While passing through from Chicago to Tucson via 44, my wife and I got a driver's side rear tire flat from a construction bolt or nail. It was a frightening, and we were tired, hungry, and full of cortisol from the experience. A friendly and helpful Missouri state trooper recommended D&D Towing, as we had a weird security lug nut that made changing a tire challenging, and needing pro equipment.D&D were outstanding at helping us today, on a Saturday evening no less (probably the only company open, even?). We were towed, they were able to get the nut off, and got our tire replaced and installed in about 3 hours from the moment of getting the flat, which is truly outstanding.In short, this company is life-saving gold if you find yourself having car trouble of any sort in the Rolla area!

My brother and I were on a cross country trip in a 1996 Dodge Caravan (delivering my parents their car in AZ, don't judge :-) ) We were just getting on the road on Saturday morning and the A/C compressor seized and caused the serpentine belt to break. We quickly pulled off the next exit ramp. We called D&D for a tow. They answered on the second ring and let us know a tow truck would be there in 30 minutes or less. Ryan was there in less than 30 minutes. He quickly hooked up the van and while I was trying to figure where on Saturday morning we were going to get someone to repair our beast, Ryan said he would tow us to the D&D shop and they should be able to do the repairs. I was still cautious as it was a 1996 Dodge Caravan. We met Danny at shop. He looked it over made some assessments and a few calls. I was absolutely amazed. On a Saturday morning, three hours later, we were repaired and on the road. My most appreciative thanks goes out to Danny, thanks for stalling your morning plans to help out two guys driving to AZ. Our car broke down Saturday night on a holiday weekend in the middle of our road trip. They went and found the alternator and changed it out that night instead of waiting until Tuesday! Our family was traveling home when our travel trailer had a wheel issue near Rolla. After calling a few other repair shops that were all booked up, we called D&D and they got us in right away. This company is amazing. Our family of 4 (and our dog) broke down on the highway on a Friday night and they answered right away and immediately came to tow us to their shop. They got right to the repairs on Saturday morning knowing we live out of town and needed our van back asap. Everyone was incredibly kind and treated us like family. What could have been a horrible situation ended up being so manageable because they responded right away and wasted no time in making the repairs. We called to get my Dad's Prius towed 25 miles to the Toyota dealership because local repair shops didn't want to work on a hybrid. We called D&D for the tow. When they arrived they tested the low voltage battery and discovered it had failed. An hour later they have gotten a battery from the parts store and had it installed!!!He could have made more money on the tow than he made by changing the battery. But he did what was best for us rather than make more money for himself!!!Customer Service & Integrity is hard to come by these days. D&D delivered both. I cannot begin to express how much this company saved my family and I. Our engine gave in in the middle of our trip from Tx to Chicago and not only were they quick to answer but quick to pick us up with a tow truck. Upon arrival they were quick to check our car and tell us what was wrong. They even offered to drop us off at a hotel is needed! They worked around all the issues and quickly resolved the problem for such an incredible price! I truly cannot believe businesses like these still exist!!!

Being new to the area I had no clue who to call when my 1 ton dually stranded me on a hill around a curve in both directions. Lucky for me the first two companies could not/would not help me. Well they didn’t even hesitate to send help! Little did I know while driving to a funeral in my spare truck I would need to call on them again. Once again they did not hesitate to save me. Not only were they fast, professional and friendly, they made certain I made it to my destination both times. They went extraordinarily out of their way to go beyond what was expected of them. They made me feel like they were friends helping a friend in need and not a business just making money. They offered advice, made suggestions and gave me good information that I really needed. I came away from experience feeling I had made friends in Rolla and not just a reliable towing company to call on. I was on highway 44 about a ¼ mile from the 186 exit. I hydro planed, ending up in the ditch between east and west. They made it to me very quickly using their lights and sirens, risking their own lives in the process. They really care about people and gave me a very low price, considering my situation. Coming back from Branson, stopped in Rolla for gas and our Expedition wouldn’t start back up. We were tired, hot, and frustrated but D&D came to the rescue.They showed up quickly, realized we needed a new starter, and took us back to their shop and replaced it. The entire process was less than 2 hours on 4th of July!We were up a creek without a paddle and I was a little concerned we were going to get bent over, but it couldn’t have been further from the truth. This company was such a blessing to us. They arrived within 10 minutes. Returned with a new camper tire. We followed Chris back to the shop where he and Danny replaced the other tires and repaired the slide out wiring harness. They were kind, professional and quick! Traveling with my family, several hours from home, on a steep hill in southern Missouri, my vehicle suddenly lost power and began buffeting. After finding an approach to pull off the highway, we started making the calls. Several calls to local towing services and local auto mechanics including car (Ford) dealerships with service centers were demoralizing. No one was even remotely interested in helping us or giving us any direction. Then we stumbled on D&D Towing and Repair. Danny was on the ball. Within 20 minutes he had us hitched up and Cassandra, who followed him out, loaded us up and we headed to their shop in Rolla. D&D not only tows, but they have an incredible mechanic on site that troubleshot and fixed our problem while we waited. And this wasn't a run of the mill problem. In this day and age, not only is it rare to find service like this, but equally rare to find people like this. These folks are AWESOME! Kind & professional staff, caring & direct communication, and a genuine concern for getting you & your vehicle back into action (rather than just wanting your $$$). Two things to prove my claims: 1) they opened themselves up on Sunday - when they're usually closed - just so I didn't have to find a hotel to stay the night, and 2) when I was only able to get $400 out of the ATM's, they knocked my bill (2 separate towings + 2 days storage) down from $500 to $400 so I could get back to WV & make my 6:00am shift Monday morning. D&D auto helped me out in a big way. I had a wheel bearing fail on my travel trailer outside of Waynesville, MO over memorial day weekend. Everywhere closed. D&D offered to come out and get the trailer back to rolla, but also walked me through the steps i needed to do to tow it back myself. Just the voice I needed to get me on track.
