What a awesome course with great views. Being frequent shooters we wanted a change and took a little vacation. Talk about awesome prices we in line with any other facility and ammo price was very reasonable and not gouging like most. We shot the sporting clays course and the 5 stand and had a great time. Course was easy yet challenging on both. GetThe only complaint we had was with other shooters and course etiquette, we had a group of 12 shooters than has obviously never tried shooting a course or new to firearms in general that wouldn’t let faster shooting groups go ahead of them and severely bottle necked the stations. This wasn’t the facilities fault in anyway shape or form, just rudeness of others.

This was an excellent time. The food we had catered was great, and the shooting was a blast. The cars had plenty of parking. Even got my lady evolved to control the skeet throwing machines

We just left our novice training session. So fun for two city people who have never shot a gun before today. Instructor Logan was very patient with our excitement and knowledgeable on what to do correctly when shooting a shot gun. We shot at wobble traps with a 20 gauge and 12 gauge shotguns. Logan made sure we were careful to keep from having any bad habits and protection from recoil. We will definitely go back. And, recommend others to try this.

This was amazing and a must do! First timers 2 boys - 12 and 15 years old, they were shooting and hitting targets right away. The instructors very impressive and professional. We went in the rain and still had the best time, worth every penny - definitely want to go again.

We were here for a married couples retreat and everyone decided to come to the shooting range. This is the first time I have shot a gun. It was an amazing wonderful 1st time experience for me! Top notch facility. Very friendly staff. Love that you can drive the golf cart around to various shooting post. We will definitely be back next time we are in Branson.

This experience was literally perfect. I’ve never shot a gun before, and I’m left handed, so it was probably a little difficult to teach me, but Brad our instructor was awesome. I couldn’t be happier with this experience. I shot more clays than my family members so Brad hooked me up with some Bass Pro hats on the house. 5 STARS!

I want to thank the staff of the Bass Pro Shops Shooting Academy for making my first time shooting a shotgun a fantastic experience. The couples shooting course was the best. Kennedy is a great teacher. He was patient and was able to explain in a simple easy to understand way how to hold the shotgun, aim the gun and pull the trigger so that I would have the best chance of hitting my targets.The staff also went out of their way to accommodate us even with all the construction going on in the building of their entertainment venue Thunder Ridge Nature Arena. A few days later, They found a way to give my husband and I the opportunity to shoot on the sporting clays course. We can't wait to come back next year. To all the Shooting Academy staff, thank you so much for helping to make our vacation memorable. I'll be practicing.

We did a private lesson with Kennedy and it was money well spent! I highly recommend it, especially if you are rusty or have new shooters. My daughter was nervous when she started, he put her at ease and made it fun for the whole family.

Todd was an awesome instructor, very patient, and kind. With his guidance, all three of my boys were able to learn new skills and gain confidence shooting. So much fun to see them learn clay shooting in such a picturesque environment.

I went with a group of people for a bachelorette party and it was wonderful! The staff was great! We got the pleasure of getting Kennedy as our instructor! He was wonderful! He was very friendly, knowledgeable, funny and made the experience amazing for our group! Highly recommend going!

The Shooting Academy is open but there is a massive construction project underway, and some sections are closed. There are 20+ dump trucks plus civil works equipment all around each section with construction workers within range of certain courses - and dust everywhere. For all practical purposes, you cannot use the Academy. Since BPS and the Academy see no reason to inform patrons about this before they book lodging at Big Cedar, I’m notifying you with this post.

We took our 10 year old son who has been shooting BB and pellet gun for a few years now. We signed him up to shoot air riffles but the instructor Dakota switched him to shooting shot gun. Dakota was amazing with our son in teaching him how to shoot a shot gun and helping our son shoot clay pigeons for the first time. Dakota even took our son from wobble trap to sporting clay. Thank you Dakota our son enjoyed the experience. Highly recommended!

Bass Pro Shooting Academy was the best ever experience for me. Never shot any type of a gun before but Mandi who greeted us as we walked in explained things to me and made me feel at ease to where I decided to go ahead and give it a try so she set me up with everything I needed and gave instructions and sent me on my way, with the help of my husband who has shot sporting clays before I did my first try, what an experience!!! I am hooked and I have to give a big shout out and Thank-you to Mandi!!! She was awesome and really made me feel at ease and gave me confidence and without her instruction and knowledge I probably would of never have done this so Thank-you Mandi and Bass Pro Shooting Academy!!!

You missed out if you didn't book this after staying at Big Cedar Lodge! Choose skeet shooting or clay pigeon shooting. Bass Pro supply the guns and ammo. I'd highly recommend to book a shooting event here!
