and delivered! They have a nice little shop that has what I need; Blue Buffalo food and K9 Advantix II flea med. It’s nice to be able to shop a local business for these items. I’ll definitely bring my pup back here to be groomed.

They always fit my dog in for getting her nails clipped and are very nice to her. My only complaint would be that there is kind of a small selection on small dog toys, but they're a small business, so I totally get why. I've taken my dog to For Pet's Sake for years and would not go anyplace else. Not only are they the best in town, they were voted Best Pet Groomer in Kansas City Magazine's Bestcof 2023. The owner is a wonderful, caring person who sets high standards for everyone.

I was in KC visiting my bf, and needed to get my mini golden doodle groomed. I called For Pets Sake and they fit us in at the last minute. I was so grateful, but part of me was nervous to take her to a new place - not knowing how it would turn out. When I picked her up, I was so happy. Her groom was absolutely PERFECT, and better than the place I take her to where I live, in Wichita. The entire staff was very friendly and made the whole process a breeze. Not only did her groom look great, but they put adorable feathers in her hair, which have got allot of compliments. I go to KC just about every other weekend, and I think this will be our new grooming place now! A very happy customer! Thank you guys again for fitting us in the day of and giving us a great first time experience.

I have taken my 100 lb old english sheepdog there several times. He is not a fan of the groomers, but he runs to the door here. They always do a great job, and the staff is very accommodating. LOVE this place!!!

Annabelle is my 100lb 10+ year old Golden Retriever. They got her in for a grooming and did a great job. Annabelle was happy ..We were happy ..And we will go back again soon

I really like this place so does the critters I've taken to them ! There's only one thing ! OK There's two I wish they would come to my home and trim my animals nails cuz my dog doesn't travel very well and I Would love to see them in a bigger shop they need one !! The lady's are so friendly and the critters love them !!! That Matters !!

1st time I took my dogs there for grooming hey did awesome. yesterday horrible. they called and asked us if we would move up appt. because of cancelation. we did. said it would take 2 hours. so made plans for 2 hrs. they apparently just groomed other dogs because 3.5 hrs later they finished mine. and did a horrible job

Very caring staff. My 7 year old dogs first grooming and they did a great job. He looks so cute and he seemed very happy , not stressed at all. I will use them again.

I do not come here very often as I generally groom my own dogs and have most all of the supplies that I need. I needed to come in and pick up a specific size harness and since I was in the area decided to come into the store. They were all very nice friendly and professional.

Went Up to For Pet's Sake today, Friday to check on getting my three dogs groomed.Told Me they couldn't get me in until June 11?Ask about getting their Nails Trimmed. 🤔They Don't Trim Nails!!! 🙄They TRIMMED them Before.Now Only when Being Groomed. 😲LOST ME AS A CUSTOMER!!! 👎

The grooming part was ok, “but they charged us twice” it’s been almost a month now. We called them and they said they didn’t see the double charge!! But we was double charged!! Had to call our bank this morning to dispute it!

Those small and with a somewhat limited inventory that is occasionally out of stock, it's still a great resource with friendly staff, reasonable prices, and a convenient location. Certainly nice to have it in the community!
