This place had a real nice bar vibe. We went twice. Once just for drinks and a second time for dinner. Both experiences were lovely. We sat outside for drinks and inside for dinner. We also had different servers each time and they were both amazing! The food was fantastic and there were good portions! I will definitely go back next time we visit the area!

We always have a good time when we’re here. The staff are usually on top of it, especially during busy times. They sometimes have live music and the food is quite yummy. Their sandwiches are good and we really love the chicken queso. They have larger portions for salads and they’ve got a great bartender. Just know that kids are allowed in this bar and sometimes parents let them roam around because the pool is next to it.Parking: The parking lot is slanted and curved so it can be difficult to find parking but there is an additional lower lot if needed.

This is such a fun place to listen to live music on Big Cedar property. Clay does a phenomenal job. It is especially good when he is joined by the fiddle and bass player. They are all phenols l musicians! The Apple bomb is my favorite cocktail there. I did lower my stars due to it taking forever to get served—it’s apparent they are short staffed and the place is always packed. The food menu is really limited so it may not have enough variety for some people. The atmosphere is a blast though!Kid-friendliness: It’s a bar atmosphere…but you can bring kids.

Had the most amazing experience here. The food was delicious and the entertainment was so funny! Our waiter, Taylor, was extremely polite and interacted with us a lot. He made a lot of jokes and recommended so many great dishes for us. He made my experience here 10 times better. I got the "smokehouse burger" with sweet potato fries for my meal. The fries were amazing and the burger was pretty good as well. For some dessert, Taylor recommended the red velvet cake. IT WAS SO GOOD. Very rich and filling, worth the price 100%. The entertainer sang great music and interacted with the audience, making jokes and taking song requests. I absolutely love the vibes of this place. Would go back over and over again if I wasn't here on vacation. Highly recommend!!

Great food, server was personable and sweet. The musician was great slightly loud for my preference. But he talked and got to know the group of people there. Parking was packed, food more expensive than what were use to. $88 for the 2 of us. Prime rib was awesome and and with the veggies and mashed potatoes. Husband had the ribs he enjoyed them.

Always a favorite stop when at Big Cedar. A good selection of food, a fun atmosphere, and great service. This stop was no different as we had an early dinner with friends. My first time with fish tacos here and they were very good. Just like a typical weekday evening, we could have sold our table as it was standing room only when we left. The nice ladies who took our table even kidded us about it on the way out.

Came here for the food because we arrived late and it was the only establishment serving on site. Stayed for the entertainment! So clearly they were understaffed, and so I'll give you an honest experience. Later at night seems to be a 'Sit yourself down wherever there is a spot, and we'll get to you,' situation. It is a bar atmosphere after all. After a hot second, we had our table cleaned, food order taken, and drinks in hand, all the while listening to the entertainer sing. Forgive me for not knowing his name, but it's Cowboy something. All I can tell you is what a way to close out an evening! (He is really good and should check him out on the nights that he performs. )For the food.... I ordered the prime rib sandwich with a house salad. The wife ordered a hamburger with potato soup. I can tell you my sandwich was pretty delicious. The onions and mushrooms were really carmelized. and that was some good shaved prime rib on top of that. I believe there was supposed to be a horseradish cream. but it was either non- existent, or forgotten. Either way, the sandwich didn't need it. The house salad with poppyseed dressing was an amazing suprise! I love the blend of the bitter baby greens, mixed with goat cheese, pecans, and that dressing! My wife's burger was cooked to order on temperature, which was cooked right! She enjoyed that very much. And the potato soup which we will probably assume that was holding all night, was not that memorable. I will say that we wanted to try the fries, but we were told that the fryers went down and couldn't order anything fried. And then 20 minutes later, other tables were recieving fries. Just seems odd.Overall though, the experience was really good! After the crazy day of traveling that my wife and I had. You felt like you were at a pub, eating good food, with friends!

Fantastic place to eat & listen to live country music from 8 to 10 ish..The servers are 2nd to none .You won't find a better place to spend an evening !!!!Wheelchair accessibility: A few handicap spaces close to entrance.Can enter up front or around rear. ( recommend around back )

It's was my first time. The reservation process was easy. The drive in to Big Cedar is beautiful at sunset. We didn't have to wait. The food was delicious. The waitress was attentive without being over bearing. The price was reasonable for the quality of food. Over all we will definitely be going back. Also, get the cheesecake. It's so worth it!!

My husband and I had drinks and an appetizer here last night. The drinks were delicious, and the bbq nachos were loaded with bbq and flavor, plenty for several to share. We sat at the bar and near where the wait staff picked up drinks. What surprised me after being around other places here at Big Cedar where everyone is friendly is that none of the wait staff ever spoke other than the bartender, and she wasn’t very friendly. When we walked in, we weren’t sure if we should seat ourselves or wait. We waited a few minutes and no one ever said anything, and a waitress even walked right by us. It felt like we were not welcome. We finally just sat at the bar. One bright asset is the decor- it’s all buzzards and due to the legend of the buzzards that flew out of the local Devil’s Pool. Supposed to have live music, however they weren’t starting until 8:45pm last night. It would be worth going back in warm weather and sitting outside, otherwise I doubt we will go back.

The food was amazing! Service was great! Musics was great! We came here on several different occasions and sat at the bar. We were served by the best waiter ever! Ashley was literally the best bartender I ever had! Before I could even ask for anything she was already on top of it! I wish she was here in Texas! She was amazing! Can’t wait to come back!

We went for an early light dinner of just soups and salads. They were so large and delicious, we ordered our carrot cake dessert to go. Jarod was our terrific server, always checking on us and making sure we were pleased with everything. Really great environment, just wish we could have stayed later for the live entertainment, but we have a very early departure in the morning from the lodge

Great atmosphere in an original hunting lodge with a gorgeous backdrop of the Ozark Mountains. Fabulous scenery for walking around, taking pics. A gorgeous waterfall and swinging bridge. The food was terrific. The auto sphere was awesome.. reminded me of basspro. The comedian was hilarious. The biggest complaint was disorganization. We waited 1.5 hours to get a table, where the host stood people couldn't get in or out of the door. We finally got sat and got asked to sit with an intoxicated obnoxious couple that were rude to us and staff. Yes we sat at the same table as them and it was awkward, while we ordered dinner and ate. We came here on our anniversary meal and walked out like (what just happened) but I can't complain about the food. The prime rib was absolutely amazing. Just all together they need to come up with a better plan to figure out the sitting arrangements and better area for the host to take names.. you'll understand when you go.

We loved this place. Lively. Great food. I ordered the Devil's House salad twice on this trip. Blueberry Poppyseed dressing is YUMMY! Good burgers, too. Live music after 8:30 p.m. Be sure to take a little walk to see the bridge and Devil's Pool right outside the door.
