I like a couple of employess at this DG location very much. The woman I encountered there recently NOT AT ALL. Never seen her previously - and I would have known if I had; scawny little woman, seemed way older than her years. Looked like she's led a "hard life", if you take my meaning. She didn't bother introducing herself, either. I don't think - though I could be wrong - she was wearing a name tag. At any rate, she accused me of shoplifting "BABY CLOTHES", for krissakes! I've never been accused of stealing in my entire 60 years. She obviously wanted me to either empty my purse or let her look inside. Uh . . . no, lady. No way - how dare you? That's MY PRIVATE PROPERTY. After a couple more back-&-forths, she then said, "So you're not going to give the baby clothes back to me?" 'I don't have any baby clothes.' She then turned without another word and walked toward the back of the store. I just stood there for a minute or two, stunned. I bought the 3 items in my hands, told the wet noodle of a clerk what had happened. After I paid, I told him I didn't know where that woman had gone and ". . . is there something I need to do?" (other than letting her ransack my belongings, of course.) He shrugged & said, "I guess not." I had such a bad taste in my mouth for the rest of the night. Considering writing to DG corporate, not that it would matter. Well, I won't be darkening the stoop of this location EVER again - that's for sure. Horrible experience. Go to a different store!

The employees were friendly and the store was neat. I made several purchases including some "glade plug-in refills." It appeared, according to the price on the shelves and the location of the products that I could either purchase 2 refills with 1 dispenser or 3 refills, both for $5 so I chose the 3 refills because I have a dispenser. When I was rung up, the 3 refills were 6.75, not $5. The cashier checked the shelf + said someone must have moved their products around. While the cashier was ringing my purchases up, I entered my phone number so I could take advantage of the digital coupons. Half way thru ringing up my purchases, the cashier said the register stopped ringing up my purchases when I entered my phone number + had to ring my purchases up again. This happened again, on another visit today.

I shop here often and always have friendly cashier's even when other customers express attitude towards them they remain courteous and keep smiling

Every Dollar General I have been in is always messy. Isles have stacks of products, and customers make a messes of the shelves and rarely gets straightened back up. Price is right though!

Never have the dg products in stocked or stocked at all!! Only use one cashier when there are 10 people in line! And even if there under staffed corporate should be more attentive

At this location, everyone is always so nice and helpful. I have a store closer to my house but they aren't friendly. I recommend this location anytime!!

There is always not enough people to get store stocked not workers faults you cannot give good customer service if u have to stock store and run cash register

The one of n northwest wood is better than the one on mo-63 the the lady on mo-53 location was very rude and almost accused me of stealing. Store was messy

Everytime I go in there for something, I remember why i stay as far away as i can. You could need one thing and be in line for 30 min before getting checked out. They only keep one register open

I don't understand why theses stores are so cluttered up that you can't even get down the isles with your cart to shop. The district mangers need to make sure that there's enough people to stock shelves and check people out.

Store needs a rebuild to add additional lanes for checkouts, theres never enough lanes or checkers and the 7-10 minute wait in line makes eve their deals not worth it with all the stores around it.

Cashier's are friendly and manager is very friendly, however prices never ring up what they're marked so watch for that!

Well it is always cluttered,they need extra cashiers,but I love the prices and convenience, but the manager who runs the Southside store really needs to get that store in order, it is in the worst shape compared to all over town.

There is always something blocking other merchandise or the walkway. There seems to only be two employees at a time which makes everything run very slow and makes you wait in line forever
