Called about a pj mask toy and was told it was in store and was holding it behind the counter so I thought I can go in and shop had my 2 year old with me to be told when I check out they already sold it. I was literally at big lots parking lot and then went to the store to get it and was sold while I was in there. Was no miss communication on my part. I called and double check cause I know myself if I go into stores and buy things but I did buy some cloths and items for my girls, but then to lie and say we never had it it was sold this morning after I got there and sorry does not cut it for me. I worked in retail and if you tell a customer that you have in and hold it for a customer and sold it to someone else. So if they tell you that just go straight to the counter because there communication is not good there. Made my day to crushing it in seconds when been looking for this toy for my girl for some reason pj mask is not sold in much stores anymore. It was nice they said sorry but I don't accept that. That toy was the only reason I came into the store. Also I had the same problem i saw on other reviews about workers making you uncomfortable because they think they are stealing. Was chasing a toddler threw the store got a cart instead set my items in the store and got a cart then picked them back up. Still thought I also was trying to steal. Customer service really needs to be worked on.

i would rate it a zero if i could. me and my sister came shopping here, well we were followed around the entire time by a male employee, (maybe a manager) and i think they were looking at my sister thinking she was stealing, but no, what under the hoodie shes wearing was clearly a 5 month baby bump! do better, really discriminating if u ask me!

My experience at the store was extremely disappointing. They kept me waiting and promised to hold onto my outfit, only to go back on there words. The lack of communication and follow-through was frustrating. I hope they can improve their customer service to prevent similar situations in the future. A male worker followed us around the store thinking we were stealing because my sister was pregenet. This type of assumption and lack of respect is not something any customer should experience. I hope the store takes this feedback seriously and improves their customer service.

As you know. These stores have pretty cool items, although a lot of their prices aren’t that much cheaper than you’d find elsewhere. Good selection of purses, shoes are meh.

I don't understand all the one-star reviews. I have always really liked this store. It's a great place to buy a gift or something unique, but I think my favorite thing they sell is candy. There's so much to choose from! And even though I don’t have my own children, this store has a nice variety of children’s clothing. Everything here is very unique and if you’re buying a gift for someone, chances are very slim that they already have the same thing.

We had one of the best clerks today. She wrapped all our glassware and double bagged each bag. Long line but she made sure to get each item carefully packed. Her name was Megan (S). Not positive of the initial. Very nice lady. She is a keeper for this store.

A Great place to go, if you want things for trips you can go out there and find yourself something to go on your trip. Was just there looking for a new purse, saw a little nice one's too. So come on over and find you something.

The store is very clean and organized. Jenni Q gives horrible customer service. I am there often and she is always in a bad mood, doesn’t even look at you, doesn’t smile or create a happy environment. I thought maybe she was having a bad day but sure enough a week later same thing. All the other staff are great with smiles and friendly.

Always find amazing bargains here. They also have a large selection of rare items. You have to go back often because they get items in all the time. Great smelling candles as well!!

It was a quick trip in and out on a planned eating, shopping and pedi day. We didn't need any help finding anything and we barely waited a minute to check out. Successful. I do wish that it were a bigger store, but that has nothing to do with our satisfaction today.

Actually really loved this TJ Maxx location! They weren’t super picked over and we’ll socked with lots of merchandise being so close to the holiday. Workers were very nice too.

Nice, clean store. Associates were pleasant and cleaned the cart handles before we use it. I spent to much money but not because of the pricing but because I couldn't pass up such good bargains.

I found everything I was looking for and then some. I went in looking for something Michael Kors for my grandma and came out finding something she absolutely loved and in her favorite color. The store was very clean and organized. The staff stayed busy and helpful as well as friendly. I will be back here again when looking for notebooks, planners, and name brand gifts.

DO NOT GO TO THE SEDALIA TJ MAXX. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. They do not open their fitting rooms, and their excuse is because they are short staffed—even though I saw several associates standing around not helping anyone. I spoke with the manager who was very rude and condescending. They are not helpful or friendly or willing to satisfy their customers. The floors are dirty and clothes are not in the right sizes. A lot of them are stained, ripped, and dusty. They do not want your business.

The store itself is nice, I really love their selection. The last time, we were treated extremely rudely, told to leave because we didn't have masks on. We can shop elsewhere, where we can think for ourselves, as far as the masking goes. ~Charlotte
