Selection is decent for a rural store. I can usually find what I need. But don’t expect anyone to help you here. They seem to be understaffed and not customer friendly. I’ve had to download the Lowe’s app just to find what I’m after at this store. Other Lowe’s, employees are extremely helpful but not this one.The worst experience at this store was going to check out after loading up my cart with paint and supplies. Over $300 worth. But when I went to the only cashier on duty, he told me I was over the item limit and informed me of the location of self check out. So what you’re telling me is that I need to check myself out because I’m buying too much from you? Really? I told him I wasn’t going to use self check out and he rang up my goods. I dropped off my things at the truck and went back in to help my mother who had been waiting on a gallon of paint and suddenly his check stand was closed and he was monitoring self checks. So I checked my mother out and he was snickering when we left.I plan on buying as many things from other retailers going forward which is sad since I’ve been a loyal Lowe’s customer many years now and have spent thousands of dollars with them.DIY does not mean we want zero customer service.

Do not like the new return policy....90 days? On construction materials? When I'm doing a project I might buy material and something comes up to where I can't even begin installing it till past 90 days. I've almost always gone to the competition across the street but thought I'd take a look at what lowes had to offer, found a few things to try in my home remodel project. After finishing I had a few pieces left over so I went to return them and you guessed it...just over the 90 day limit. I know I wouldn't have had an issue with the other guys because I was returning stuff I'd purchased back last summer to them with no hassle at all. 90 days? Oh well...to each their ownI didn't mention "the other guys" by name because I don't want any confusion as to my issue, I'm not posting this review to promote another company. Just trying to let someone know that perhaps the new policy needs a little tweaking.

I prefer Lowes over the other home improvement stores. Very seldom do I have any issues with them. I can get what I want and be on my way. Love the veterans benefits.

Always love going to Lowes. They have a great space between each isle so nobody is right on top of you as you are browsing for different items. They usually have whatever I am looking for in stock (expect anything Milwaukee). Guaranteed there is a stores associate in the isle your in or the one over, ready to help at a drop of a hat if you ask them a question. I haven't been checked out by a real person in a really long time from there. They have 2 different types of machines that they utilize to check people out and get them out of the store faster. Cash only machines and cash or card machines. Either way the buttons are identical to each other. I guess that's not entirely true. Down at the "Pros desk" they have someone checking you out everytime. So ok glad I remembered that. Also if you ever have a question a regular store associate can't answer for you, you can go to the Pro Desk and they will have an answer for you no matter what it is. Great People that work there. They just don't sell Milwaukee🤷

I bought a Samsung frig, dishwasher, stove, and microwave. I bought the 5 year add on extended warranty which starts the day you buy the appliances. I was told when I bought it that it started when delivered. I had to wait from 11-29-18 till April the next year to get appliances delivered since they didn't have them. The manager Ali was nice and tried to help but it was out of her hands. The lowes protection plan is a joke and samsung appliances are junk. I have not had a good experience with them at all.Update- after I wrote this review lowes owner responded with a number to call to get resolved. That was a waste of time. I was just told they can't go back more than 4 years to see deliver date so the 5 year protection plan is a joke. Just wasted 45 more mins to solve nothing.

This store doesn’t deserve a star but had to select at least 1. Went to buy new washing machine waited and waited for someone to assist us. Finally a guy showed up and told us they only stock the ones contractor uses. Never asked which one we wanted and didn’t want to listen to us when we asked if it could be ordered. We told him we were not local and delivery would have to worked around our schedule due to our jobs. He said no they deliver when they deliver. He never asked if we wanted the floor model or nothing. We took our business across the road to Menards and walked out with a better washer at a better price and it was a floor model. Will not go back to Lowe’s in Sedalia

This is the place for all household items . My favorite is getting paint samples to help decide on a color to use for my house. The staff is always there to help. They staff in the Sedalia Lowes are so friendly.

First, I called to see if what I needed was in stock. I was bounced around for 13 minutes before I was disconnected. I went to the store and walked towards the appliances where I found an employee small talking with a vendor. I asked about the washer tray I needed and he said "with the washers". Didn't stop talking to show me. When I got down there there were 3 other employees visiting,never asking if they could help. Then I get to the registers! No checkers anywhere. There was one young woman holding up a display rack near the self check out. Not a word from her! No hello, can I help, have a nice day, nothing! I think I understand why the parking lot is always so empty.

Let me list the reasons you should not shop here:1. Try to buy something over the phone. I dare you. You’ll have better luck getting nuclear launch codes from the pentagon. Appliances…then cashier…then appliances…then operator…then I’m pretty sure they transferred me to a lady working the drive thru at McDonalds..…then the 6th person could ring me up.2. Delivery is an ABSOLUTE JOKE. See this image I attached? That’s my fridge, except with the handles removed and the tape and plastic still on it, even though I was told it would be ready to use. They just left it like this.3. Delivery is an ABSOLUTE JOKE, AGAIN! I called, asked to have them come and attach handles and remove all the tape and plastic, like they were supposed to. Delivery manager scheduled it. I even got the automated call confirming it the day before. I was so hopeful!!!! But nope….they didn’t even show up.4. Management seems overwhelmed. I called…requested yet again just to get what I was told I would receive. Told 2 days before they could send someone. I get the impression that they’re so used to talking to frustrated customers that the conversations don’t even register anymore. I passed on the wait. Figure 2 week wait is long enough. Still don’t have the original screws for the handles.5. I’m fairly sure they subcontract out delivery. Let me translate that for all of us: Some MBA in Lowe's corporate office ran the numbers and found out they could save a WHOLE QUARTER PER DELIVERY by hiring it out to some company that cares not at all about you, the customer that makes the purchase. Good job, Lowes Exec. I hope your bonus is worth it.6. The only thing this review will garner is another canned, generic response like all the other one star reviews. Nobody wants to call your 1-800 number. We just want to be able to spend thousands of dollars at your store and not feel like we’re just at a Wal-Mart that sells lumber.

Been fighting these people since may of last year to get my fence installed/ finished. This is how they left it in August of 2021 and put it down as "finished" on their file. Would not recommend at all specially if you got dogs

We stop by the Lowe's on November 25 for this Christmas carousel. It was sold out the only one remaining was the display. I was told by customer service that the displays will be sold starting 6 am on December 17. After waiting for a month and driving all the way from the base just to find out that they sold everything yesterday (most likely to each other on 50%discounts) . We called about a week ago to confirm that the information was still accurate and the displays will be sold on 17th, which ( we were told) it was. We are not waiting for discounts, the children like it so we decided to wait for this special decoration. We play by the rules too bad Lowe's employee did not. A long drive way back home to three very disappointed little children.Way to go Lowe's!

Went in to buy a refrigerator. Nothing in stock. We were told even floor models couldn't be sold because it would look bad with nothing on the floor. They don't even have models in the back everything in a warehouse. 1 week delivery so now I have to take time off of work that I don't have to wait for a delivery that they don't have a time for. Then I had other items to purchase. Isles so packed you can hardly navigate your cart full of construction items through. No cashiers!!! Most of the checkouts card only. I prefer cash. So after being in the store for over a hour frustrated trying to scan items that won't scan still had to get someone over to type in the code. Several employees walking around that didn't know where anything was and not very willing to help. Advice train your employees, and provide more American jobs by hiring cashiers, and have the items in stock that you advertise. Frustrated and disappointed in our Sedalia Lowes.

It is the worst feeling ever to give Lowe's 2 stars! My husband and I went in to get an interior door and two utility type cabinets (aisle 28). Once we decided on which we wanted, we had to go to customer service to have someone paged to the area to help as the cabinets are very heavy. We waited and waited and eventually left with nothing. So very disappointed.

I had the absolute best experience with Uriel Estrada at the Sedalia Lowe's recently. Uriel went above and beyond, demonstrating outstanding customer service and making me as a customer feel valued. In addition, the store Assistant Manager took great care of me as well. Thank you both for listening, finding a solution and displaying exactly what customer service is and should be!

After a stressful and frustrating day I went in to get new paint for my shed. When there Cody helped us in the paint department he was fast and able to help us match paint to an old paint gallon with no lid. After past not as good experiences coming in today and being helped by an experienced employee was refreshing. After returning home with the paint I realized my mistake of getting indoor paint instead of exterior and had to call and confirm I am able to return it and Cody was happy to help us sort out the problem in the fastest way possibly on our already long and exhausting day.

I am writing to give kudos to the Lowe’s delivery/pick up crew. I had an exchange pick up scheduled for yesterday between 11am -3pm. I received a call at about 2:45 pm to advise that due to an issue with the delivery truck they might have to reschedule and they would get back to me. I truly appreciated being advised and anticipated a call the next morning with an updated day and timeframeAbout 6:30 pm the delivery truck pulled into my driveway. The delivery crew apologized for being so late and asked if it would be inconvenient to pick up my return at that time, which they did. I mentioned that this had ended up being a long day for the. And they told me that their intention was to make the other (several) stops remaining before returning the truck to the store for the night. Their return to the store after their last delivery was going to take an hour so I anticipate that this dedicated crew putting in 12 hour day I order to honor their commitment to their customers.Customer service and commitment to service excellence is huge “hot button” for me and these employees exemplified that dedication.Thank you Lowes. Those gentlemen deserve recognition and appreciation. They represent you well and set an exceptional service standard. As Arnold said. I’ll be back”

Good selection of appliances went into purchase a washing machine and dryer they had absolutely none in stock would be 2 to 4 days plus delivery went across town Menards had plenty in stock and so did American Freight if you don't mind scratching dent really shocked they had no equipment in stock so they don't carry it normally anything just showroom appliances sad very disappointing had talked them up for a week

Bought a very expensive steel fence through lowes who hired on Robbie’s Home Repair, day comes to get installed and no one shows up.. just a text stating my fence will not be in after paying in full 4 months in advance. Decided to have another company come out who ends up being 5 grand cheaper and able to install my fence the next week. Trying to get ahold of someone to get my refund was impossible so after a week and a halfOf waiting around for a manger to call me back I decided to go in the store and demand my money back. Never going through them again!
