The customer service is great. They helped me find the items that I was looking for if they did not have it in their store.They directed me to the closest store neer me where I found exactly what I was looking for. At the store in Lee Summitt Missouri the customer service was equally as good. The prices were great at both stores and the employees helped me load the items that I purchased. Thank youThey put the customer back in customer service. Which is very, very rare now days.

Store employees always pleasant and helpful. Store is clean and clutter in aisles at a minimum. Restrooms were clean when I used them. The only negative I find are seasonal items are more expensive than other places I shop.

This store is so underrated. You can find all kinds of goodies here. I always find home decor I like. This trip I found the moose egg nog cups from NL's Christmas Vacation. $15 bucks for too. They're acrylic, so they are a little different, but def more durable! Better than paying $20 for one on Amazon.

Had a great experience here! Shopped around for furniture, and ended up getting a a love sofa. Audrey, a furniture associate, gave me $10 off. Employees were so kind! Definitely will go back!

We were wanting a furniture set that Big Lots had on display in the Jefferson City MO store but couldn't get it (long story). Went to Sedalia to look for the same display and didn't see it. Then we talked to Audrey in the furniture department and told her what we were looking for. She knew exactly the set we wanted. She had one left in the back room and she made it happen. I was so excited. Audrey did all she could to give us the best product at the best price. When we went back to pick up the set Audrey wasn't there but her team members were fantastic in helping us get it loaded and strapped down. Just a big shout out to Audrey and her team. They were GREAT!!!

Well I had always been a fan of Big Lots due to the fact you could find off beat food products. It seems more and more it is trying to be more upscale. Don't get me wrong I know they need to keep up or be left behind. Prices seem to be increasing but that is everywhere. I guess it is nostalgia. The place still is friendly staff is helpful and they gonout of their way to make your shopping experience the best it can be.

Fantastic!!! They had a 20% sale on Friday and Saturday. June 16-17th. My wife and I spent between 30-45 minutes there.

I found an item that did not work so I asked if he would discount it and he said no, it might just be a battery,I asked him to put the battery in to see if it would work and he said no you put the battery in if it doesn’t work bring it back, this is the manager on day shift today 12/05/2021, I felt he really wasn’t interested in customer service at all! Very disappointed it was the only one they had so I refused it !😢I would have to spend more money to see if it would work?? Does not make sense to me, I really thought he should have changed the battery at least, no more big lots! I have always loved shopping there! Until the rudeness of management today!

It's got great prices. They have a unique stock of items you don't usually find at other stores. However, don't expect a high end flashy store. It needs some tlc..and zoning. Best part are the really nice folks working there. Friendly and helpful.

Truckers, I delivered at this location 8/1/21 and they were really efficient and ready to get the work done.Nice crew and people working here.NOTE: The only accesible entrance for trucks it's located at Thompson ave.From 50hwy turn south in Thompson, enter to the right at the fourth entrance. You will have enough space to maneuver behind stores.

>Jody, I think, or Joy was so helpful and there was another lady who got a carpet shampoo machine off the top shelf. Joy at the register looked up two twin mattresses for me and tagged them and out the door I went. I need to get back this week to pick them up., it's such a relief to have it done. Thank you for having such nice people in your store, and all the good stuff two. I did pay for the mattresses. They are just holding them into I can get back with a truck. Thanks again.

Wide selection of products for everyone in our family that each of us were looking for. The only problem we had was an employee was extremely rude towards us&my 2 disabled adult children. I needed to explain that his attention given to us was VERY INAPPROPRIATE towards us. Otherwise, we all were able to find exactly what we wanted and needed.

Employees being yelled at by their superiors, (I can hear it from the back into the store) said superiors have all the disregard for the health of their employees. A worker called in sick and the employee still got guff about being sick. (Even though it's step throat)This place is horrible. The staff here is overworked under appreciated, and under-paid.

This review is for Audrey in the furniture dept. I called last month regarding a couch that broke 2 months after having. We drove from Jeff city with our broken couch and Audrey thought we could do a in store credit. It turned out we could not and the couch wasn’t in store or even in stock and Audrey did everything to ensure we left with a couch with the same value to make sure our drive was worth it. Audrey had an injured hand and loaded up our new couch onto dollys with out the help of any other workers. Her worth ethic is incredible and her customer service is impeccable. Thank you so much Audrey!! We appreciate you!!!

Cool place for spices usually, and often pretty nice furniture and home goods. Sometimes things just seem strangely organized, so it can be distracting which if you're in the mood for shopping therapy, this can be a great store for you. :)

I love big lots! I can be there all day and never get tired of looking at their nifty thingamajigs. They also carry one of a kind snacks. Most of my decor comes from there.

Nice selection of items that aren't available in other stores. I buy my favorite V's caramel macchiato there as well as home goods and snacks. Good prices and always friendly service.
