11-22-23 just stopped in for some fried chicken and let me just say that being from New Orleans, I know what good fried chicken is, the fried chicken I sampled from this Wood's Grocery store was THE BEST!!! I had a food-gasm while enjoying it. Made my day, for sure. Best of the best!! Thank you to all the hard working people there ❤️❤️❤️

I am happy to say I can find Keto bread, hot dog & hamburger buns at Woods.Just wish the price was a little better. $7.99 for Cinnamon Bread & $5.99 for 4 hot dog buns is a bit pricey.

Manager Amber that I spoke to was very friendly and personable. Any other employee that I have spoke with was always very helpful and polite. It's a very small store but nicely kept place.

Lots parking and check out lanes for fast checking. Employees seem knowledgeable and helpful when asked. It's a good size store, clean wide Isles always loaded with products. A good size meat assortment as well as the dairy products with some of the best expiration dates. But my favorite would be the Woods Deli. It has good Fried Chicken and potato salad. And many other goodies. It also has a wide variety of alcohol and spirits if you drink as well as they have tobacco products are you must be 21 cuz you will be carded. Prices are higher then the local Superstores. But Woods has a good atmosphere. As well as employees that will not try to pretend, that they don't see you if you need help. A better over all shopping experience. Just make sure you get everything that you ordered when you order online. Half of my last order was not delivered. 😖After I called them. I had to then go pick up my order, that should have been delivered.😡 Because they couldn't deliver my delivery order. 🤔 yeah that's right could not deliver my delivery order.🤨

The prices are atrocious. I have compared their prices to walmart, and walmart can beat them as much as $5-$6 on some of the higher end items. And are still quite higher on just your basic everyday items. It is a very clean store. And the atmosphere is good and the workers do a good job. It's just their are extremely pricey. I wish they had the report and the hometown charm that Bings had, with the excellent meat deals that Bings used to have weekly, or how Bob's IGA used to be in town. I really wish that we could get a couple more groceries to come into town to run woods out. Because I don't believe they are hometown based. They are out just to make a buck and screw the customers because we don't have a choice of a budget friendly store like the former stores used to be. Their pharmacy is wonderful because they are good about delivering each day. If they can get the food cost down to where the customer can afford the purchase there and get better meat have something.

I like that store because they have a wide variety of grocery items. Staff are friendly, and efficient. The Delli offers are all beautiful displayed and fried chicken is crisp and delicious.

They had jackfruit. Google it. What grocery store carries that around here in Sedalia? And this was the Woods in the seedy part of town. Not the one the Maserati drivers shop at, the one that 30 year old dodge trucks with half the truck bed rusted out and bumper held on with duct tape.

The East sides premier grocery store. I've been a customer of Woods Supermarket for over 20 years and it will always hold a special place in my heart. Absolutely stellar service and dedicated staff makes this store a real treat to go to. They have a wonderful deli and dine in area that offers a wide selection of hot, fresh foods, many cold salads (i.e. potato salad, pasta salad, etc.) and even a fresh bakery. If you've had a long day at work, and want a stunning meal they have meal deals to fit any budget. Don't forget to say hi to Crystal and thank her for her many years of service to this great establishment. She really makes the customer experience phenomenal and will consistently go out of her way to help other employees and customers.

The prices are higher than Wal-Mart which is to be expected due to not being as big and able to buy in bulk,but I prefer to pay the little extra for better customer service and if you need help someone is around not hiding somewhere like in Wal-Mart

The pharmacy is great.The store never looks clean.The deli has very nice helpful employees. The dining are and hot food area are almost always dirty.10/2/19, the dining area and drink machines were real dirty. I did not get a drink due to the uncleanliness.November 14th and the place is still dirty. The deli area and dining area are not clean. The table edges need a scraper! Does the health department ever visit????????

I used to like shopping at Woods Supermarket ( in Bolivar & Buffalo), but have not had good experiences in Sedalia.Today, they didn't give me the $5 in savings on the "Buy 5 save $5" and had a "we could care less" tone about it. They even acknowledged their system isn't giving the discount on certain items.I drive more than15 miles each way to shop there, so I really don't appreciate being ripped off and then told to drive another 30 miles roundtrip so they "can look at it."

I love words and they have great great choices of meat and vegetables and their Deli is awesome and they have a wonderful place right inside the door to get flower arrangements but their prices are high. But it does help if you have a Woods card. The customer service is always excellent though and what's a good food in the customer service that's what keeps me going back.

Nice quiet place to shop unlike walmart 🙆people are friendly and the best part there is actually people working the registers!! It still just blows my mind that I can go shop in town without being required to scan and bag my own groceries. Seems to me if I'm not an employee why should I pay full price when I'm the one who has to do all the work.lol that's why I like woods. There's real people working and my only responsibility is to find the stuff I need and off-load it on the belt. Genius 🙆 there's still hope for humanity after all.😂
