Traveling to the Black hills from southern Indiana, late in the day began a Google map search and found this hidden gem. Beautiful and clean little campground. There was one camper on a site when we arrived and looked some sites over. 4) 30 amp water, electric and sewer, several 50 amp water, elec and sewer. No one was around so we booked online, paid and settled in on site 14. Several sites in the back that look like we'll shaded electric and water. If you are self sufficient and looking for a great stop off for the night or the week you have to try All Amercan.Very close to I29 and gas and convenient store.

Stopped at this soon to be hidden gem over night. This poor town suffered a horrible flood in 2019-2020. Last year the new owners Kim & Kevin Johnson saw the potential and have opened this campground back up. We had the whole campground to ourselves with water and electricity hook up. They were so open about the campground and it’s history we had to support them even if it was just for the evening. Great location, right off the interstate with fuel. We look forward to the future and passing through to stop and stay here again to see what they turn this wonderful place into!

Overnight stay on the trip home. It was late and this one was the only one close once we decided we had to stop for the night. May 2023, right before the season opened for most RV Parks. We used the web site to reserve a site- they called us to be sure we pick the right spot- we didn't- very nice folks, they got us booked in a good spot- They had been working on getting the bathrooms open but only the men's bathroom was available, since we were the only ones there I didn't mind, but there was no water available in the bathroom to wash your hands. The owner told us the story of this site was famous for being under water for over 2 years before they bought it. It was still recovering form the flood and only had the barest of amenities, we did get electricity and a bathroom. Our RV developed a problem with the water so we had no access to water while we were there, luckily I was prepared with wet wipes and Hand Sanitizer. As this is the beginning of the season I'm sure more will become available as they get everything up and running. They are nice and I felt good being there.

On a hwy riddled with RV parks, this one is a hidden gem!! Grass instead of gravel. Lots of shade and surrounded by corn fields. We were literally the only people here tonight and enjoyed a lovely breeze and the smell of freshly cut grass. Low key and delightful.

We stayed one night in early April, 2022. The owner was there turning on the water - which worked fine. He said the brand new sewer is ready for use, but we didn’t bother hooking up for just one night. The 50 amp electric worked fine, except the new electrical boxes have a metal lip below the plug interfering with the cord. Someone had already bent the metal lip down on one of the sites , so we plugged in there. The flood of 2019 ruined the office and the bathrooms, so now there is just a single row of full hookups pull-through sites. It is surrounded by fields, so may be dusty if they are plowing or harvesting- like most places in Nebraska/ Iowa.

We really liked this campground. Do not let the current Google Streetview fool you. This is an active ongoing business. When we visited here in May 2023 we almost missed it being a operating campground because there was a huge weekend flea market covering the front 2/3rds of the property. There was still plenty of RV sites available with hookups in the back of the property. We were sorry to hear tents are not currently allowed. Also although the facilities are good they could stand a refresh/remodel. The relatively new owners said the plan future improvements and maybe allow tents in the future. When this happens this should be a Goggle five star campground.

stayed here for 2 weeks while visiting family. Very quiet. easy on/off the highway. Most everyone else who came while I was there were just overnighters. I think if this campground was restored to what it once was it would be very nice. There is no one on site so must pay online. Just an hour to St. Joseph and a real cute little town called brownville just 5 miles away with a great winery.

Received email confirmation of spot, arrived late and no information was posted in late-arrivals box. Bathrooms were dirty, make sure you bring your own toilet paper because the insects inside may have carried off the supplies. The pads are gravel and level which is one of the few pluses. The electricity does function, we didn’t hook up to the water, so read other reviews on that. The posts that hold the electric boxes are in a diminished state so hook up shore power with care. The pool isn’t operational, and only serves as a memory of a happier time for the ground. In short, as they have a monopoly on sites in this part of I29, there are few options, and no frills at this site, but, if you are looking for a level gravel pad, and a leaning electric post to hook up your shore power to, you won’t find another spot.

Turn around, don't camp here! Hard to find until you pass it and then have to find some place to turn around. No signage. Looks deserted, no office. Nobody was camped here when we arrived, now we know why. The site we were given had no electricity. Place is a dump next to a cornfield. We tried to contact someone using the number provided, but it is just a recording and you can't leave a message. We had to go find another RV camp. That was $45.00 we will never see.

Bathrooms have probably never been cleaned, infested with large spiders, very little toilet paper tall grass, no upkeep at all.Everything is disgusting and I am an outdoor girl.Frankly I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, I would not have stayed here for free!Restrooms: FrighteningDog-friendliness: No one around but what dogs have been here sure didn't have humans that followed the rulesPicnic area: Termite ate picnic bench or just rotted

**update**Maybe this is not a scam I’m not too sure . They did refund my money but if you are a campground then maybe add some lights & a sign to your RV park esp since it down a dark road that is closed down! Only giving two stars since we did get our money back but I have been on the road for a year & have never had this issue! Be aware, if you go down at dark you will prob miss your turn bc they only have their driveway mark with a tiny red reflector, then have to try & figure out how to turn your camper around on a dead end 2 lane road… ADD LIGHTS OR SOMETHINGGGG.This is a SCAM! Use to be an rv park now is just an open field but they are still taking peoples money! BC of this I am now having to sleep in a gas station Peking lot & they won’t answer their phone!!!!!!

Stayed there 3 nights ago. Had to pay on line. When we got there it was just about abandoned. The camp office swimming pool restrooms were all locked. The grounds have not been mowed in weeks. We were basically staying in a field with full hook up next to large cornfields. One other camper was staying there with us, someone else stopped and parked by the office and blew the horn and of course nobody is there. They did have one security camera up I guess to see who’s paying and not.For a quiet overnight it’s fine, but there is nothing there but hook ups.

Rustic. No park personnel. Site was gravel, level and long. No women's showers. Bathrooms were old with cobwebs and bugs in sinks and toilets but toilets and sinks worked.

The owner appears to be slowly updating things. I'd call it a good option for a quick overnight, not much to do nearby to make it a destination stay. We spent a few days here as we travel on the weekends and work on business days, and were completely alone for a portion of the time. There is no camp host, so you're on your own. Sites are level, had no issues with anything. It's a little closer to the highway than I'd like, but the noise isn't unbearable. Hopeful that the business has increased success.

Was really nice. Didn’t see the shower house. I would recommend mowing front entrance. But I would stay here again regardless.

Very private campsite that allows you to kick back and relax. Owners are recovering from flooding so shower and bathrooms not open which was clearly stated (very understandably). Lawn nicely mowed and sites ready for campers. Full hookups working well. Hopefully camping community will help support these owners and help them recover financially from the flood. This is a gem of a campground.

The owner shared prior to my arrival that the campground had been damaged by flooding and that they were trying to recover (3 stars for honesty). Owner seemed friendly on the phone but did not see them during my short time there. This is a no frills place to overnight. No dumpstation or sewer when I was there due to flood issues. This would be a great place when they recover. Water and electric worked

Although we never had the chance to stay here I would like to comment on how helpful the owners were when we needed to cancel our reservation. Kim was extremely responsive and took care of us quickly. We will definitely stay here the next time in this area.

We were traveling when we decided to stop for the night. They came as a recommendation from another camp ground near by. The owners were great and let us reserve and pay over the phone pretty late. Very nice people. Campground was decent.

This campground flooded in 2019 but now has new owners working on fixing and improving the campground. No facilities currently open but they provide water and electricity for a reasonable price. Nothing fancy but easy interstate access without much noise. We camped here in a Motorhome with tow in a pull thru site.

The owners are awesome. They have just acquired this place and are doing their best to fix it up and make it a wonderful campground again.Restrooms: The restrooms do have some issues however this is a campground that at one time had flooded and the folks who own it are renovating it and making it so much better it has showers everything is kept clean would recommend anyone using these.Dog-friendliness: Dogs are welcome however they do expect them to behave as all places do. We take our pooch anytime we go.Picnic area: They do have a covered picnic area that can be used by campers, they also have picnic tables that you can have for your site they have fire pits. Like I said before the owners are awesome they are willing to help out and do anything they can to make your stay wonderful

Very disappointing and highly unethical owners. Changed the rate after we stayed there then threatened to call police if we didn’t pay new rate (40pct higher than agreed rate). Stay away
