I love this clinic, they have helped me with my fur babies so much!I've been to other clinics, that were dissapointing in the care and attention I wanted for my girls and older male pup.I have fostered, adopted, and trained many dogs and I'm aware of basic and some major needs and care it takes to keep them happy and healthy.When it comes to my elder dog, the staff is very knowledgeable and helping.When it comes to last minute emergencies, they fit me and my puppies in right away.I have never felt this at ease with a Veterinary clinic before.My dogs are like my kids, and I know at this clinic they will be taken in with the greatest of care.Thank you to all staff, I'm so happy we found you! 😊

We have used RVC for almost 8 yrs for our 3 dogs. From puppies to adults. We moved. Could have found a vet closer to us. But we trust RVC so much we are willing to drive the extra miles. They are friendly and really care about our pets.We love Dr. Haley and the staff!

Dr Vaughn and staff take great care of our fur babies ! They always take the time to be caring and attentive to all questions and concerns . We have an English Mastiff and two smaller mix breeds , they seem to be very comfortable and happy when we go to the office . Highly recommend anyone to go see them for their veterinary needs.

The folks here are amazing and compassionate. They have assisted me in having to put down a couple of my pets over the years and are so kind, understanding, and patient. That meant the world to me. Very mindful of the situations. Also always provided great care to my furbabies. There when I had a question. Always available. Great group of folks!!!! Thanks for what you do. ❤️

My sweet Chow-Chows are cared for by Dr Salva, DVM. She is so gentle and caring with them, even sits on the floor to make them more at ease. She and the tech are so wonderful, thorough, and my pups love them!

My cat Pistashio was spayed there at 6 to 8 months old. We had to re home here last year. I just received a message from her new owners saying they were shocked when she had kittens last month. We gave the spay records to her new owners and they plan to contact this office. However we payed for this surgery ourselves and were the ones who thought Pistachio was fixed properly. My Daughter owned this cat for 3 years and paid for this surgery. She wants a refund for this botched surgery. Plus on top of that my other cat Raisin was treated here numerous times for a mysterious illness she has. She was 8 when it started and we had veen going here for 3 years already. They saw her twice and kept her twice and it cost me a thousand dollars with zero answers. I stopped going here after that. My cat sadly is still not better years later. I cant afford to take her anywhere else and so she has attacks where she coughs and gags and it could be Asthsma. But nobody ever helped her. So these spells as I call them can be between 8 to 12 a day. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. They take your money but don't help your cat or botch surgery. I'm pretty livid with this vet office. I took my 3 cats and left. We now go elsewhere and are very happy.

Dr Berkshire is by far the best Vet who has ever taken care of my fur babies. He is warm and kind and truly cares. He explains everything very well and takes time to listen. The front and back office staff are wonderful. All of them are very knowledgeable about animals and their duties. (Love you Tessa)! I recommend this practice 100%! My silly old guy and big, sweet kitty. ❤

We've had great experiences here, even in bad situations. Our dogs got into a fight. We called ahead and they were coming out the door before I could get the truck in park. I had expected a large bill but it was way less than I expected. They are very kind and considerate. You can tell everyone there cares about your pet.

I was satisfied with my previous vet in Blue Springs, so I was hesitant to switch to this vet just for convenience after moving to Raymore, but I’m glad I did! The staff is friendly, the facilities look decent, and they did great work with my husky’s anesthesia and dental cleaning! They even called the next day to make sure she was doing okay. Also, the pricing is cheaper compared to my previous vet’s, so that’s definitely a plus.

On Monday, April 26,2021 I took my friend's cat for to this place for her as she recently had surgery. Everyone there was so nice! The vet was a young blonde with glasses (didn't get her name) but she and her tech, (dark hair and glasses) were AWESOME! My 17 year old cat died on April 5th, 2021 so at first I felt a little uncomfortable being there. A lady with an 18 year old deaf cat opened the front door for me since it was so windy out. I felt comfortable and if I ever get another cat I definitely would take her to this clinic.

Since Dr. Gary Miller retired, this place has gone to hell in a hand basket. I continued with them after Dr. Miller’s retirement, but left after my Buffy’s visit to get her annual vaccinations. Reason being, Buffy saw a vet she never saw before who wasn’t even on staff with Raymore Vet Center (a regular occurrence at this place) and she wanted to take Buffy’s temperature due to the fact that Buffy’s stools had been black recently. She wound up having to shave her rear end to do this and came out to tell us (giggling the entire time) that the staff was trying to stop the bleeding because she had accidentally nicked her. Buffy is 16-1/2 years old, weighs nine pounds (always has), suffers from dementia, hearing loss, cataracts and arthritis. She gets groomed regularly, but she looked very shaggy due to the fact that we were unable to get her groomed when she was due, because she still had not had her vaccinations. Those vaccinations were put off due to the fact that Buffy was sick, and they didn’t wanted to do the vaccinations until she was back on our feet. But this gal had the audacity to ask Buffy if she ever got groomed because Buffy was anxious and wiggling around and didn’t want to be touched. Hello!!!! To Buffy, this vet was a stranger — par for the course with Raymore. There is no rapport, whatsoever, between doctor and patient. When dealing with senior dogs, you need to be extra gentle and have more compassion, which neither of these qualities did this vet possess. When she brought Buffy out, wrapped in a towel, I saw the fear and pain in Buffy’s eyes and decided right then that we were not coming back. When my husband started to take off the towel and return it to the vet, she told us to keep it. For a second, I thought about taking the towel and throwing it in her face. I am now back at. Belton Veterinary Center where I first took Buffy to Dr. Miller in 2007. Thank God!

Raymore Veterinary has been our vet for almost 7 years. Everyone is friendly, and goes out of their way to help. We moved and still drive 20 minutes or more so we can stay with them. Very happy with them.

Went above and beyond for me and my pup. I was feeling stressed as my dog, Dwight, was anxious and wiggly and I was afraid my newborn, who I needed to tag along, was going to wake up and have to nurse during all the commotion. The vet tech said she was taking Dwight back to get his heart worm test and I was getting mentally ready for the struggle of watching him get all his vaccines when they got back to the room. The vet returned and in a whisper told me they did all his vaccines and gave him a complimentary nail trim. She explained the tech noticed my baby was sleeping and didn't want to wake her. I love kind and caring people!

Raymore Veterinary Center is so cool and the reason why I say that is because they tell you straight up and don't beat around the bush about anything that's wrong with your pet and I'm a get to the point type of guy. They take great care of our two Labrador dogs. They’re pricing is great and setting up appointments is easy through either their pet desk app or simply calling them. They recently went out of their way on the cusp of the holiday weekend to call around and find someone to get our sick dog what he needed. I cannot thank them enough for that extra effort and what may have kept him around a few more years.

Had to come in for a dog I have known for 15 years and acquired recently. He had growths one in particular we were very concerned about. We know he would need to be put down and although they don’t usually do that for first time patients they also saw how bad the lump had gotten in just a few weeks. They were so gentle and kind and we put him down. They were amazing

My 13 year old Boston Terrier had a fall last week. It was after hours. I brought him to the office early that morning and even though they were booked SOLID all week, they got me in! I can’t thank them enough!! They are always so good to me and my animals. RAVE!!!

This used to be the BEST veterinarian - we had to put our dog down about 3 years ago, and the staff was the absolute kindest. However, it must have changed management, because the last few times we've been in (with different dogs), the staff have been uncaring and dismissive. They seem only to want your money and not actually care about their clients of their clients' pets. There seem to be a lot more fees for things now, too. Definitely WOULDN'T recommend now.After having another experience with them (to get heartworm pulls for my dogs), I'm more convinced than ever that this is the absolute LAST place you should bring your pets! We inquired about bringing our dog in for some tummy trouble, and they asked that we bring a stool sample in (no problem, that makes sense). They then proceeded to tell us, no less than 3 times, that we would need to pay. We've never not paid, so I'm not sure where that urgency is coming from. But YIKES!!! It's very clear money is the top priority here. Take your pets literally anywhere else!

We have lived in Raymore for over two years and have historically used RVC as they have been closest. When calling to set up appointments, you will often get a prompt to leave a voicemail and someone will reach out. I have literally never gotten a call back. The only way is just getting lucky by calling and hoping a live person picks up.Unfortunately that isn't the worst part of this review. One of our dogs had developed a growth on his shoulder right before we moved and each time when we had gone in we always ask for them to look at it, and each time they said that it was normal and that it was nothing to be concerned about. Two weeks ago it got cut and was bleeding/ seemed to be infected. They said they wouldnt be able to get us in until the following week and didn't offer any other resolutions.I then call a different vet in Lees Summit and they are able to move things around and get me in the same day. Come to find out our dog has had cancer for over two years and was something that we could have gotten ahead of and made plans for two years ago. Now we are in much later stages and having talks about potential amputation or worse. This establishment should be decertified and completely shut down for malpractice. Absolutely shameful. We will not only never go here again, but would not recommend to anyone who will listen.
