New Management!!! Finally, they are getting a team together that seems to be focusing on changing and improving the issues that plagued this store! The store is clean, isles can easily be maneuvered, the product is being put up, and staff is readily available to assist! I actually was able to find everything on the SHELF and not dig for it on the stock carts! This is an older store that seemed to be forgotten and neglected. Now, the manager and staff seem to care and actually take pride in the store, appearance, and customer service. I will always choose and support local businesses that promote customer service and employees who strive to make a difference! Great job to Rogersville Dollar General employees! 👏

It’s convenient and besides it we have the Apple Market so whoever is benefiting from Dollar General renting the space knows people will shop it even with its dirty floors and trashy checkout areas. Honestly, to feel as if you’ve not shopped a third world market, go to the one out on 60. Three stars because those who work there try and are always nice and readily available. If it weren’t for them I’d give a one star review…do better.

This store is supposed to open at 8 AM. I arrived at 8:35 and it was closed. Other customers were waiting also and we were calling the store but there was no answer.

Seems a little understaffed. I was looking for safety pins. So first I called, and no one answered the phone. I was close by so I just went ahead and went over there. Looked up and down every aisle, including the food aisle thinking maybe it was placed somewhere strange. With no avail I ask the worker, who was at the register, who couldn't leave which wasn't her fault, but no one else was there to help. She then said she's new and wasn't exactly sure where. So back at it again I scoured the aisles once more, finally finding them on an incap near the sewing. Would have been nice for both her and I to have a few more people on hand to help out. The whole trip took 30 minutes just to pick up one package of safety pins. Because the line to check out was five people deep and like I said, she was the only one there working. This is in the middle of a day on a Tuesday by the way. Feels pretty ridiculous.

Sadly, the store is almost always understaffed and dirty. There are often boxes littering the aisles. While there are one or two employees who are pleasant, most of the time, the staff seems apathetic and you can tell they really don't want to be there.

Crowded & disorganized. Not very clean. The conveyor belt has been broken for months & the cash register is falling apart. The location of the carts & the ice machine makes it very hard to get walk on the sidewalk to go into the store. Sometimes there are things partially blocking the entrance which not only makes it hard for handicap customers, but is also a HUGE safety issue. Something needs to be done about the condition of this store.

My first stop in this location. Layout was different than I am accustomed to but the store appeared well stocked and the employees helpful. I am disappointed that Dollar General seems to have stopped carrying my favorite candy: spiced gum drops.

Today not so great. The things I stopped for were not there. There were lots of empty shelf spaces. Chatting with the staff it seems the stores lost their ability to order their own stock and Corporate is sending what they believe is needed. Bad move Dolgen Corp.

Same as all the others to me. Decent prices, but those cheap prices are a trade off of never enough labor in their stores. 3 check out lines, and there is usually just one worker with one register open with a line a mile long. It's not just this dollar general; all of them I've been to seem to be this way. Whoever did this new layout design for the stores should be fired. Trying to line up to check out now at register 2 or 3 is just a big clustered mess. They should have just kept it to 2 registers being able to form a line on both sides. Why they thought they needed the 3rd register is beyond me. I rarely see 2 registers open, and have never seen all 3 open ever at any dollar general.

Was visiting this store this morning and noticed first that the clerk Misty was not friendly towards myself or the other customers shopping today. On top of the poor customer service we all experienced the store isles where filthy and cluttered with empty boxes. I hope that Misty was just having an off day and that this poor attitude is not habitual because that attitude will affect the business I do here.

They just redone the store put new freezers in but the floor is still dangerous on one side of the store it’s caving in instead of fixing it they put metal plates down and bolted it down thinking that should fix the problem l would rather drive down to the new store down 60 the people who work there are very nice employees here need to go too school for people skills stood in line with 5 people in front of me the person at the cash register was so rude and unprofessional people tried to talk to her put was ignoring the customer it was like she just wanted us out of the store they opened the other register because there were people waiting for service the other cashier was even more rude than the other the customer was trying to talk to her but she was to busy on her cellphone instead l WILL never go back to that store anymore l will take my money to the new store

This is the filthiest store I have ever had the misfortune of shopping at. The floors were filthy, there was no order of items on shelves, some shelves were empty but had items laying on floor.I thought i had seen the worst of unclean stores in California but i was sooo wrong. Dollar General in Rogersville beat California by a landslide. I wouldn't have given any stars!!!

The worst dollar deneral I have ever been to. People quit so often there are days the store isnt open. Although i dont blame them for quitting. A couple of the managers are on some sort of power trip. With they way shopers are treated I would hate to see how the staff are treated.

This store is going to go downhill FAST with the store manager they have now. When you tell a customer & I quote, " If you don't like how I answer you don't come back." end quote, he should NEVER have a job anything to do with customer service especially retail.Today there was a "Higher up" manager talking with him telling what she wanted changed. When he saw me he pointed & whispered something in her ear & the looked at me. The poor excuse of a manager downs even have the guts to say it to my face.I will MAKE SURE I tell everyone I know about this !!!!

9 times out of 10 the staff is excellent. Usually they're pleasant, helpful, and respectful. You sometimes get a bad apple so to speak but its rare.

Store was clean and well stocked. The only issue I saw was the person in front of me was unable to pay with his phone. I had a card so no big deal.

Nice store. Has been around forever so it has some wear and tear, but overall it's got friendly people working there and you'll find plenty of stuff you're looking for there.

Very simple store. We just like being able to go there sometimes instead of our local market. Good place to just swing by on your way home or something and grab a snack or whatever little things you forgot to get at Walmart, lol!

People are nice, it is just super small and chaotic. Pricing is not always clear because sale tags are on items that do not qualify and don't have the amount of items other dollar general stores seem to have since they are bigger.

Rogersville Missouri location in Apple Market...the help turns over oh so quickly.Carts always all over the store in the way. Not only on stock days, Thursdays, but about anytime. Nobody can answer any questions about inventory, nothing can ever be requested to be brought in, nodda!!
