I had a delicious hamburger and french fries at Area71 in Shell Knob yesterday...best hamburger ever! Everything was clean, neat and staff was friendly and attentive.

Very pleased. The area was well kept and pleasantly quiet. Laundry facilities small but super clean. Would definitely recommend staying here if you are looking for something in the area.

Waited a lil over an hour for an omelette and there was only a couple of customers, my friends toast had mold on it , I’m sorry but I will not eat there again until they get someone to manage the place , very disappointed only one year ago we had a very positive experience, great food ! I will not camp there again and I damn sure won’t eat the food again

Josie fixed the most delicious burgers for us! What a great place to pick up a nice hot meal and take it to eat while sitting and looking at the lake! Great food and great service! Looking forward to the expanded facilities and hours!

Use to be a good place to eat, not anymore. The have no food to choose from, not even a hamburger. I just left, I can see why nobody was in there eating. I just left, I can get some food at grocery store.

Their customer service is absolutely amazing! If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would. I ordered a BLT, and it was outstanding-- More bacon than I've ever seen on a sandwich. My husband ordered the taco salad-- They made a mistake, but when we asked them about it, they went WAY above and beyond to correct it. They brought him a whole new plate of food AND gave us free ice cream. The food was delicious, the employees were courteous and friendly, and everything was CLEAN. The gas pumps were clean, the restaurant was clean, and the bathrooms were clean! We are super happy we stopped here, and we'll definitely be back!

Awesome place to get about anything a person needs. We ate really good cheeseburgers here with delicious fries. Another day we had their breakfast & it was really good too! Everyone who works there is super nice! Can't wait to come back & visit on our next getaway!

Found this little local gem this morning while looking for a breakfast spot. We were not disappointed. We had an omelet, sausage, eggs, hash browns, biscuit, good hot coffee. Connected to a gas station convenience store. Don't let that sway you. Would definitely eat there again.

I went in for in a ham and cheese omelet. It turned out to be egg and ham with 2 slices of cheese on top. The price was ridiculously high!!! Will go hungry if this is what Shell Knob has to offer. I paid 14.85 for just an omelette, no hash browns or anything else.

Had the backyard burger and split it with wife, just as we did last time.Fries were good as usual.The burger was as big as before, but the taste was off.The bottom bun got too soggy and the brisket was too smokey.This is normally a very good burger but have to rate it as a 3 this time

Very disappointed ☹️. I have came here to eat and had wonderful experiences but this time I stopped to fill up on gas went inside paid cash and then the pump wasn't working. Went inside spoke to the employees 2x and then moved my vehicle to another pump after it still didn't work. I then went in for a 3rd time and was told "if your mad there are other gas stations". I never once said I was angry and was just trying to fill up. Very disappointed at the customer service

Stopped in while staying in the area. I got the Area71 sandwich with fried Mac n cheese Gouda bites. Oh. My. So good. Husband got the burger with fries and he said it was super good too. It was nice and clean and the service was great.

While it really doesn't qualify as "fine dining", it definitely qualifies as terrific dining... and in a C-store/gas station.The burgers are fresh and tasty and their fries are great.So if a gas fill up, some beer, a quick pick up of some charcoal and bread... as well as some food you'll never see the quality of in franchised quick restaurants is in your plans, this is the place.

Great service from Doug… very accommodating, we moved camp sites twice, once just for better location and again with new motor home. The park is expanding and improving. There are Full hookups with 50amp service. The inly draw back, no concrete pads and dusty from gravel.

Had two orders of chicken strips, one with fries, and the other with onion peddles. Chicken took a little while to get...but fresh cooked food takes longer. Both the fries and the onion peddles were great, as well as the chicken. Great place, nice and clean....little on the pricey side...but then it's on the way to the lake so you'd probably expect that.

Clean, friendly staff; we had breakfast and everything was quite good! The Denver omelette was huge and delicious and the biscuits and gravy were yummy as well. We will go there again.

Food is good. Place is clean. Service is very slow. We waited 1 hour for food. Kitchen is busy by body movement but inefficient in getting things done. That comes from many years in the cafe business by me. Workers moved from the grille and cash register and wore same gloves. Made change with same gloves. Not good.

Nice little casual dining spot at lake. We had a steak sandwich with seasoned fries and nachos. Delicious! Don't leave without trying the soft serve ice cream, yum. They don't scrimp on the air conditioning either.

The burger was very dry the prices are way too high. Lost our order. Service was slow. Not enough tables inside. Bathroom was filthy. Feet Actually stuck to the floor in the main room. It was my 2nd trip there-my first and last. I was not a happy diner. Not even one star but had to give one in order to post.

This is the ultimate relaxed vacation restaurant/gas station stop, great food, family friendly, you can drive your car or your golf cart down! Make sure you try out the breakfast buffet, and if you're thinking of starting breakfast off properly, have them make you a drink at their full bar!

My husband insisted we eat here, when he parked at the gas station and said "we're here" I was less than excited. Then... I read the menu (LOVE) then... they brought our food out! Simply delicious and wonderfully cooked!!!! We will definitely be back!

This is the best little hidden gem. It is well worth finding. The owners and staff are friendly and the food is made to order and the ingredients are fresh. We eat here all the time. My grown children get excited for breakfast when we tell them to its time to head to Area 71.
