Do you remember what its like to be 12 years old and get money from aunts , uncles, grandparents for Christmas .... You feel like you are a millionaire , all this money only actually = $65 but to them its worth a million . My 12 year old daughter took her Christmas money to T & M Pet Emporium. She was extremely excited to purchase 2 gerbils and a Princess castle cage, she spent her entire $65. The gentleman who sold us the items was very nice and polite , after 3 days of having these wonderful creatures and them breaking out of their cage 9 + times a day , I called the store and explained the dilemma that I was having keeping them inside the cage, the gentleman who sold us the cage explained that the owners Tom and Martha Russell were not there and would be back in a week , so I stopped on my way home at Bowls aquarium in Rolla Mo ( which I highly recommend) and purchased a different cage, when Tom and Martha Russell got back to town I called and spoke first with Tom who was rude abrupt and didn't care that his products are faulty and it was a complete waste of 49.95, Martha offered us in store credit, but when I brought the cage back in the same box all pieces having only been used for 3 days they refused to do anything EVEN after agreeing to give us in store credit they claimed they could do nothing because they couldn't resell it. Oblivious to the fact it DOESNT need resold it Doesn't work , the gerbils broke out of it several times a day it is Defective that is why we are returning it, otherwise we would have kept the "totally awesome princess castle cage" That was NOT totally awesome at all !!!!! I do NOT recommend anyone waste their hard earned money at T & M Pet Emporium nor do I recommend ANYONE allow their children to spend their gift money there either unless you enjoy having heart broken children and defective defaulty products . Tom and Martha Russell do not seem to care about customers and Tom Russell is quite rude and not at all professional in my opinion ! A complete waste of my daughters Christmas money .
