Lowes Republic paint counter is always helpful! I am painting one of my rooms and needed more essentials. They always get me right. I even came back the second day, and the young spotted and asked me about my project and did the items from the day before work.

Worst experience ever getting my refrigerator. I went into the store, bought the refrigerator which was a Midea, with a warranty. I paid for delivery the next day. The drivers dropped off the box and left. I waited until my significant other was home from work, so it was a few hours later to open it and move it into the house. We opened it and it was the wrong refrigerator and one that was about $1,000 cheaper than the one I originally purchased. I called the number they gave me if I had any issues and told them what happened. The woman I spoke to on the phone was rude and told me she would have to call me back with my options. There are no options at this point, you brought me the wrong product and I want the one I paid for. She called me back about two hours later and told me that her supervisor said I can just keep the refrigerator they dropped off and they would discount me. I said absolutely not, I want the product I purchased and spent three weeks deciding on. Then she put me on hold again for another 30 minutes and said okay, we will be able to get it to you in a few days but tried to push at me again to just keep the Whirlpool they dropped off. I kept telling her no and that I paid for a Lamborghini and they dropped off a Honda and I’m just SOL? No. Also she was probably the most rude person I have ever had the pleasure of speaking with.The next morning I decided to call and speak to a supervisor. This new lady I spoke to on the phone told me there would be nothing a supervisor couldn’t do that she could and was running me around to avoid speaking to one. She looked up my account and said that they plan to delivery it and proceeded to ask me for my card number for a delivery fee. I said no I already paid for the delivery fee and your drivers and warehouse delivered me the wrong product, so at this point it is on you guys, not me! I still wanted a supervisor to let them know this situation because spending $2,000 on a refrigerator or any household appliance isn’t just buying some $20 gift off Amazon and getting the wrong color. After being on hold for 45 minutes, I spoke to a supervisors who basically did nothing. She just kept saying sorry and that my product is planned to be delivered.When the delivery drivers got here, days later after dropping off the wrong refrigerator, the driver said very sarcastically, “would you like me to open the box so you can see that it’s your fridge?”After dealing with all this, the run around, the rude associates and them trying to push me to keep a product I didn’t purchase, I called customer service and they submitted a case and told me to call back if I didn’t hear anything in two days.It’s been two weeks and no one has contacted me and when I try to contact them, I’m on hold forever.I will never purchase anything from Lowe’s again, which sucks because it’s down the road in my town. I’ll spend the extra time, money and gas and go to Home Depot in the next town over.

I placed a pickup order and received an email yesterday stating that it was ready. I came today to pick it up and it wasn't ready. I was waiting for it over 2 hours. In the meantime I got a text saying I had picked the order up. This has happened to me here before. The store staff and manager were helpful once I complained and I know they were busy and doing their best but there's something broken with the process.

Spent an entire summer at Lowe’s everyday while remodeling my house. If I needed any help or questions, they were always ready to help. Customer service counter was always great with exchanges and online order pick ups. We also ordered our countertops from lowes and it was cheaper than the local granite shop in Ozark for product and installation. I’m in love the countertops we got!

I bought over 3000 dollars worth of appliances to be delivered Tuesday when Tuesday day came they said they came to the wrong address when I gave them the correct one they said they couldn't do it that day and said they would do it Friday!! So Friday comes around they said they are loaded and one there way 9 hours later he calls and said he worked to manny hours it will be next Tuesday. No sign of them I'm starting to feel scammed!!

I left Menards frustrated. I couldn't get any help. A HUGE THANK YOU to Jon at Lowe's. I walked in with my paper and within seconds he answered my questions and helped me find what I needed. I will NEVER go back to Menards. They were awful and over priced. From now on always @Lowe's.

6 months ago we bought a house in Republic. So needless to say we have had to purchase a bunch of home appliances and the like. In this time we have bought a new refrigerator, washer/dryer and many other smaller items from lowes. It was then time to buy a new refrigerator water filter. These are around $55 with tax. Went into lowes and the sales guy pointed out thr filter we needed...turns out it was not the correct item. Lowes would not take it back or exchange it because the plastic that was around the filter was off at the top which was the way it was in the package to start with but said they couldnt resell it that way. They wanted us to buy another $55 filter. Well of course they did after we have already spent $5000 in the past 6 months. Dealing with vendors myself in the past, the vendor, regardless of packaging will replace that for lowes....ask walmart! This is a pathetic move on lowes part in my opinion especially after spending all the money we have there in the immediate past and with the sales person telling us this is the filter you need..there is always home depot which was $2 cheaper on the filters to start with. After writing the review...lowes corporate contacted me and they did take the water filter back. Kudos to lowes for paying attention to the reviews and making this right! Thank you!!

BBB review of 1.12My experience has been awful!First they delivered THE WRONG CARPET to be installed. Their solution was just to cancel my installation and reschedule it for 2 WEEKS! It was a in stock carpet. I said no I am moving tomorrow you have to have it in other local stores. It took me driving in to the store to make them understand. Solution… My husband was going to have to drive 45 mile in the rain and get our carpet. Luckily the installers with a van offered to go get it since they didn’t have anything else to do. It was a nightmare to get installed. They did give me half off our carpet for their error. So I do have to give them credit for that.Second they set up a delivery for my refrigerator for a Sunday from 8-8. I stayed at home the entire day and no fridge. Come to find out THEY DON’T DO DELIVERIES ON SUNDAYS!!!! So I had to take a day off to have it delivered. And when they did deliver it they did not bring the ice maker connection. They wanted me to go get the cord that I had already ordered and paid for and install it myself. Or take the next day off and have them come do it. I put my foot down on that and said not happening. They finally did get it installed that night.Now the washing machine that I had delivered 37 days ago is broken. Completely destroyed our clothes. All I am given as help are 1-800 numbers. With in the last year we have bought carpet for 2 homes, 2 refrigerators, a washer and dryer, countless gallons of paint and supplies. We have spent THOUSANDS with them and it has been a struggle the whole way! Buyer beware!!!! I’d go small business if you can!!!!!!!!!! Should have done that myself but I have learned a lesson!

The Paint department offers a wide variety of beautiful shades of colors, especially blue, blue-green, and green. My stepmother and father plan to move us to some new house soon, and I'm thinking about painting some of the walls some of the blues and greens. What beautiful colors they are.

Place is a joke. Spent the money to buy a pellet smoker online once I’m there to pick it up they won’t let me have my already paid for smoker since it wasn’t assembled yet and they couldn’t figure out how to cancel the free assembly. Order was canceled and business was lost. Please do better by training your employees and lower level managers with the knowledge of how the system works so they can actually give customers the service they deserve

I purchased a water softener March 15th after it was delivered my husband had to go work out of town. Turns out after some research we didn’t have the electrical to handle it and it was too complicated to install and it needed to be returned. We hadn’t even taken it out of the box, Btw That thing is HEAVY. I’m a small women and couldn’t pick it up if I tried so by the time my husband who was able to pick it up and load it into his truck came back into town from working out of state it was about 5 weeks past 90 day return policy. When we came in to do the return Samantha tried helping us but was not able to process the return since it needed to be done by a manager. Both boxes hadn’t been opened and still had the packaging slip attached. She tried having the assistant manager on duty do it and he explained that he can not return it and told us it was 3 months past the return policy which was weird because it clearly said March 15th. He told us we could come back in the morning again (that thing is HEAVY) and talk to a different manager but he couldn’t guarantee anyone could help. We were fine with it and about to leave but SAMANTHA came back and let me tell you that lady should be running the place!!!! I totally understand that stores have policies for a reason but customer service is definitely a priority and she put that FIRST, she actually understood the situation, empathized with us and gave us the customer service that Lowe’s used to have, it was extremely refreshing and very much appreciated ! She processed the return right then and there with a professional and kind attitude, and let me tell you that “assistant manager” stormed off FUMING…. Kinda weird but SAMANTHA THANK YOU!!! You deserve a promotion.

Nightmare experience trying to buy/install our storm door. What was supposed to be a couple of weeks project has turned into 2, almost 3 months. We will never be purchasing anything like this ever again from here. Very disappointed

I really want to give a shout out to my heroes Paula and Freddy. We had a weird mix up with the new next day delivery, and Paula did everything she could to help us get our lumber. Then Freddy got it to us as a extra stop, on a Saturday, man I really appreciate it!

It’s not the Lowes it was a few years. Prices have gone out of sight, not as much variety , customer service in installation is not as good, no sales anymore worth taking advantage of. I have shopped there for years and it was my go to place but now I go to Menards almost as much. So sorry that it has changed but I guess the times have changed to. I am on a limited income so have to go where I can afford.

Purchased a gallon of paint took back the next day because it was so thin was told by assistant manager they do not refund for paint. I was so mad told him to keep the paint. After returning to my car and making a phone call I found out that paint does have a 30 day return policy he said how do I know you haven't painted a room with it I said open it it's full. Long story short I finally did get a refund but they definitely lost a customer after being treated like I was. I was told he is a new assistant manager at the Republic MO location. Corporate needs to educate there Manager's on return policy and customer service.

I haven't done too much business at this location, usually we're using the ones around Springfield. I was having kind of a blue morning with some problems getting things rolling at work everything was taken forever with no sign of looking up when I got to Lowe's and fortunately walked up to Julie's counter. Her sweet disposition totally changed my mood, putting a different spin on my day. She was happy to see me, genuinely, we are complete strangers but she treated me like she knew me which was really nice. In my opinion, the best customer service representatives treat customers like friends. I don't have to question whether or not she's a valued employee here. I know she is, from the way she acted. I can't think of any business that wouldn't want a customer-centric guru such as she. I just hope she's getting paid what a one in a million employee deserves to be paid. Julie, thank you for making my day! I wish you the best and this is one five star review Lowe's would not be getting without the asset that is you! Sorry I seem to be gushing but I believe but exemplary actions deserve extraordinary gratitude!

We have given a ton of business to Lowe's over the last few years. We've been doing a lot of home renovations and they are our go-to. We have NOT unfortunately always been pleased with our customer service.We ordered a shower for our basement the week before Christmas. The tub was in stock to take home that day, but the wall surround had to be ordered, and we were told it would be in the next day. We came back the next day with a trailer and were told the truck didn't arrive as scheduled. We were assured it would arrive the following Monday. However, again, we showed up, our paid-for product was not available. We had had a heck of a time getting anyone to help us with this problem up until then, but that day, we had the pleasure of meeting Hannah. She was very apologetic and helpful. We didn't know, but we had spoken with her on the phone before regarding this product, she recognized our name and said she wasn't sure why it hadn't arrived, but she would look into it. After a few minutes, she found out that there was an issue with the manufacturer, and while they were saying it would show up, they weren't fulfilling the shipment. She did some digging and found it at a different store to have it shipped for us. We came back again to make some returns, of course without the trailer, but Hannah was at the appliance desk, saw us walking up to ask about it, and told us she was pretty sure it had come in. She pulled the product and set it aside at customer service to pick up when we had a trailer.Through what has been a frustrating situation, Hannah in appliances has been extremely helpful. She was attentive and friendly. Thank you so much, Hannah!

Lowes in Republic, Ryan in the tool section, I have never had anyone from that store to help us like he did. I told him that was the best customer service we have ever had. Go to that store ask for Ryan, such an amazing person, and I hope this realizes this. Just wanted to put a good review on this man out there.
