I used Tender Heart when I lived in Rogersville previously and was so thankful when they look me back with my return. Shortly after our annual wellness visit my dog experienced an injury that I am still unsure how to move forward with. The office and Dr Kim have been the most helpful, caring, and understanding staff during the hardest time for my family. They love my dog like she’s part of the family… but I know we will be for life. Can’t recommend the staff or care enough and you’ll truly walk out of there feeling like you’re friends with everyone!

Awesome. Dr. Z is always so kind and very awesome to what we need and what our little furry baby needs. She love animals like her own her tech that works with Dr. Z is super. Front desk ladies were very sweet and checked us in quickly. Great team.

Tenderheart has been my Vet for years. The staff and Vets have taken care of my pets -all rescue critters-with great care and quality service. They have always been there thru thick and thin and actually get to know both the pets and their owners-my animals love them and I'm right there with them. Sound odd? It is however the truth.

Tender Heart Animal Clinic is the ONLY place I’ll go! They have lovingly cared for my pets since 2008. Dr. Retchloff is so caring and treats my dogs and cat as if they were her own. I trust her 110%! An added bonus is the staff there are second to none! They are so knowledgeable and answer all my crazy questions! I rely on them so much. This is where I take my cats and they’re all so friendly and knowledgeable there. I know I can call and get them in quickly if it’s an emergency and they’ll keep me updated with anything to do with my cats. Definitely recommend them.

My many rescues and pets have been going here for many years now. We particularly LOVE Dr. Bradley and we lovingly refer to her as auntie since she sees my pets often and they know her very well. We always 100% know our pets are safe and very loved while they're at the vet. Not to mention, we know that every avenue will be exhausted to ensure our pet's health is in tip top shape. Called a few weeks ago when got a new puppy that had loose stools. They made a new puppy appt for 2 weeks later and said to come in for some probiotics in the interim. Now we have pup AND ME with enteric issues, and what about our other animals? Do we now need to treat them? If my gut doesn't settle soon, do I need physician care?Delay for a new pup visit - then losing initial stool sample without notifying us - has put us in position of deep cleaning everything and worrying about our other animals. All due to lack of prompt and professional care from Tender Heart. No, they didn't cause the worms and giardia, but they could have done something about it weeks ago and didn't.

Long story short, our dog cut himself running inside on the corner of our storm door. Tender Heart was able to get him in same day and stitched up at a very reasonable cost. They accommodated my sister bringing him in and were very gentle with him. He’s a pitbull with very high anxiety and they made the appointment as seamless as possible for us. I will keep bringing our dogs here.

My puppy was having problems with a UTI, and both times I’ve had to take her they have gotten us right in and been so kind. Both in person experiences and calls have been amazing, and they have been SO helpful by educating me on what is best for my puppy. Everyone is so nice and truly cares for your animal.
