I have used Bark Avenue several times now and every time I board them, I leave knowing they are getting the best care and attention by staff who are as compassionate with my pets as they are with their own! Highly recommend Bark Avenue for your boarding, day care, and grooming needs!

After my first visit I thought my dog’s cut looked a little sloppy and like it was done by an amateur. I decided to give them a second chance and really wish I hadn’t. Everyone was very nice but I could have managed the cut with a pair of scissors and it look as good or better. Uneven hair on all parts of her body, her tail and ears were obliterated and her face & head literally looked like someone just chopped it all over. I rarely leave reviews but this most definitely needed one. Needless to say there won’t be a 3rd try.

I was disappointed with my recent experience at this location. The staff seemed quite unfriendly and lacked customer service skills. I tried reaching out to them on Messenger but did not receive a response.I have fond memories of coming here as a child when it was still called "Kid Zone." It's a shame to see the quality of the experience has declined over the years. I hope the management takes steps to improve the atmosphere and train their employees on providing better customer service.Additionally, this business should consider offering job opportunities, as finding employment in this town is very challenging for many people.

The staff here are amazing. They do amazing with our dogs and the dogs love going here to get groomed. We have kenneled them with them also and were very satisfied.

Bark Avenue, is THE place for my Lucy girl! She went in dirty and chopped up cause she lives on a farm an I tried trimming her face an eyes. She came home smelling a looking so refreshed, a beautiful. Thank you so much girls! ♥️ She will be back!

This place is pawsome! The staff is fur-nomenal and they've got the low prices to match. My big-headed pitbull has been going since I adopted him and he's always been welcome with open arms - he even knows when I mention “doggy day care”. I moved to Springfield recently, but I still bark up the same tree and drive all the way to Republic 'cause no one else can measure up. No ruff days here!I really can’t say enough good things about it !!

Took our boys there for the first time to have their nails done. Kim and the entire staff were exceptional with our dogs! Normally they're a little anxious when we do this, but today they were calm and very well behaved. The energy in there is amazing and it's great to see a family business so on point and all about their customer service! Thank you Kim! We feel like we have made a friend for life!

Our precious Rose goes here daily to daycare she absolutely loves this family that owns Bark Avenue. They take such good care of her while we work and she loves staying the night with boarding if her mom and dad have to go out of town. They spoil and love her just as we do when she's home. If your looking for daycare or boarding this place is wonderful!!!

I absolutely love this place and the people that work there. I take my puppy to the daycare side about 3 times a week. I can definitely tell he gets the exercise he needs there! He comes home and passes right out. I know that Kim and Chris treat him great as well! Every time he goes in there he is just wagging his tail ready for them to greet him! Definitely recommend!

I live in an apartment and work all day so when I got my puppy I needed to make sure she got to go somewhere during the day where she got her exercise and didn’t learn bad habits! I called all around in republic and surrounding towns and this was the only place with outdoor play AND outdoor potty breaks! That is what initially lured me in but now I’m hooked and I CAN NOT SAY ENOUGH good things about this daycare!!! They are SO good with my Agnes! They literally love her like their own! And she loves them!!!! She also gets groomed here and they do an excellent job and are very affordable!!!!

We boarded our dogs with Bark Avenue over vacation - our oldest dog is 14 and I was nervous to leave her, as she’s never been boarded in her life. They were so caring and even responded quickly to my annoying messages checking in on her, reassuring me that she was just fine! Both dogs were in a great mood when we picked them up - happy to see us and I had zero concerns about anything - they even waited for us to pick the dogs up since our flight landed after hours.We took our younger dog for his first grooming at Bark Avenue this week and they did a wonderful job! He is a doodle breed and a bit rambunctious. 😉 I could not ask for a better grooming experience - and the best part (in my opinion) was that he came home smelling lovely, and not like he’d been in a stinky kennel - it smells great and they really do take excellent care of our fur babies!

I booked my appointment with ease and got in quickly. This was our first grooming experience with our German Shepherd, Ivy. I was very hesitant taking her anywhere because she does not do well with nail trimmings and her ears are very sensitive. When I dropped Ivy off for her appointment they were very attentive to my concerns. When I came back for pick up, the lady explained Ivy wasn’t difficult at all and did very well! Ivy’s coat was well groomed and smooth, they used sensitive skin products for her, her nails were nicely trimmed, and she seemed so excited to be pampered. I would highly recommend Bark Ave., thank you for taking care of Ivy!

We were visiting family in Springfield and found this place was along the way. We dropped off on a Sunday and picked our pups up on Tuesday. The staff was exceptional. The place was clean and DIDNT SMELL LIKE DOGS!!! When we picked the dogs up, they were happy and clean and didn't stink. Price was reasonable. We are very happy and we will use them every time we come through.

We went and Toured the Place, and met the Owner and the Groomers, everyone was very nice,the Shop is Large,and has Private rooms, and inside and outdoors play areas for the Dogs !!Our 1st Grooming appointment is next week,I'll update after that !
