I always have the best experience at this Ulta location.Chelsea, Taylor and Haley did my wedding hair and makeup, along with 3 bridesmaids and managed to get all of us ready before the original estimated time booked. It was stress free and everyone looked stunning. I had booked the bridal hair and makeup appointment far in advance that they were able to make special accommodations for us. I was so happy with my look. I can’t thank everyone enough for being part of my special day.Even before and after the wedding, I’ve had many salon services done here, from hair treatments, make up applications and eyebrow wax/threading. Each time, I’ve always been very pleasured with the results and enjoy talking with everyone here. Everyone is very nice and knowledgeable about the products they carry. They do get busy frequently but that’s to be expected at any retail location. You just have to make sure you have an appointment or not be in a rush if you don’t.I highly recommend Chelsea, Taylor and Haley as their skills are perfection.

I’ve always loved the atmosphere of this location and the staff are always super nice and eager to help with whatever you need. Kacey in the salon is AMAZING! It was my first time back in a long time to get my hair done and she makes you feel comfortable and consults you before even starting so she can make sure to give the client exactly what they want/need. 10000/10 recommend

***2 weeks still NO RESPONSE from ANYONE*** Major breakage all around the crown****I have left an urgent message at the corporate office, went into the store on Monday, and used the text line to submit a case. Unfortunately all of these requests have received no response. So this is my only option apparently.I recently had a salon appointment at the Ulta in Poplar Bluff. Unfortunately my hair was damaged and the color request not followed. The stylist left the dye on much longer than she should have. My front is now damaged and hair breaking on top. She also got dye on the back of my anthro shirt.This appointment was a touch up from my initial appointment with a different stylist at an Ulta salon out of Colorado.I did attempt to settle the issue with the GM of the store. She agreed to refund me, however the expense to repair my hair should not be my responsibility. The stylist at this salon shared with me that she is has the most experience as there has been high turn over due to mismanagement. She also expressed she was off for 2 weeks due to "burn out" and now only works 1 day a week. She was overbooked and struggling to manage her work load.When addressing the situation with the GM, no apology was given, no validation of my concern and was quite flippant about the scenario. She did refund the service fee, however I have been quoted over 500 to fix my hair. I followed up on Monday with the newly hired salon manager and she gave me the information of a local stylist that may be able to assist me. She did validate the issue with my hair however no offer to compensate or cover this was offered. She stated she would partner with her DM and call me back. That has not happened.I work as a DM and had a banquet to host on Tuesday. As you can imagine it is very important that I maintain a professional appearance. I am disappointed at the lack of follow-up from Ulta and would appreciate a response. I'm a good client and use your services often, but even if I were not as a human someone should care.

Today was my first time in one of your stores. Everything looked great! I was inquiring about a haircut and a color/highlights. I talked to my Stylist, Taylor (Tailor). I was excited to be getting a new look for the first time in forever. We talked about what I wanted or thought I wanted. She talked me through everything and was very outgoing and very friendly. She wasn't at all shy, I instantly liked her.Taylor (Tailor) was putting my information in for the appt as I noticed a young lady walking up to her. I could tell by her body language that something was wrong. She spoke to Taylor (Tailor) and I could hear what was going on. She was being scolded by a manager of some sort. And I thought, oh my gosh, did that lady just come over and scold my stylist right before my major experience?? I can guarantee you, I did not appreciate it AT ALL.So, then the mood kind of changed, with me anyway. My stylist was very professional with me even though I knew she had to be at least somewhat upset. It made me mad that someone just basically, tried to sabotage my freaking experience and I paid good money for this!! The lady's name was Abbey I think. I can also guarantee that I would not appreciate if someone spoke to me in that manner, with a customer right there. It is very disrespectful! Shame on you Abbey!I'm thrilled with my hair, it turned out great. Thank you T (however you spell it :)), I appreciate your help and caring.

Took my son for a haircut, first online states 60 minutes with shampoo and conditioner, cut and blow dry. It took 5-8 minutes and we kept having to ask her to keep going. There was never a shampoo even offered. $47 is an absolute joke. Do not go in and use the manager, Chelsey because you will not be happy with the service and with her being the manager what can be done?

What person would not absolutely love to store it!? The staff was so knowledgeable about the product, and friendly and supportive when I was looking for my lashes! WhileWhile some pricing may be a bit high, you are absolutely getting a quality product. I would recommend Ulta beauty to everyone I know for all of their beauty and self-care needs.

This place exceeded my expectations. The staff there was just absolutely amazing and friendly. I was in there an hour and a half and still didn't want to leave after I paid for my stuff. They have everything to offer and it smells so good when you walk in.

Horrible experience in the SALON. Mindi (spelling?) was extremely rude and didn’t want to do my brows at all. Neither girl expected us although I had booked two appointments an hour and a half prior. The customer service was great from the girl with blonde and blue hair, she just didn’t know what she was doing. My sister’s brows are stick straight and uneven. My brows were previously waxed (thankfully), and the only thing wrong with mine was that there was tons of dye left on my brows and face. Should have clarified that I wanted the Brow Bar and not the salon, had I known there was no one working the brow bar we wouldn’t have wasted $50.

Employees were friendly, it was too bright, too expensive but I LOVE IT! I took my granddaughter there. She loved it. She bought some blue eyeliner and wears it every day. That is the only makeup that she wears. That is priceless. ❤

The stylists are limited in knowledge and techniques. One individual talks non-stop and is easily distracted. I went in for color and a cut. I had to return to have the work redone. ( the second visit was free, however the second visit was no better.) I spent a total of 9 hours to have my hair worked on. The coloring was inferior, the hair cuts we a hack job and I spent a small fortune only to return to my regular stylist at another location to have my hair cut again because my hair was butchered and multi colored, and not in a good way. Thank God I was able to salvage the damage with someone who knew what they were doing, it took about an hour and was 60% cheaper. I did understand that what I wanted to achieve was not a simple process and would take a good amount of time in the chair. I did verbalize what I wanted to achieve and received feedback that left me trusting my stylist. While undergoing treatments I was informed of other things that needed to be done... I was not in a position to change my m8nd or halt the rest of the work. I did leave, late I might add, after 4 hours of being processed content with the work. The next morning looking at the work I was very disappointed and upset. I returned the following Monday, underwent more processing and hair cut, only to leave again dissatisfied. As soon as I walked into my usual salon I was net with who did that to your hair. I am happy to say my hair has been corrected and I am happy now. If you are going to shop it's a great place to do that. However I strongly encourage you to go elsewhere to have your hair done.

This was my second visit to Ulta. I am not the biggest fan of this business. I find it very overwhelming due to the bombarding aspect of the sheer number of products in the store. I too find there is little to no customer service available. With the sheer number of products, and diverse amount of need for direction with i.e. shade selection, best options in product personalization..I just find Ulta very anxiety producing! The number of products is amazing, however, sometimes too much of a good thing isn't always good.

They need better training for new employees. Had 2 cashier's, both were very confused with checking out people. I was next in line and stood there 15 minutes waiting. Nobody asked if you needed help while looking around. Just walked passed. Cashier's didn't say sorry for your wait or thank you. I've been to ULTA in Pennsylvania and Arkansas and they are great. Hopefully this one will get better in time.

These people are so nice and kind! Hailey from the salon did my hair yesterday and I couldn't have been happier! It's such a confidence boost to simply be in ULTA, and to get my hair done makes me more confident my myself. They really do work their magic here! Hailey and the rest of the girls are so nice I don't think I'll be going anywhere else. She also did my brows and I just couldn't be happier with the results of it all!!

My girlfriend had been trying to get her hair cut and dyed for month's at every beauty salon in Kennett so one day while my girlfriend was in this nail shop in poplar bluff I sit outside in the car waiting on her i asked my best friend Google for recommendations on the best beauty salon in poplar bluff and ulta beauty was at the top of the list so I gave them a call and I spoke with one of the best representative i have ever spoken to in my life she was so concerned about helping me help my girlfriend get her hair fixed in one day when every other beauty salon had this supposedly one month waiting list and not only do ultra bright give you the best assistant when you need it this place is so lovely and beautiful and the cleanest beauty salon i have ever seen on the inside ulta beauty has some of the best top names brands fragrance for MEN AND WOMEN at a reasonable price ❤ 💕 💖

I felt like my business was unimportant bc I am African American. The salesgirl pulled the first color she saw, which was way too dark for me. I felt like she didn't think I had money... but I did and I was ready to spend. Ended up having to return my products bc they didn't match.

I love the store, but the employees never offered to help me, even though there were only eight people in the whole store! One woman was applying makeup for a customer, and when I asked her a question, she was rather rude and yelled at another woman to help me!
