Had a great visit with Dr. Parks & staff for my senior chi mix who'd been having some sinus infection issues. It's a walk-in clinic which is great because we're from out of town and it was easy to get in. We were in and out fast and treated well, all with affordable prices. And our Fran is doing 100% better. 🏆

It was so nice to be treated like our pet was the main issue instead of all about money! I was treated like a person instead of like a cash machine as I had been at out at the new place on Shelby Rd!Dr. Parks' staff are GREAT!! Loved their attitudes!

The doctor and staff and very friendly, helpful and knowledgable. I took my 7 year German Shepherd and 4 year old cat to the vet today and I had a very pleasant experience. My dog is nice but high energy and they worked AMAZING with him. My cat was not stressed and neither of my animals were aware that they had even received their vaccinations. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

So uncaring and unfeeling. I was quoted a prior to putting my elderly sick cat Sox down when I brought him in for a second opinion of evaluating his condition. I was quoted a price of $40 if I took the body home. I paid $118 that day 4 days later after a rough night with my beloved furball I bought him back to o end his suffering and after the shot was given I had to ask the vet to double check cause I could still hear his breathing. I asked for a box to carry him out with. I went to pay and they told me it was now $90. I said that just 4 days ago they told me it was $40 she left and came back out and said $50. So I was charged an extra $10 in my grief and tears for a small used box with only half a lid. So uncaring and unfeeling. I still miss my snuggly cat.

My daughter and I were in P.B. this past weekend...and she found a pup about 3-4 months old. Called on Monday, the 8th. No answer...just a recording saying there was no room for new animals. It made us wonder IF anyone was there at all to take care of the animals that were there.

Been going to Dr. Parks for years. No matter what issue our animals have, Dr. Parks is always very caring and knows exactly what needs to be done. All of the staff I have worked with have all been great, prices are pretty fair as well.

5 years ago a German sheppard got ahold of my 4 mo old min pin, she tore through his intestines with 1 tooth. DR parks savid his life. Now he has saved the life of my 15 yr old min pin. He has been diagnosed with diabetes, but Dr. Parks quick thinking and knowing just what to do in a crisis has savid Zeus life. THANKS DR. PARKS AND STAFF!

Took my 10 year old "Chug" (Chihuahua/Pug mix) in for a teeth extraction procedure on 8/29/22. Dropped her off at 6am and received a call @1pm to come pick her up. Dr. Parks performed a fabulous surgery and ended up having to extract 6 teeth in total. He sent us home with an antibiotic for Pugsly and just a few days later, back to her normal self. He couldn't give me a very accurate price estimate prior to the surgery because he said you can't be certain until he starts cleaning the teeth but gave a ballpark estimate at consultation. Final cost was $225. Thank you Dr. Parks and staff.

Don’t take your animals here. I took my cat there to get spayed. They said she was asleep still. I brought her home in an animal cage. Wanted to move her head away from the cage. She was stiff and cold as hell. If you love your animals DONT go there.. Boo kitty love you so much

Dr. Parks is so nice and caring, hes not in it to win it. He's there to care... lol that wasn't even intended. I thought my baby had 1 spot from a dog fight. She had several more. Him and his crew found them.

Took my older pup to get checked for infection. The waiting room was fairly full. But didn't wait long. We also didn't need to make an appointment for this. She was a bit of a walk-in. So I expected to wait. Not only were they nice, they were very helpful and fast. Dr. Parks was nice and treated our old girl promptly and with care. The front desk lady was very busy but still held conversations with everyone. The bill was very reasonable!

I had a six-month-old male American Staffordshire terrier that came down with parvo even though I had given him 2 5/1 vaccinations that I bought from the local feed store and he was a very healthy dog to start with, however, if it wasn't for Dr Parks,Lucas, Becky and the staff at this clinic I know without a doubt he wouldn't have made it.I highly recommend this clinic for all of your dogs needs. You don't need an appointment and they get you right in and out for a very reasonable amount.Thanks again and God bless you all.

They were the sweetest vet we have ever gone to, they actually care and will talk to u, and explained everything and there prices are better then any other vet we have gone to. I'm glad I found them we will NOT BE GOING ANYWHERE ELSE.!!!!!!

Dr.parks is very caring and his male assistant got my Abby out of my car and was very gentle picking her up she was in pain and I could not lift her.The whole staff there was very caring.I had to put my Abby girl down and is really broke my heart.Abby just turned 7 this month. I had her cremated and the staff was very great explaining it to me.Abby was my assistant German Shepherd and I will miss her deeply.Thank You Dr.Parks and all the staff for taking care of my best friend Abby girl.

Dr.James Park. Is One of the best veterinarians in poplar bluff.mo. I have been using animal Care center for around 40 years Dr Parks is kind and gentle with the animals always let you know what's going on with your pet recently I had no other choice but to put down one of my loving pets that I had had for 16 years Dr Parks was very good she never knew what was going on I am so thankful for his knowledge of how to do to make your pets comfortable also his staff are very kind and caring and if I have any more issues that requires a veterinary Dr Parks is where I'll go thanks again to the animal Care center for everything

The people here are amazing. The handler is great with all my shepards. Most people are scared of my dogs but they absolutely love him. Parks cares so much for his patients and will do everything possible to save your fur baby! Oh and let me add the lady up front is the bomb dot com!

If I could have rated this vet a minus 10 I would!!!! He saw my 13 year old dog in the morning, gave him all kinds of shots and medication, cost me $252!! My poor dog could barely walk, I asked him if I shouldn't put him down, he said let's wait and see. My poor dog struggled that night to go outside and collapsed. I spent all night with him outside because he couldn't get up. I talked to this vet the next morning, he said, yea I thought it was probably his kidneys and liver shutting down. I had to take my poor dog to an emergency vet to have him put to sleep. I am beyond upset!!!!

Favorite veterinarian place. I love my animals very much and I'm picky about what vet I take them too. This place made me feel like they actually care about the animals and made me feel comfortable bringing my animals to them. Very friendly place great customer service and I would highly recommend them to anyone!Still my favorite vet won't go anywhere else!Always leave this vet feeling good and happy.
