If I could give this a negative 10 stars then I would. I came to visit in the park near by for the 2024 eclipse. I decided to walk the half a mile to the store, only to regret it. See, I’m from the south where there’s such a thing as southern hospitality, and I can tell you with confidence- there was none at this establishment. My two sisters bounced a giant tennis ball TWICE on the ground, only to have a LITERAL CHILD come up and tell us to stop bouncing the ball. This kid was at most 8?9? So we continue shopping, my sister reaching for something off the top shelf, when the crappily organized items came tumbling down. We nervously laughed about it and picked them up. Next thing I know, the two women working are suddenly making passive aggressive clearly visible comments like “If you break it you buy it!” and “Y’all ain’t supposed to be bouncing that ball in here!” All the while never coming up to us directly. It was simply rude and smug and awful customer service. Please tell me if I’m wrong but I would NEVER make passive aggressive comments to a customer who can clearly hear me. Especially when you don’t even know what’s happening.

Typical dollar general, but the staff are friendly and helpful, they've checked the back and found items for me before. Very appreciated 😌

I went in with my service dog, as soon as I walked in they told me dogs weren't allowed, I told them he was a service dog, they told me repeatedly he wasn't because he had to have a vest, I told them they should know the law, both employees yelled at me, told me to shut up multiple times, had customers yelling at me! I continued to get money put on my card, told the guy who yelled at me but was waiting on me,I would print the ADA laws, the lady continued to yell at me to shut up! Then called the cops on me! I called corporate and explained this to them, they asked for her name but she wouldn't tell it to me or if she was the manager just yelled shut up and get out of my store! Cops arrived while I was talking to corporate tried telling me she could make me leave, they too were wrong, corporate was not happy to hear any of this, neither was the ADA and the employees won't be either when they are fired! Already disliked this site, but it's the closest one and I don't have a vehicle so I have to walk...I will be going back though, with my service dog!

I have been in that store more in the last 6 months or so and since the first few times just thought oh ya they are short on staff and such but clearly they need all new staff including the management honestly management is to blame for most all of it ... Shelf's never stocked, stacked boxes of merchandise all over store if someone was handicap or in a wheelchair/walker came in they would not be able to shop always just trash all over shelf's empty boxes ppl have opened and threw up there.... The stores disgusting.. The outside well no words on how trashed that is always surprised city has not fined them yet!! Sad story really because if they tried it be nice bit i think its just laziness I think any way I'd just go to a diff dollar store for sure

It’s been 2 months since I went in there but the store was always in a mess and there was always a line with one checker because the other register was always broken. For a while they only took cash. The cashiers are super nice. They are understaffed because whoever is in charge of the money doesn’t seem to care about how it affects the store. I won’t go back in there Other Dollar stores are great

Staff is nice but the shelfs are never stocked, products always in aisles on carts in the way waiting to be stocked on shelf and card machines at check out hardly ever work right and check out line is always long cause not enough cashiers.

They have two way to leave the parking lot that isn't straight out onto the busy hwy 53. They also have dollar coupons that I used on getting laundry soap. I saved 6 dollars on the 12 dollars I spent. So I figured 6 dollars for three bags of laundry soap packets is not bad.

The Cashier was nice. The store was kind of overcrowded with stuff in the aisles it was kind of hard to make your way around . They were having problems with the card reader reading them debit cards.

Store was very busy but cashiers moved pretty fast. 4 stars simply due to out of stocks. Definitely should spend more on stock help

I like Dollar General because it is the antithesis to Walmart. Easier to get into and easier to get out of, with most household needs met at comparable prices. I'm grateful for the many locations scattered around our little piece of Southeast, Mo.

A bit of a disappointment. It sure is a busy store. The parking lot was a mess though. Not clearly marked parking. Once inside, the store is huge and had a pretty nice variety, but it was in disarray. The employees sure were nice though!

Agrivates me when I try to use my digital coupons, I know there on my acct, your lines are too long , not enough help, then my coupons didn't work and I didn't get proper sale off prices, merchandise rang up different than tagged in the store. HIRE. MORE. HELP

It's a mess and a joke they should get someone who knows how to properly run a store and get a staff that can take the stuff of the retainer carts and put them on a shelf.

3 or 4 times they have forgotten to give me all of my bags. So, I have to turn around and go all the back and get the rest of my purchase. Not Happy

Understaffed. Always junk in the iles Couponers hog the line. Company cuts costs to take advantages of people who are desperate for jobs and rake in all the money at top.

This place is a joke, the staff is rude and almost refuses to help with anything. I would rather pay more and deal with people who don't act like it's a problem to be there.

This was/is the worst Dollar General I've ever had the displeasure of shopping at. This is solely due to the manager (as of about a year and a few months ago) being an immature, and ignorant @%:=&.

Workers there are rude and yes i walked in there with a backpack but i was behind a female that had a purse bigger then my bag and she demanded i take my bag off and put it next to her
