This place is fantastic. The decor is classy and comfy. Plus they are dog friendly. Our furry guy was even given a pup cup when we brought him inside.All of the food was delicious and was brought out really fast.Everything was so great that we even grabbed a coffee and tea to go.Highly recommend stopping here if you are in the area.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp to get in and plenty of space around and between tables.

I got the berry nutty fruity salad and an ube milk. I liked the dressing that came with the salad and they give you plenty of dressing. The portion for salad is big as well and there are sugar-coated nuts everywhere. I liked thr ube milk as well, but the amount of ice they put in was ridiculous. More than half of it was ice and look how much ice was left after I finished after 40 min.

My wife and I stopped at the bread + butter cafe for dinner during our stop over in Poplar Bluff. If you go there, you MUST order the bread + butter appetizer. These light and fluffy buns and their special butter mixture are amazing!! The buns were about 4 inches round and the butter,....well, we needed a second serving. My wife had the Avocado bowl, and I had the Cobb salad. The salads were large and full of fresh ingredients. The Avocado bowl had black beans, corn, cheese, on a bed of avocado with Chipotle dressing, and a side of corn chips. The cobb salad had lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, bacon, and egg, and I chose breaded chicken. The dressing was ranch. The server, Shae, was a delight, friendly, warm, and just the right amount of checking to see how we were doing. We don't think you would be disappointed if you had the chance to visit.

.What an unexpected pleasure!We've been on a motorcycle for 15 days, from Richmond Virginia to the Grand Canyon, now heading back east. We are trying to stay off interstates and highways as much as we can and we have run through a gazillion small towns where most restaurants are much of the same, different variations.bread & butter has that hip feel, in an industrial, warehouse like setting. They offer an eclectic, unique spin on regular dishes. A burger with a waffle for a bun, waffle cut sweet potato fries, for example.I had the mushroom swiss burger with sweet potato fries. Left nothing on my plate! My companion had a ham and cheese that had 2 or 3 different cheeses and potato salad. He left nothing behind, either.Our waitress was friendly, attentive and efficient. Dinner arrived quickly.They also have some amazing looking deserts, although we didn't have any. I also really liked the t-shirts!A nice change from the usual

Bread + Butter was a refreshing stop after traveling.There is a good variety of wraps, sandwiches (hot & cold), soups, salads, coffees, etc.It's just a tad pricey, but worth it.Our service was spot on, friendly, patient, & speedy. The food was delish...I did have a cheddar broccoli soup that I felt was a tad bland, and my onion rings could have been a tiny but crisper with more seasoning. Everything else, from appetizers to main dishes, coffee and desserts - fabulous!All in my family highly recommend 'bread+butter'...if you are in Poplar Bluff, Missouri - stop and have some great food in a welcoming atmosphere.

We Drove almost 2 hrs out of our way. WELL WORTH THE TRIP. First service was amazing, everyone was very nice. Decor Rustic Modern, simplistic which I enjoyed. Now to the food. All the breads appear to be made fresh in house.AppetizersCheese fries are very good, Ranch is better than hidden valley.Bread and butter. Fresh baked rolls wonderful with honey, cinnamon butter.BLAT, Normal BLT with avocado on sourdough toast. Choice of American Swiss or Provolone. My wife had provolone. She said it's was amazing and fresh.Cheese curds. The breading on these things will make your tongue beat your brain out. They are amazing as well.Mushroom and Swiss with Mac and cheese. It's one of the best M&S burgers I've ever had. I have had them from all over the country. Mac and cheese was good as well.DrinksCampfire coffee was delicious but a little cool for my taste. Hot should be really hot. That's the only bad thing I have about this place and that's really not that bad cause the flavor was amazing.Sticky bun iced coffee.Taste better than Cinnabon.Price: It is a little bit higher than what I expected, however the freshness of the food and obviously above average ingredients make it well worth the cost.If your in the Poplar Bluff area and you don't stop. You can't claim the foodie title.

So exciting to have a place in Poplar Bluff with great food and cocktails for the whole family. Star grilled cheese, colors, and free goldfish snacks for the little one. For the adults there’s tons to choose from: Ube latte is delicious! The fried pickle fries are so yummy! Favorite cocktail is the Aviation! Great food and service every time, I’ll be back.

We stopped in as a part of the "Eclipse Tourism" wave in April 2024. Another site had B&B as the best restaurant in Poplar Bluff. Gotta say, it _was_ very good! We had the Italian sandwich, the turkey wrap and the "waffle cristo". All seemed to be carefully hand-made and very fresh. We had a tough time choosing our meal, because the menu was pretty big!Service was friendly enough; the servers didn't wear name tags--but the floor had plenty of folks on it in case you needed something.Atmosphere was casual....the place is big and spacious. If you're looking for intimacy and quiet, then go somewhere else. There is a big "party" room available if you want a private event.One bit of criticism: B&B has some nice big TVs that rotate pictures of their menu items...but not all of those menu items are available even if they are on display! I got all wound up for some delicious peach cobbler cheesecake....and they didn't have any! LOL.Oh well, overall the experience was an "A", and if B&B continues in this tradition, it will be a Poplar Bluff mainstay for many more years.

Had lunch here while passing through on our way to Arkansas. It was a little chaotic inside, end of the lunch rush. We waited for a few minutes to be seated which wasn’t a problem. Our waitress was friendly and took our order quickly. We received our drinks quickly, my tea was good but my wife’s water was horrible. We waited a bit for our food (lunch rush), I had the Pork pork chick and it was really good! My wife had club sandwich and it was good. Both of us had fries and they were Luke warm. They would have been great if they were hot but didn’t bother sending them back. I ordered a plain black coffee for the road but when I finally got a chance to taste it it tasted like hazelnut (yuck). I gave 3 stars because our food was pretty good but I think they need to hire another waitress to help out.

My daughter and I tried out Bread+Butter because we kept hearing how good the food was there. We were not disappointed. I had one of the best mushroom swiss burgers I've ever had. The broccoli was incredibly flavorful. My daughter had the Caesar wrap with potato soup. It came with a roll, too. Sure really liked the wrap but the soup was the star. It was simple, rustic, fresh, and rich with flavor. I gave her some of my broccoli and she added that to the few bites of the soup. Delicious meals all around.Next time we will leave room for dessert. Some of the treats being delivered to other tables looked very tempting. Ha!

Dropped by on our way home from vacation, and it was a delightful experience! The atmosphere was wonderful, and the food was quite good. The kids' meal menu stood out – they even let the kids choose the shape of their sandwich, which was adorable. Ended the visit with a delicious chai tea latte. Definitely worth a stop!Kid-friendliness: Great kids menu with several options and allows the kids to pick their sandwich shape!

Food was very good. Reason I'm rating so low is because I've been over charged by waitress, or mystery computer glitch, adding something we didn't order, not once but twice. I've gotten the bill adjusted accordingly but had to go through a bit of an ordeal with the cashier and manager to fix. Watch your bill closely before paying. Had my companion and I not caught it at the table before paying there would have been nothing I could have done.

My Grandson and I's most favorite place to enjoy dinner. He enjoys the sliders, the broccoli and of course the cookie. Service is always polite, and on top of everything. The music is graceful and the food is always A+. I have not tried the coffee bar. I will though.Kid-friendliness: The highchairs need to be replaced immediately. The next time we come I am bringing our portable highchair to put my Grandson in so I don't stress out every time he wiggles. :)

My little family and I stopped for a meal along our road trip home. We wanted something that wasn’t fast food and a place we could stretch our legs. We found something even better. Our server (Honey) was the most friendly and welcoming. Our meals were great! My husband loved his burger, I loved my wrap and my son loved his hot ham & cheese sandwich. We all loved the fries, perfectly crisp! Would definitely be back!

We had my daughter's baby shower here! The sandwiches were very good the salad was excellent! I didn't give it 5 stars because we ask for potato soup for my mother because she had had her teeth pulled for dentures and they didn't tell us it had bacon bits in it! She couldn't eat it and said it didn't taste right!

I got the Mac and Cheese Burger and it was delicious, getting it with extra bacon and jalapeño next time. I don't remember the name of the food my husband got but it was a burger and fries smothered in Cheese sauce. He loved it and I enjoyed a bite, too.Also got some Mac and Cheese for my 7mo son and shared my fries with him. He enjoyed both. Waitress was lovely and even helped pick up my sons toy when he threw it. My only problem was the lack of a changing table! I had to go out to my car through the rain and climb into the back of my SUV to change my sons diaper before we sat down to eat.Otherwise, food was great, waitress was great, and definitely coming back.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly but no changing tableWheelchair accessibility: I didn't notice any ramps or anything that would make it wheelchair accessible. Plenty of room by tables for a chair though.

Cool modern eatery. Creative menu with everything from breakfast to dinner along with desserts, coffee bar, and alcohol bar. I ordered the Cuban with Pickle Fries and my wife ordered the BLAT and Berry Nutty Salad. Cuban is a Missouri version with soft non grilled bread and pulled pork. Pickle fries were the best I’ve had anywhere. BLAT was good and salad was very good. Will come back for sure.

When we first came in, it was a little confusing, because this is the kind of place where you grab a menu and choose what you want and then order at the register. Then they bring it to your table. Once we figured that part out we were good to go. The service was fast and friendly and the food was delicious.

Service: very slow. Server was nice when she came to our table but that place needs better staffing. I don’t want to wait 15 minutes to order.Atmosphere: acoustic is terrible. Feels like a canteen hall.Food:The only good thing was the coffee. The bread rolls aren’t anything more than toast bread in a roll form. The sandwich was nothing special and worst of all the fruit cup. Paid 2.50 extra to upgrade to a “premium” side. The fruit was disgustingly mushy. If you offer fruit it should be fresh.I’m really disappointed. I really was looking forward to this place but never again.

I just spent an hour in line. I was the third car in line. It took an hour to get through three cars. I got a meal for me and a meal for my sister. I got their broccoli cheddar soup in a bread bowl and the mile high brownie. She got the naked burger, broccoli cheddar soup, and a baked potato and ASKED and PAID EXTRA FOR cheese, broccoli, and bacon. Each cost ranged from $0.69-$2.19 and there is a picture of what she got. The soup was chunky, not done, and cold. The bread bowl tasted like it had sat there all day. The mile high brownie that I got was two cold brownies and a scoop of ice cream. Mind you this two brownies and ice cream cost me almost $7. Also my meal alone cost $17 and my sisters was $27. We didn’t get receipts and the prices didn’t add up. We are HIGHLY!!!! dissatisfied!!! This was a waste of money and a waste of time. The person at the window was literally on his personal phone talking to a friend and took 3 minutes to count back $3 for a $20 because he was on the phone. I tried calling the business and they did not answer. There is no way I’ll ever come back. There is no way I’ll ever recommend anyone here either. The entire thing was extremely sloppy and unprofessional!
