Went in between the hours of 1pm and again at 4pm. The entire staff that was working at that time was most helpful, I , with my 5 year old autistic grandson in tow. They were pleasant and courteous with his outburst and were patient as I was trying to deesculate the situation at check out. Very good people. Thank you so much.

Not much has really changed. I'm not sure, but there was an overwhelming amount of clearance items all over, and it would make one think they're going out of business. Staff seemed preoccupied with end of shift duties but were very polite.

Loved it from the moment I pulled into parking lot and saw our American flag flying high! Not only did they have the customary handicap parking in from of store, but they also had spots reserved for VETERANS! What a wonderful idea and made me feel VERY appreciated as a veteran! Naturally, as a disabled female veteran, I utilized that spot. The staff inside was very courteous, respectful, knowledgeable and helpful. I need help deciding proper size of live trap needed to trap a coon and employee took all three sizes traps down off of shelf so I could get better look. After a short discussion I decided on the medium trap. Thanks to her help, I was able to catch, relocate and release a total of four coons!The store itself was clean, well organized, and offered variety of choices in addition to a variety of products. Prices are reasonable for the most part although in my opinion the ladies jeans I looked at were a bit too priced for my budget. On positive note tho, they did have a more than reasonably priced clearance area. Overall, from the moment I pulled into the parking lot at Orscheln Farm & home in Sedalia, MO until I left the premises, I had a wonderful shopping experience. Therefore, they get a 5 star rating from me and I'll definitely be returning!

Don't shop this store! Terrible Store Manager who would rather be on Facebook or online shopping than run her store. Common practice here to dump Hazardous Waste chemicals into the trash.

One of the worst customer experiences in a long time. After being assured before purchase that I would have assistance loading a purchase, I was left with an unsecured load hanging out of the bed of my truck. The two employees helping me decided that rather than finish the job, they would rather go to lunch. And proceeded to walk away. Management was clueless. Needless to say, I had the purchase removed and demanded a refund. I won't shop here again. And I might point out that in retail, it is customer purchases that pay an employee's wages. No customers, no hours, no more lunches. I can purchase the same items at Lowes or even Amazon and will from now on.

New owners called Bomboors (sp?). Horrible!! Never been inside a farming store that DIDNT HAVE TIMOTHY HAY!! They have alfalfa pellets and alfalfa cubes that's the closest thing they have to hay, they don't have straight alfalfa or Timothy Hay, and they don't have Timothy Hay in any way shape or form. Orschelns always had regular Timothy hay and alfalfa. Not to mention there's no one around, cashier has no knowledge of what this store sells, and she was rude. No going back for me!

I was at the Sedalia, MO Bomgaars location today for some farm related items. This could very well be my last visit. A few weeks ago, a young lady that was the cashier was very rude and didn't seem overly thrilled to be of help. I chalked that up to perhaps having a rough day. Then today, a different young lady working the register seemed WAY more concerned with the fact that she didn't have a shelf to set her Sonic soft drink on and visiting with another girl than taking my money. That and a dismissive attitude will not keep former Orschelns customers coming back. Farm and Home wins out here!

The store was clean and we'll taken care of like it always is when I go. The seed selection is amazing, if you need to get hand tools for gardening, I strongly you get them here. I've went through 2 spades and 1 hand rake (bought elsewhere) just this season because our soil is heavy clay. The employees I spoke with were genuinely kind and very helpful in answering my questions. I have used their potting soil, and I won't get it & bird seed anywhere else. If you need to get anything they carry, I strongly suggest going to them first.

This was an amazing experience for my brother and myself! He's from Arizona and this was a new experience for him. They have such a wide range of selection to pick from its unbelievable! They even carry things I hadn't seen before...we will definitely be back to venture through this awesome store! The staff is so friendly and professional and willing to help you in any way they can.

Never been in there before. We were walking through the store and saw a dolly for 40.00 and has 600lb. Capacity. Just really simple and priced right. I think spare tires should be kept by them though, just in case.

I love the farm and home stores, their products cater to my country style....from tools, and work supplies to coats and clothing and boots, lawn and garden, a full line of pet supplies ,snacks, they even have a bit of jewelry. I love this place.
