Placed an order on the Menards website for a chain-link fence gate. Came to pick it up, and when the guy finally answered the phone in the order pick up, he said he would get the order right out to me. He brings it out to me with a huge smash and the top of it making it unusable. Why was this not seen when it was loaded off the truck? Now I have a contractor coming tomorrow to install a fence gate that I don’t have. And the guy was not apologetic or anything, very clearly. He didn’t give a care. This is not the type of customer service I expect from a business I do business with. This will be my last order with Menards.

My husband and I went to Mernrds today to find a pole to put a handicap sign on . My husband had found it on there web site. There was a super nice worker named Kamryn back by the lawn and garden area. We was completely lost in the store and had no idea to where to even start looking for said item. I asked Kamryn would he help us look for our item and he didn't even hesitate to help, even though he was busy doing something else. We gave him the item number and he looked it on a handheld device.Not only did he look it up for us but walked us right to it. It saved us some much time and effort. He even offered to go get us a buggy. We was super amazed at his customer service. I really appreciated all the help he gave us. So thank you Kamryn for being willing to help us . And for actually loving what u do! Bc it really showed.

Seems like almost everything you buy here is broken, scratched, dented or just doesn’t work. Their customer services is below average and the return policy and how they handle it for the broken defects is horrible. Find somewhere better to shop and spend your money.

I purchased 4 12 inch shelf brackets and got home to install them. Went to screw in the second bracket and noticed the bracket was different. Turns out it was from Walmart and it was probably stolen and returned. Manager said "we can't return this without the SKU" that's the sticker the thief scratched off when they returned it.... I let them keep the bracket and ate the 5.99 but I'm going to Lowe's from now on. Poor customer service and attention to detail...

Do you just sell the s++t wood to people? I get there could be knot holes occasionally but with the cost of lumber, what you sold and delivered to us is ridiculous! Never again and I will never recommend you to anyone! Considering taking other actions!

All I wanted was paint by the time I found someone to help me she was super rude for no reason. Was an older lady with short hair. I was going to put my stuff back and go somewhere else but ended up getting what I needed anyway. So I would make sure you don’t need help going in this store.

They had what we needed and for the right price. We needed carpet tiles that they had on sale and the associates were very helpful. We will definitely be back for other things for our project.

This place is nice. I was able to get all I needed for my garden this year for a really reasonable price. Only complaint is the sale is always 11% and yet the sale never stops so its not a sale?

Went to the Sedalia location today and I am sad to say that I will not be returning to this location, I could not find anyone to help me and if I did see someone they were speed walking to get away asap (paint area). The girls at the front desk made up for the lack of assistance in the store area. Hire people who actually want to work and god forbid don’t make us customers chase you around the store

I was able to find just about everything that I was looking for. I am looking for an orbital sander. Specifically made by DeWalt. I purchased 100 grit sandpaper for an orbital sander. I just don't own one. I found the selection of sandpaper no longer included wide sheets. Everything is size specific. They do carry an orbital sander. I just want a DeWalt because I can interchange my lithium batteries with my DeWalt cordless drill.

Actually right now 10/06/23 if you are looking for doors they have a clearance rack with some great deals on doors. It's worth going to check out

Always like going to this store. Employees are more than helpful and friendly. Always find what we need for a good price. Best big box home store in the area hands down.

They advertise saving "Big Money" but it really isn't that much. Plus, in order to save the money you have to jump through hoops with forms, internet and mail. After all of that you get what is essentially a gift card good only at Menards. So no money is actually saved, the gift card has to be spent. I'll do future purchases at other home improvement centers that have real sale discounts and provide real discounts upon checkout.

Great customer service! Made sure we were helped and checked in with us in each department in case we needed anything. 4 stars only because of a slightly limited selection in lighting -- they have a wide variety of departments, they are just lacking in depth of variety within them. That being said, they are usually willing to order something in if they don't have it in stock.

The worst experience I've ever had with a store. I ordered and paid for building materials to be delivered 3 months ago. Still haven't gotten to my house. And every time I call they say the ordered has been canceled. I will never order from them again. 😒

Would give a zero if I could. I really wanted to like this store, but after many bad experiences over the past couple years I just can't. The local management is absolutely atrocious. They are hateful, nasty and rude, with the attitude that they are "allowing" us the privilege of shopping in their store. The 11% rebate is a joke. It's store credit, so you don't save anything, but Menards gets more money from you. The covid policy was border line criminal. Aggressively accosting customers, including children, over not wearing a worthless mask. The return policy/process is intentionally set up to be difficult in order to discourage returns. They sure want to sell you that Widget, but if you need to return/exchange it you're in for a long and painful experience. Do yourself a big favor. Skip this Menards and go to Lowes instead. Lowes may not be perfect but they are far, far better than the disaster that is Menards.

This was our first visit here. Nice, big store with friendly help. However, we stopped by to shop for plants. Very surprised and disappointed with with what we saw. They had lots of plants, but they were in terrible condition. We walked up and down all live goods aisles, but couldn't get over how poorly the plants looked. Too bad. I bought a nice shepherd's hook, though!

I love Menard's! The lighting selection is awesome. The store is very clean. I love how you can also find some grocery items as well as pet supplies. Just one of my favorite stores! Keep an eye out for end of season discounts. You can find some great stuff on sale!

Well, I was in a rush since my basement was flooding and my sump pump quit, so I already knew what I was looking for. The associate knew what aisle the pumps were on, but did not bother in assisting me. I feel sorry for someone who may have needed help as he just pointed and said the aisle number. The cashier was awesome and made sure I was out fast.

I will never come to this place again I didn't even let my contractors come here and yes I fired a contractor for this when my house was being repaired. I will never for get when Covid kicked off and you had people stopping kids from coming in which is not the problem but when they say my kid might be diseased well that the problem. I was coming to pick up $1600 in lumber well that didn't happen. I would give you 0 stars if I could

They really need to hire educated people to work specific departments. I know nothing about plumbing but I am certain I know more than the men in their plumbing department. They are extremely rude and unhelpful and couldn't answer the most basic questions.
