Most Dollar Generals are messy, chaotic, long waits for checkout ~not this one!! Clean, well organized, happy, helpful staff. Large selection of cold items, some produce, with excellent prices. I could tell the staff took pride in their store.

I have nothing against the store except i bought a bag of balloons for them to put helium in they charged me 12$ for them picked them up at 10 am drove them to the party in liberty and by 1pm they were laying on the floor, the party started at 2. I will never buy balloons there again worthless..I had to make a trip to party warehouse for balloons.

The Dollar general in Polo has produce, a bigger freezer section and more selection. I like it for that reason. I go to my local Dollar general usually though because they know me and I can always ask questions or get help.

Most of the time this place is ok.. but lately its gotten very frustrating the prices are never what they show on the shelf.. and the "sales".. 2 for 5 on something that normally is 2.00 apiece?It's like people see that sale sign and think they got a good deal but really got overcharged.

Worst store I ever been my entire life! Went to buy 5 balloons for my sons birthday 15 minutes before closing standing patiently in line & manager refused to blow 5 balloons for my son saying register is closing and takes too long to blow them and should have came earlier instead! Who would do something like that for a child’s birthday? Dollar General in Polo, MO is the worst! It breaks my heart not having any balloons to surprise my son in the morning for his special day ;/

Very nice staff and helpful. Store was clean. Store has fresh fruit and veggies like a mini - Walmart! But better because it's country.
