It was late, so we hit the drive-through. They weren't busy at all. We were a bit disappointed that they were out of chili, and they do NOT offer a military discount. We ordered about $45 worth of food. I'm not sure how long it took because i didn't actually get a receipt. It did take a little longer than normal. The 6" hot dog that we got was cold... the meat, the bread, even the packaging was cold. We had to circle back through to get my son something different. We traded it out for a burger. All the rest of the food was hot and delicious.

Pulled in a little after 8pm. Multiple kiosks were down but we found a slot. Ordered 2 meals and 3 kids meals. After 25 minutes our food finally came out. Carhop had to take payment as their card readers didn’t work at the kiosk. While waiting for our food with our windows down, the girl at the drive through window had multiple vehicles go through who she and another worker clearly knew. They dropped f-bomb after f-bomb yelling it out the drive through window. Our 3 kids under 10 heard it all before we could get the windows up. Complaining to the occupants of one vehicle how she wanted to quit her job. When the food finally came, the first burger was cold, other was wrong. Asked to have the wrong burger corrected which took another 10 minutes. Didn’t leave the lot with our food until 8:45. Not the first bad experience at a Sonic.

Was overcharged, when I questioned it I was told that they couldn’t do anything about it. Called the number on the receipt, was told that upper management would be contacting me within 24 hours by phone or email. Well 24 hours have come and gone haven’t heard anything. Wasn’t so much about the cost as it was about the way I was treated for questioning. It was 1 item. So it was clearly obvious that they overcharged me and didn’t care

Okay Sonic of Portageville, tonight you earned your 5 star review. It has been 3 years since I last did a review. Tonight you get kudos. My meal was hot! FRESH!! I was greeted with a wonderful friendly smile. My order was accurate, I received all my condiments, napkins in the bag ( I cannot tell how upsetting it is to get you meals and there are no napkins) everything was absolutely perfect and delicious. THANK YOU!!

Would highly recommend you NOT eating here! I constantly have to send my food back because they give me cold , old , or raw food!! They are terrible !! Here’s a picture of the pickles that I had to send back two times already!

This is the WORST sonics we have EVER been to. Check your food before you drive off. We been here 3 times and every time our order gets screwed up. First time our burgers were missing lettuce tomatoes and mustard we requested. We didn't have time to turn around and fix their mistake. The second time our fries was less than half full and one of our burgers was plain again and we didn't have time to turn around. 3rd time same bs only I ordered toaster club and that was missing an onion ring, lettuce and bbq sauce. My spouse's burger came out plain again. So this time we sent the food back to get them fixed, the young lady we talked to was very shrewd about having to take an order back. They barely solved the problem we tried a second time to get them to correct the order and nothing was done about it. The lady that came out said she dont make the food she just delivers them and walked off. They need new management.

Takes forever. You can view one of the cooks wipe his hands on his body every time he wraps a sandwich through the window while you wait. Always seems like only 2 people are actually working even if see 6 people the rest are doing nothing. My biggest peeve is waiting forever only to find that the things you ordered aren't in the bag and you have to wait on it while the rest of your food gets colder. I'm all for young kids getting a job but this place truly needs more not only adult but experienced workers.

This Sonic has a drive thru lane, in addition to their traditional stalls. I have eaten here multiple times, and the service is not reliable. Sometimes it is great, sometimes not. The food is not the best. It is edible, but most of the time the fries are cold, and the meat is cooked too long. They do serve lunch all day long, so if it's early and you don't want breakfast, they do offer full menu. Cleanliness is not really something that can be graded, since there is no indoor dining area, but the picnic tables and outdoor dining area appears to be moderately clean. The carhops and order takers are polite and nice, and are the strongest selling point for this restaurant. I would give only 2 stars, but unfortunately, this is one of the few fast food restaurants in town, and though unreliable, still performs better overall than it's competitors. So 3 stars are awarded, but not because of how good it is, but because of how bad the other options are.

Pretty poor quality for this Sonic. Our shake was missing the whipped topping and cherry. When I asked them what’s up with that, they said you had to ask for it specifically. The menu clearly states that it comes with it and you have to request it to be REMOVED. The rude and lazy employees at this particular Sonic need to be replaced by people who appreciate work ethic and customer relations. I’m so glad this isn’t my hometown Sonic.

This was the worst sonic ever. 😒 our order was 25$. Waited for 20+ min. Food was cold, soggy fries/tots, under cooked corn dog..... we asked for condiments, waited for another 10 min. While waiting we attempted to eat. So disappointing. Sonic has always been on point. Finally I asked for our money back. So, they wanted the food back.. against all covid practice. But, we laughed and gave it back. We were not going to eat it anyway. That food wasn't good enough for the trash. I wish there were-☆ for this rating. So don't misunderstand my rating.. Signed A Valued Sonic customer. VERY, VERY DISAPPOINTED.

Sat at one of the car hop spots for 15 mins or so but no one ever answer after we pushed the button. The drive up seemed to be moving so we pulled out and got in that line and sat in it for 15 mins or so. We finally said forget it and went to the McDonald next door. Three n mins later we were back on the road.

Portageville needs so much work when you the only vehicle and still wait 45 mins on a tea I mean it's out of control I sure no Milo's tea sells went up bc of it I still have shakes I payed for never refunded or anything they let us set for 17 mins after pre ordering so hot button again for them to say they don't have stuff for order but yet can't refund the prepaid apps I know these last 6 months has really been running people off that went 2xs a day I am one of them

Stopped by on a Saturday evening just before 9:00 p.m. while traveling through the area. There were approximately 10-12 cars in the drive up slots. We pressed the red button and no one responded after waiting 10-12 minutes. We then decided to get in the drive-thru lane. They quickly took our order and we moved up to the window to pay. We proceeded to wait yet another 10-12 minutes without anyone greeting us or taking our form of payment so we left. Extremely poor service after being on site for almost 30 minutes. Better go elsewhere until management decides to bump up the hiring and training process at this location. Very disappointing.

Sikeston, MO. I used the mobile app, and ordered ahead of time. I ordered 2 cake batter shakes, and 1 red bull slush. (Which is half price for ordering online) When I got there I checked in, and after waiting 15 minutes a lady approached the vehicle and told me that the restaurant was out of the cake batter mix, and asked if I would like something different. I told her no, but I would take the red bull slush. She then told me that her manager would offer a refund for all 3 of my items, and that I would have to pay again for my slushie. The original total online was $15 and some change. She then charged me $5 for the slushie (the one i had already paid $2.50 for online!) And told me after I received my slushie that I would be refunded $10.78 on my card ?! Not only does this not make complete sense, but it's been day 3, and I've yet to be refunded by Sonic! Needless to say, I goggled how I can get in contact with their corporate only to have to reset my phone because I somehow ended up with a malware while looking it up!!😡😡 So I do not recommend their app, and I'm curious to who all has had this happen to them!?! Give me my hard earned money back Sonic, please!
