I have eaten here 3 times and it is very good.Our last time was on a Sunday evening and they had the Good Turn Daily Bluegrass Band. The band was fantastic.If you are riding the KATY trail this is a must stop.They have free wife for their customers, and the staff are quick and friendly. I'd go back.

The food is fresh, well prepared, and has always been very good, through dozens of visits. The choices vary, but are interesting, and touch the spectrum of choices. They tend to use freshly purchased ingredients, rather than the freezer. It is a nice environment, friendly staff, feels good to be there. It pays to make a reservation most times for the evening meals.

Campy, fun place to enjoy an IPA or one of the wines from nearby Les Bourgeois Winery. Enjoy all the memorabilia that takes you back in time. Live music on the weekend; we were treated to a classic rock jam session. Did I mention there's no cover?! I saw dishes coming out of the kitchen that didn't look like your typical bar fare. And the glass case of homemade desserts -- especially the Red Velvet Cake -- beckons you to make room.

First time my wife & I had ever been to Rocheport to eat. The General Store Cafe is simply outstanding. For lunch we each had the quiche special that came with a strawberry walnut salad. The size of the quiche about floored us when it came out. It was over the wall "delicious". The salad was equally outstanding & very good. We had enough left over for our dinner when we got to our B & B in Arrow Rock

The atmosphere was pleasant and the food was fantastic! I had the sesame chicken and it was very good. My husband had salmon cakes and they were even better. I can't wait to go back.

So much atmosphere. Desserts and entrees are fabulous. Rocheport is such a unique place. This local café is a must if you're in town. My turkey quesadilla was yummy. Loved the sweet sauce.Vegetarian options: Great options for vegetarians.

I was blown away! I am picky and this is absolutely the best food I have ever eaten. I ordered the mushroom ravioli and I was so, so happy with it. I can't wait to go back again. The atmosphere is hometown and casual. I did not expect this kind of experience. Amazing!

Nice place, has food and ice cream. A couple blocks off the Katy Trail, when you take the detour route, you go right past it. It's right next door to the Post Office.

Arrived for Brunch on a Sunday at 9:30 am; was told that they couldn't seat us until 11:30 am. While I could understand this if they are busy... but there was no one else waiting for a table. Very odd and off-putting experience overall.We have eaten lunch here before and recieved decent food.Will probably not make the drive back since its out of our way.

My boyfriend and I walked in on a Saturday afternoon. There were only two tables occupied. We were very rudely asked if we had reservations. The website says nothing about reservations. I looked around at the empty room. My boyfriend asked if we could just get a cold drink. She said yes, again, rudely. I said forget it and walked out. Won’t be back.

Amazing service, great atmosphere, and the most delicious food! I had the breakfast panini and my husband had the Italian scramble. We left about 30 minutes ago and we're still talking about how outstanding the food was.

Surprisingly unfriendly to a cyclist passing thru (445 pm on a Saturday in July?)with $in his pocket.I’m trying to help you redeem impetus for the above review… this time: late October… same cyclist passing thru… stops for a drink and a bite… alas, the concept of “service” continues to elude the staff. I placed an order and waited out front (where I told them I’d be) for 20 min or so… no food or drink showed up… when I inquired, the order was ne’er sent to the kitchen! In fairness, they did ask to make my order, and even no-charge me… but I just couldn’t bring myself to accept… no longer able to believe that I was as important as the locals in this li’l burg….c’est la vie - I’m sure I can find some refreshments somewhere ‘round here.

We called 2x to make reservation and confirm. Did not have our reservation in the system. Susan the waitress tried to make it right and she did. We had a lovely dinner and she was very accommodating. Upon leaving another waitress apologized to one of our party guests. When our party guest suggested she go outside and apologize to the one that made our reservation she and the cook made a scene. It was a very disappointing ending to an otherwise lovely evening. We were very disappointed. We have been visiting Rocheport for several years and it was very disappointing to have a negative experience.

My husband and i went here for lunch today. The gentleman that waited on us was hilarious and so nice. The food was excellent!! I had the panini and he had the pretzel bun sandwich. We look forward to going back and trying something else!

Biscuits and Gravy were delicious. The Sage is from their own garden.🌱The building is Gorgeous! Wonderful atmosphere. Going back to try something else. Saw they had gluten free muffins. Definitely trying those next time!😋

What a vibe. The place on the trail was packed. The owner of the art studio across the street suggested we try this place.The older staff were a peach to be waited on.The food was good.The AC was nice.I heard the desserts are to die for.
