I have spent over $100,000 with the poplar bluff store building a new house in mammoth spring Arkansas. I paid a delivery fee of over $350 each time I had a big order.When I placed the window order I added another window a few days later. I called to notify the lumber desk associate of this and they said no problem. They said it could be added to the delivery of all the other windows.Windows came and the added window was left out. They agreed it was their mistake and they would deliver it to me at no charge.Next we ordered the interior doors. I again needed to add another 2 bifold doors to the order. Since they messed up the window delivery, I proactively called the delivery desk 2 days before delivery to confirm they would be sending both orders. I do want my monies worth for $350.The desk associate told me the second door order had already been picked up. I assured him we did not pick them up. He agreed to look into and call me back. He never did and the delivery came with out my second order.My contractor had to exchange some doors that he had listed incorrectly on the order. They refunded him price less 25% restocking fee. That is their policy. Fair enough. BUT…He did pick up the doors they had failed to deliver initially. He drive over 3 hours round trip to do this. I pleasantly asked for the full refund on the doors as a compensation for his effort of doing their job. They refused.I then asked he be compensated for doing the delivery for them. They refused. Heath was manager making decisions.This would not happen at a local lumber yard. I chose to use Menards to save money on our build. I did this, but it did come with many headaches and extra work on my part.You would think if you had spent over $100,000 your business would be valued. It is not. When they make mistakes be ready to take it on the chin! Be ready to do their job for them. Even though I proactively tried to prevent this they still dropped the ball and failed to compensate for their mistake.

I was very disappointed during a recent interaction with the staff regarding a rental of the carpet/upholstery cleaning machine for a quick fall clean up of our high traffic areas. I arrived at Menards to rent the machine and purchased a bottle of cleaner. Once arriving at our place of business I noticed there were no hoses for the machine to clean upholstery. Also there was a rather large amount of hair in the rollers.No biggie. I spent about a half hour removing the hair and made light work and accomplished the task. Upon returning the machine I was about 45 minutes late. They proceeded to tell us it wasnt returned on time and charged us another days rental and charging additional $20 cleaning fee when it was spotless. The asst manager was very rude and made us feel dirty.. So we paid double. We asked to speak to Gary but they refused. We filled our propane today, all 8 of them but we didn't use Menards. As business owners we won't be treated that way and will be taking our business elsewhere moving forward.

Went to poplar bluff for paint to do trim around the house, was talked into the menards brand paint. I will sat there is no way I will ever waste my time or money on thier paint again. Watered down to the point intakes 4 coats to get coverage . Lesson learned

This location needs to update their inventory stock numbers. I drove nearly 2 hours here because other nearby Menards did not have, only for them to not have it either. Any compensation for the inconvenience? None. Did I get my refund that day? No also.

I went there to buy a new washing machine. I wanted a cheap one but my family wanted a more expensive Maytag. They offer an 11% rebate but you have to mail it in and all you get is in store credit. I wanted my cash back. But the whole thing was a good experience.

The Dollar General of home/garden stores. By far the worst experience you could have. Just spent 3k on materials for a customer and nobody can help me schedule a delivery I've already paid for because??? I have no idea. I was told I would be contacted to set up delivery, that has not happened. When I called pick up and delivery today to ask and hopefully set something up the guy acted like I was bothering him. He eventually put me on indefinite hold. When I hung up and tried to call back nobody picked up. Absolutely worthless, a joke.This will be the last time I do business here.

I highly do not recommend ordering from this store. We've order shower parts twice, based off recommendations from their staff. And found both times they will not work. They are rude about assisting in pickup, and when we had to return an item they recommended, they deducted $250 dollars and returns to our credit card apparently take 7-10 days, which I have never seen with any other business. When calling to speak to them, the customer service was rude, dismissive and did not even try to resolve my frustration. We enjoyed Mernards, but there is not nearly enough savings to have to be treated rudely and loose money due to inadequate assistance.

When you can find a person who genuinely wants to help, it's good, but more often than not, the staff there recently appear mostly annoyed when I'm asking for assistance. I'm not in a wheelchair but noticeably disabled and no one staff member even asks (as I walk by looking lost) if I need help. Going to go to Home Depot from now on.

Big shout out to TREVOR in plumbing dapartment for helping me find the parts I needeed. I had an exhausting week and was struggling to find the last of what I needed. Trevor was very friendly. He took the info i gave him and put together what I needed right there in the aisle so I knew I had everything. I had employee after employee pass me by for an hour until Trevor asked if I needed help. Thank you, Trevor for your ecellent customer service.

Absolutely love Menards. Visited often when I lived in St Louis. Now that I have moved to Arkansas it is an hour drive to the closest one in Poplar Bluff but it is well worth the visit. Lots of neat stuff along with all the items a homeowner would need. Hurry up Menards and move into Arkansas.

We ordered a garage door over a year ago. We still haven’t received all the pieces of it. Jason, the “store manager,” is absolutely useless. He lies, has given us wrong information and NEVER keeps his word. When I asked for his managers phone number or corporates number, he refused to give it to me. This clown isn’t competent enough to manage anything! Now we have a $12,000 garage door that we don’t have all the pieces for. I will reaching out to the local news and menards corporate office. I had to call a different store to get the information. Pathetic! Jason, I’mComing for your job!

At the building materials counter, Dylan was not helpful and was rude on two separate occasions. Ethan was polite and asked several times if we had been helped and we had already been helped by Todd who was checking on materials for us. Todd was awesome & helpful. He got us the info we needed and was polite and courteous.

It's a great store if you need tools lumber other hardware plumbing supplies electrical supplies lamps great place for large items Gary the GM's real good guy along with my manager Sean Wesley and Kyle we try our best with great customer service come up and see us sometime we'll hook you up with what you need to build a shed the garden or even to make a little campfire area in your backyard

Doing many home updates and repairs, this place has played an important part in helping us get things in shape. Professional employees, helpful in locating items, offering delivery, and perks such as 11% rebates on top of excellent sales. This store has almost everything we need and has clean restrooms and the entire store is clean making it an enjoyable place to shop. I spend way too much time there!

Casey in the paint section was awesome. She helped us pick our colors to match our ceramic tile. In the ceramic tile area there was a woman that was awesome her name starts with a C but I can't remember it but she helped us a great deal. Ken in the siding area was awesome as well he even got a chair for me to sit in while we figured out what we needed. So my overall visit for today was you got it AWESOME!!! Thanks to all Menard's employees.

Ordered a Garage Door and a low overhead kit. Shows I already picked up the overhead kit and never did I. Garage door was supposed to be in 3 weeks after ordered in September got and email in November saying it would be there December 28th just to drive 3 hrs today to find out it won't even be shipped till February 3rd Now. Awful Business...

Like many other reviews, I spent around an hour shopping in the store without a mask and then told at the register that I had to have one to make my purchase. They are willing to sell you one at the register so you can put it on and make your purchase. Why am I allowed to purchase a mask without wearing one but not not allowed to purchase anything else without one? It's outrageous and communistic. Everyone should go to Home Depot. They may be smaller, but the service is better, employees ask if you need assistance and the masks are FREE when you walk in the door and they don't REQUIRE you to wear one.
