Giving five stars as to not drag the rating down, because I am so happy there is a grocery store in the middle of this neighborhood! That being said, customer service is hit, or miss. On my last visit the cashier checking me out was super unprofessional, and even stopped in the middle of my transaction to open the chiefs game on her phone and check the score. She then proceeded to speculate about the game, scores, etc. despite me expressing no interest. She began talking to other employees about the game and ignoring my groceries. When I was getting ready to pay one of her family members showed up at the checkout, and they proceeded to have another chat while I was waiting on my receipt. Check out was very long and I felt I was being ignored most of the time. That being said 90% of my visits have been good! Prices are high but I suppose you pay for convenience. Produce is surprisingly good for a smaller store!

Friendly and usually fast peeps! Prices tend to be a tad high, but, it is YOUR neighborhood grocery store!Update...CHECK THE DATES on pretty much all your items! Mostly breads, deli and meats..

Parking lot full of holes, some deep,watch where you step. Eight cans of vegetables in one bag, should have been double bagged. But I do like shopping here. Smaller, less crowded and usually have most everything I need.3-21-24. Just got home bought blueberries, sign said $2.99......read receipts charged $4.99. This happens at this store all to often. Won't be back, Hy- Vee is only 3 blocks away, you are 4 miles, doesn't pay to shop here.

The first thing you notice when you walk in is the stink. As we were shopping we noticed the out dates. It's April 2nd and we found stuff outdated since February, dairy products, can goods, and almost everything. The meat is brown,melted Ice-cream laying in the aisles,also watched a stocker just throwing new stuff on top of the old without rotating the stock. We told the manager about this and he just shrugged it off so we just left and went to a different store. If you shop there please check the outdates we wouldn't want anybody getting sick from their lack of responsibility

I love this grocery store! Very fresh produce!A great variety in canned foods with plenty of name brand choices. Best Choice items are superior to HyVee by far! The staff is very friendly and the store isn't jammed packed like HyVee.It's a much more laid back shopping experience. Apple Market! 🍎🍏 😃

A great place to go if you need to go shopping, but don't want to walk for miles. There are some specialty items they probably don't have, and be careful on expiration of fresh produce. I spend hundreds of dollars here. They are rarely overly busy, and they usually have plenty of checkers.

They have multiple facings of beer, but all of their Yuengling is outside of the cooler, warm. Gonna have to find another place to get my beer

Been going here for 30 years. Today the manager snapped at my wife for asking where an item was. Service has faulted there from poor to downright bad. It's too bad cause it's handy. Lee's Summit is not that far away.

Never a bad expirence here. Everyone here is always so cheerful and helpful that they make you feel like family. Really good prices on meats and there fried chicken is TO DIE FOR. Plz visit the spot as you will get the best expirence you can compared to other grocery stores

We love our local Apple Market! The staff is friendly and helpful - and it's fun to see familiar faces every time we go in. I finished a HUGE grocery haul one night for my big family, and the guy at the checkout offered to help me unload my cart into my van. I appreciated that because it was late/dark and the security that someone would be with while I loaded groceries into my van was very helpful! And it took half the time (if not less) to unload!

Every time I walk in here it reminds me of a small town store. Staff are friendly and the rotisserie chicken is awesome! I prefer this store over the crowded others in the area. Prices are a bit higher than the competition and I hope Apple Market becomes just a bit more competitive.

My favorite store to shop for groceries. Convenient and close to home. Friendly staff clean store and a great selection of foods I enjoy. When I come in I know where to go to find everything I need. All of the employees are friendly and there to assist me with looking up items, price checks & the front staff scan my items quickly & conveniently with bagging and handling my items with great care. An amazing store.

Bought rotisserie chicken and it was very moist and well seasoned. The gentleman that helped me at the delivery was wonderful. I got the crab salad, baked beans, baked potato salad and amish Mac salad. I am really picky about my Mac salad. It looked almost like mine and if you add cheddar chunks and green olives it was almost exactly like mine. The Mac salad was not the choice I wanted but the man went to get that instead of the potatoe salad and then realized I hadn't ordered that so we kind of joked that he thought I would like it and he told me how good it was and boy was he right. Thank you, I will definitely be back!

We shopped here for the very first time this week. As soon as we walked in the door we were hit by the most pungent and foul smell. It wafted through the entire store. I'm not sure how anyone shopped here before masks were required because my mask certainly wasn't enough. There were dead flies on the produce and on the packages of meat. The only thing that made the trip enjoyable was how nice everyone was. Employees and shoppers alike. It has potential but I'd bet money it's not up to code and whatever that smell is needs to go.

I had another pleasant trip to my little neighborhood store. The cashier and sacker were warm and friendly they make it a pleasure to shop there. I will continue to shop at this store, the cozy hometown feel and friendly courteous staff make what could be another chore on my to do list a lot more pleasant.

This is a great little neighborhood grocery store. I get their weekly ads and shop here regularly. Their Butcher is the nicest man and very helpful. Whenever I have asked him questions. Today he helped cut down a whole beef brisket into 3 packages.

It's close and convenient to the neighborhoods in close proximity to the 63rd and woodson area but, the owners are aware that they've the only ones that close to the rich neighborhood..... This place is expensive as hell for a grocery store. With that being said, they have a pretty wide selection for a smaller grocery store. The rating is only based on the above average prices on the products sold here. The staff is very friendly and helpful!

Great store, friendly. Clean One deduction for poor inconsistent produce. Many refrozen products, old freezer burned products in freezer section.Update 6/21/18, I can tell they have made a real effort to improve since my last post. Produce is much better. Still have some of the same refrozen products but much of the freezer burned products are gone. This is a good sign and a good effort.
