Gorgeous location with the Missouri River on one side and impressive bluffs on the other. The town of Rocheport offers several dining options, and The Meriwether Cafe offered great food and excellent service!

The area around this trailhead is really nice and an interesting place to visit. There are good restroom facilities here, in the city hall building. There is a good restaurant with a large patio very close by.

Beautiful stroll between Rocheport and the new Rocheport bridge, but beware of bees! I was stung twice on the morning of September 26 as was another gentleman. Thankfully, neither of us was allergic. Arrived on an abnormally warm February day. Easy to find with a surplus of Parking.Most Peaceful and Stunning trail I've been on in awhile. Restroom/water fountain, Friendly Fellow hikers with plenty of Space to navigate, get down to the river, up in the hills or up to Scenic Winery/Bistro!Area is a must do!

We make a yearly trip to Rocheport, Missouri, and always stay at The School House Bed & Breakfast. Great fun on the Katy Trail with our bikes.

Late fall the Katy Trail offers a great ride, beauty, and peace. Well maintained, clearly marked, 240 miles of natural beauty. Many delightful towns & stops along the way. Plenty of rest areas too.Playground: The town of Rocheport has a perm right of the trail and restrooms not far.

Beautiful section of the trail. Restrooms were in good order. Trail in good repair. Going East out of Rocheport is my favorite section and one of the most scenic in my opinion.

The tunnel was very cool. My husband is in a wheelchair ♿️ and the path was gravel so it made it a bit tough to push him but it was worth every bit of sweat lol.

I can't recommend spending the night in Rocheport, as everything is closed by 4PM. If you want dinner, or anything after 4PM, keep on moving down the trail. It is a fine stop for lunch while biking on the Katy trail, but nothing more. The trail that goes over the tunnel is nice, but only takes 10 minutes to hike up and back down.

Trail is clean . Great for hiking or biking . Well taken care of. Not a difficult trail to traverse. Lewis and Clark historic points. Many trees for shade.

Great trailhead. Historic City of Rocheport has several events going on especially during spring, summer & fall, & during holiday season. Flush toilets are usually open & supplied with paper. Very pretty stretch of the trail

One of my favorite places on the KATY trail. Check out the tunnel on your way to Boonville. Great ride the section between mile 180 and 182 is spectacular.

This is a perfect place to take your family during the pandemic. There is bike rental, breakfast restaurant, restrooms, parking. Amazing views of the Mississippi river and nice nature
