BEST WORMS IN TOWN! Taters is the ONLY place in town to get the HUGE worms. Refrigerated, the worms come in a heavy-duty styrofoam square box about 3inch X 3inch X 2inch. Cost is $4 each and hold 20 big worms, which equals out to 40 hook filled worms because I have to cut them in half because that's all I can get on a size 6 hook! I can catch ALL kinds of fish with these huge worms, crappie, large & small mouth Bass, trout, catfish, etc. I even have a hard time keeping the turtles off of them! Occasionally powerbait works but for instant strike action, I love the strokes I get the minute that HUGE worm hits the water! I even caught 2 fish the other day when s small crappie grabbed the worm but couldn't get it ALL in it's mouth and while reeling him in a 3+ pound Large Mouth Bass swooped in and swallowed the little guy up!! I managed to get both ashore just as the Bass let go of the little fish and the little crappie let go of the worm. Taters ALSO is a convenience store with cold drinks, snacks, etc. The store is always clean and the employees are always smiling, friendly and efficient. They always check each carton of worms to insure that they never sell a bad box!! They also have a small selection of rifles, shotguns and handguns for sale too. I always enjoy my trips there and you will too. Not sure where the fish are biting? Just ask the friendly folks at Taters! They have the information you'll need to have a fun and successful fishing trip!

This was a pretty cool place to stop in and pick up a few things. The taxidermy is outstanding! They don't sell gas, however, they sell alot of different things. Very kind polite employees.
