We spent 8 weeks here in Jan & Feb (2024) to be a little warmer than Northern IL. We have been doing this now for a few years. The resort is top notch, the staff is wonderful too. Everyone treats us like a king and queen. This is definitely our favorite Bluegreen Resort so far.

We loved it! Husband got to play golf on a beautiful course. My daughter and I had a great time at Fun Mountain and got our nails done at the spa.

First time visiting the Wilderness Club. We are really enjoying ourselves. Has everything you need and would want to do in one spot. Simply beautiful right now with everything in bloom. One con, you can hear ALL the footsteps in the room above. They jiggle and rattle everything. Only bothersome in the morning since the people above are early risers and we are not. Definitely try to get a top floor, but really a nice place. Would definitely come back.

Time shares can be a good option, but make sure you think it through before buying into it. And it’s not for everyone. We sat through the presentation and Bluegreen is better than most other Timeshares, you get 12,000 points a year that you can use at a lot of resorts/ hotel. The average night is around 500 points depending on during the week or on the weekend which is more. You still have to still pay the yearly maintenance fee which is around $1400 a year.

We had a great stay in a King Studio condo, as we rented through VRBO. The private balcony and spacious room were very nice. The grounds are adjoining Big Cedar Lodge and guests have full access to all amenities on the amazon property. Definitely recommend for families or couples, you won’t be disappointed.

Love this place. Rooms were large and really clean. It had everything you needed except the food. Lol. Beds were very comfortable. Checking in was easy enough. It was kinda hard finding your way around the first day but after that it was ok.

Classifications as an RCI member visiting: Big Cedar is it's own entity & has allowed Blue Green Wilderness (timeshare condos/cabins) To partner with them on their property for an extra $5 per day per unit to use their nice facilities which includes (pool towels on site for Lazy river, indoor pool, restaurants, room service, & 24 hr shuttle service around the resort etc) The Big Cedar owners have the best location as expected on the property with cabins near lake. BGrn cabins do not view lake (except like maybe 8 as seen in map) and not all the condos have a view of the lake. The grounds are lovely and our studio condo with sleeper sofa adequate for 2. For 2 couples it's VERY close quarters. The partial kitchen with 2 burner stove, microwave, mini frig, toaster, blender, & kitchen supplies was what we needed for basic quick meals. They provide 3 rolls T.P., 2 rolls paper towels, dish soap, and FREE SMALL washer/dryer Room on the 4th floor of SOME not all condos. Suggestions to bring: hand soap, ziplock bags, salt & pepper, a cooler if you want lots of drinks on ice, & Tide pods. TIPS: If you are bringing a boat The Bent Hook Marina is part of the resort & offers Covered boat slips for your boat $25 a night. The 2 boat ramps are not convenient to be trying to load your boat in-and-out every day. So save some extra money and use this nice perk in a safe location and easy walk or shuttle ride right down to your boat. You can buy your daily fishing license at the Marina also $7 per day . Ask for room on top floor to get a lake view & alleviate noise! Ask for room away from elevators as they have trash/recycle bins right outside that area & it's VERY NOISY all the time with guests & staff slamming wooden lids. Try the room service pizza! Very good! You'd pay the extra fees in tips if going to a restaurant. The Buzzards Bar is a fun place to go for dinner & enjoy their nightly live music performamces. Don't forget to try the devil's pool loaded brownie oh my ! Don't miss out on the Top of the Rock golf cart tour & HUGE cultural museum!! It's worth the $32 per person TRUST me. I was skeptical. Great food at Arnies up there too! Staff is all wonderful & friendly too. Have a Fun stay!

My wife and I checked in at Big Cedar Wilderness Timeshares. Check in was friendly and easy. But then they said we had to go to VIP customer service to get our parking pass. The guy behind the counter asked us if we were interested in doing the timeshare tour the next day and offered us $200 Mastercards as a gift. Then he asked us if we were single ladies. We said no and that we were married. He said, “Nevermind, you’re not qualified for the tour.” Then he threw our wrist bands and parking pass across the counter and said, “Bye.” It was honestly hurtful and confusing.

Amazing destination! Great place to relax and enjoy nature and the family. Spacious rooms with great decor. Kids loved the indoor pool and hot tub on a cold winter day.

The check in was easy and social distanced. However, the employee only checked us into one room instead of our 2nd one so when I got to the room I panicked. Called and was transferred to manager and he discovered she had only checked us into half! Shew! Thank you.

We did this many years ago at same place and it was just as wonderful as it was before! We upgraded the trip to 1 bedroom at Viney creek villa, comfy beds, big jacuzzi tub, giant shower, 2 TVs, kitchen with everything I needed.... only negative thing was a very unrealistic check out time! If we were a family on a vacation or a couple on romantic long weekend, or as we were a working couple that needed some destress time....10 am is not a good check out time! We should be able to sleep in and enjoy a good relaxing breakfast! We shouldn't have to set an alarm to check out while on vacation!!!! At least give us till 11 am.... you can't even check in until after 4pm.... plenty of time to get room clean for the next guest. But everything else was great! Will stay as many times as possible!!

First time staying here... we enjoyed the peace and quiet, and also being fairly close to the Branson attractions. It's a beautiful resort!

We went in for our preview thinking "no way, we are not buying a timeshare." and walked out after buying said timeshare! The people that work there are amazing at working with you on price and how to best fit it in your budget! Also, amazing presentation that accurately described this timeshare and how it is wayyyy different than other timeshares! I'm very excited and proud to be a Bluegreen Timeshare Owner!

I love Bluegreen! Big Cedar, Paradise Point and Falls Village are all special to me in their own unique way!!! There's so much to do right on the grounds at Big Cedar, one doesn't need to leave for food and entertainment! Paradise Point is growing by leaps and bounds, a place to get away! And Falls Village is so close to Branson, so much to do and see!!! Home away from home several times a year~

The area is beautiful! The staff is friendly however the rooms are filthy! Dusty and floors haven’t been mopped EVER! Socks or bare feet black in minutes! Dead bugs that have been there for quite some time are proof no one mops or vacuums! Walls and floors are thin as paper! We had a family of elephants staying above us! So bad we had to call security every day!BlueGreen bragged about how wonderful this place is but it’s just another one of their lies! We haven’t stayed at a BlueGreen property yet that has fulfilled the promises they give! If you’re not a BlueGreen owner don’t become one! It’s the biggest mistake we’ve ever made.

This was a timeshare visit. I did not know what a timeshare was at the time but was assured it was a 3-day getaway for a special price, I just didn't know. She said a special promotional. The young lady who sold the preview said we would be on the resort, No!! We were put up in a hotel that did not meet our expectations even though they were very kind. The salesman also was outstanding, nevertheless it left a bad taste because I felt deceived. The property is amazing, if you can afford it.

We stayed at the Big Cedar Lodge in Brason, MO. The whole set up was pretty nice, besides the fact that the walls had to be paper thin. You could hear the people outside on the balcony and in the hallways like they were in your room. The floors also seemed like they were repurposed from a 150 year old building. You could easily hear the people on the floor above like they were an 800 sasquatch. We stayed in a room set up like a studio apartment. The view was gorgeous, though. The biggest problem my wife and I had with the place was the timeshare presentation. Upon check-in, they offered us $200($100 mastercard giftcard and $100 in "big cedar bucks") to listen to their spiel, so we said ok. We were told that the whole thing, including the tour, would be somewhere in the neighborhood of 2 hours. It ended up being almost twice that long. We didn't go in with any intention of purchasing a timeshare, but towards the end, my wife was almost convinced. We still said no... 3 different times and they were still persistant. They started off with the highest downpayment and monthly payment and eventually wound up at the absolute lowest, which was still very expensive for something you didn't even end up owning yourself. All in all, not a horrific experience, but I don't know if we'll ever do it again. I'd honestly rather find an airbnb instead.Just be forewarned and don't say I didn't tell you.

Place is beautiful ..... But our rooms were dirty and was told it was probably due to the fact that we weren't owners of the time share yet!!! That's total bull....that's not how you get people to buy a time share ! Food left all over the dishes and flat ware... Hairs on the bed under the pillows, floors still with dirt on them and dust everywhere
