I always find what I'm looking, in my size (8.5 men's wide), at Shoe Sensation. I like that they carry a good selection of brands, including Brooks brand, my favorite running shoes. They have a decent selection of styles in wide width.They also have a good Skechers selection. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. They leave you to browse if that's what you want but they're also there if you have questions. They have a welcoming, comfortable atmosphere to shop in.

I called to ask the date I bought my husband's shoes so I could get refunded through the shoe manufacturer for defects in the shoes coming completely apart after only a month, and the manager lady on the phone was rude. She put me on hold and never came back. I called again and she hung up immediately and then when I called for the third time she said " no receipt no refund." I wasn't asking her for a refund, I wanted the date of purchase so I could get the refund through Sketchers.... she clearly is not management material and I will take all of my business to the online manufacturer directly from now on instead of helping fund her job that she clearly does not do.

To whom this may concern, Sedalia shop owners be on the lookout for a notorious thief known to the Sedalia area. Male, Joseph Fore. Resides at 530 e. 3rd st. Sedalia. He may be alone, with another male, or his girlfriend of same residence. They drive a beat up gold colored Chrysler sirrus. If you remember selling shoes to two males within the last week, one bought two pairs, the other walked out of your store with a pair. Size 91/2 to 10 mens. Sneakers. This Fore is your man. Check your boxes, find any empty, check your cameras. Hope this helps.

Pulled into the parking spot at 5:50pm and saw the workers get up and run twords the door to lock it. They shut the lights off too. Like I get it the store closes in 10 minutes but doing it when you saw me pull in is just vile. I wasn't even going to take that long I knew what I wanted. Worst experience ever I'm going to Kohl's as we speak.

I had a very positive experience this evening as a customer of Shoe Sensation in Sedalia, Missouri, courtesy of Store Manager Brian. I had bought a pair of walking shoes several weeks ago that I really liked, but they were designed with fairly light mesh webbing toward the toes that started to come apart despite fairly light use on my end. I asked if I might be able to exchange the shoes for another pair with a more sturdy design, and Brian not only allowed me to do so, he also helped me find another pair of shoes that I think will serve me even better. I do not take it for granted when I find a person/place that provides superior customer service and support, standing behind the product that is being sold. This is the sort of thing that will make me a loyal repeat customer. In fact, I ended up buying a second pair of shoes this evening from the store, in addition to exchanging the one pair, because I was also needing some work shoes. I walked away a very satisfied customer, with a pair of walking shoes and a pair of work shoes that I think will serve me very well. I did not get his name, but there is another Sales Associate who was also very helpful during my first experience at Shoe Sensation, when I bought the initial pair of walking shoes several weeks ago. I have been very happy with the customer service I have received on both occasions in recent weeks at the Sedalia, Missouri Shoe Sensation store. Today's experience in particular is an example of how to gain loyal repeat customers, so I wanted to share this experience with others, with my gratitude.

Knowledgeable and friendly staff. I don't recommend this store for someone looking for work boots. I found 1 pair of steel toed boots. They were black and a bit too slick in appearance for work boots. I was curious so i picked one up and immediately the inside cushion caught my attention. It was purple. I decided that pair of boots don't really qualify for work boots.

I have no complaints,I would however like to mention customer service is great.I got a pair of polo boots here for 35 with an online code.So you just have to watch for deals plus they have Bogo boots buy one get one free deal,And there's an Arby's across the street it's a great place to get breakfast

I showed up at 7:45pm and apologized for coming in late and said I'd try to hurry. Looked for 5 minutes and then was told that they wouldn't except cash because they already counted down the register. You are open until 8pm and you should be prepared to sell your products until then. Recount your drawer! If I could have made it earlier I would have. You're still open. Very unprofessional. I probably won't be back.

It's a shoe store. The selection is decent enough. Having the right sizes seems to be challenged. Customer service however was exquisite. Very kind and was more than patient and willing to help.

I visited this store on Halloween. I was greeted by friendly and helpful staff. Their selection wasn't as much as I would have liked, but the store was clean and neat and well organized, and the atmosphere relaxed. The quality of the footwear appeared high and the prices reasonable, and they had some great sales going on too! I was able to get a pair of ankle boots for around $40! And since it was Halloween, I even got to pick a treat or two from their candy basket. ;-)

I'm disgusted with this location. I've always had a pleasant experience with this company but now I came in to buy new shoes for my daughter for the store clerk to tell me 'maybe if her feet weren't so pudgy, she'd fit in the shoes' then went on to heavily imply by daughter needed a diet. Who speaks like this!?!? To customers!?

The staff is really friendly and it a clean place with 3 bench to try on shoes and I work at a factory were steel toes are required. So I got me the sketches brand. So far they been doing good. Kinda of on the expensive side. But I wear 14wide.

Can't give more then 3 stars sadly. Not a very diverse selection of shoes black, white, gray. Or white with rainbows, black with rainbows, or gray with rainbows(coloring). Only thing that separates them is the brand logo. Just wish there was an actual variety of colors.

Overpriced shoes! Can buy them cheaper online! Have prices marked wrong on shoes in Clearance area! Then, when you take them to the register, they say they are in the wrong area. Happened to a couple of people while I was in the store! At least they could price the shoes CORRECTLY! Noone helps you while in the store. They just stand around and look at you and if you ask for a pair of shoes, they take forever to find it in the back of the store. Then, if you buy some shoes, they have some sticky stuff on the left shoe that they even have trouble getting off with chemicals on your new shoe. It's supposed to help them locate the shoe in the back of the store which doesn't seem to work because it takes FOREVER to come back with the shoe. It was supposed to be a girl Manager helping us that couldn't find the shoe, priced wrong and couldn't get sticky stuff off of the shoe!Do Not Recommend!

Not bad kinda hard to navigate the selection. Lots of brands and styles. However no guarantee if they will have your size in said style. They do offer layaway. Which is a nice bonus. Prices are not tearable.

I visited seven shoe retailers in Sedalia looking for a specific pair of Converse All Stars or Dr. Marten boots. None of them had them. Shoe Sensation was my eighth stop and the manager (didn't get his name) was the ONLY person in town to take the time to ask me why I was looking for these specific shoes.He went on to talk about some brands and styles that may fill my need. Because of his great service I decided to purchase a pair of Under Armour brand shoes that are extremely comfortable.Because of his great service, they will be my first stop the next time I need a new pair of shoes. Excellent experience.
