The first time I ate from this establishment I ordered a special to take out. After arriving home to eat I discovered the meal had more salt than an ordinary salt shaker has. When I called to complain I was asked to please come back and give them another chance. So today I felt like trying again. I walked I'm and sat down at the counter noticing the A//C wasn't working. I thought no big deal. I'll get something cold to drink and I'll be fine. 15 minutes later I decided to leave since not a soul even noticed I walked in. After leaving a comment on their social media I was accused twice of lying. First accusation was that the 15 minutes was an exaggeration. The second was that I wasn't even there at all. Eventually my comment was deleted by staff. This isn't good service or good management

Kenney's has the best tenderloin sandwich ever. Thick, crunchy & moist on the inside. Will definitely go back. Waitress Alivia was real pleasure also. Very courteous & kind and always had a smile on her face. Willing to talk to the customers. Enjoyed talking with her.

One of my go to spots. Just about everything is delicious. The nachos, burgers, and chicken fried chicken (a little on the salty side) never disappoint. The bartender is nice and friendly, despite her affiliation to a traitorous cult, but that’s to be expected in small town Missouri.

Drove from Liberty area Saturday nite called first to make sure kitchen was still open. Kitchen was open until 9pm and told them our arrival would be around 8:30 and we were told that would be fine. It’s located downtown in a Main Street atmosphere mid block of brick buildings really neat exposed brick inside with totally revamped floors,bar,bathrooms and big screen TVs etc. Casual but very clean and comfortable. Everyone must’ve been next door listening to live music outside as we were the only customers, had a nice conversation w the owner and bartender and decided on two of their most popular meals the Kayloin for me and Prime Melt for her! Kayloin cooked perfectly and just a bit bigger than the bun made it easy to eat (some have to be cut, folded or whatever to eat sometimes) toppings are huge but fresh and perfect mate to the tenderloin. Her Prime Melt was tender and really delicious felt like we got the choice one since they weren’t busy, haha but it was really good did I say tender ? With right amount of char! She had a White Russian it was good a little outside our usual but we enjoyed it, beer selection was limited to Bud, Bud Light and Mich Ultra but was fine. Enjoyed the drive to Plattsburgh and it was worth it, Bartender was was polite and attentive and Owner was nice to talk to, found out we have mutual interests and he was going to my cousins bar n grill for Chiefs game the next day! We will be back Thanks for a great evening

I asked to change the channel on the TV because it was on a news station I didn't like. We were the only customers in there, and none of the staff seemed to mind. Our waitress was not happy.My food immediately made me sick after left. We had ordered cheese sticks, and the sauce was in a plastic container with the foil lid torn off. I had the fried chicken sandwich, and it had a big tendon in the center I had to cut out. That was about half of my sandwich.This was our second time there, and neither time the staff (different each time) seemed happy we were there. We walked in and felt like we were interrupting something.

Really friendly. The food is wonderful. I had the Kayloin which is a tenderloin with grilled bacon and cheese, tomato and onions! Terrific. Husband had prime rib and loved it. Menu changes but always good ! Just what Plattsburg needs!

We were at Kennedy's with a large group of friends today. The food and service were exemplary. When requested items were not available, substitutions were made with no charge to the customer. Two of us split the tenderloin sandwich, and it was plenty. The tenderloin was well seasoned and very tender. We were also offered additional drinks to go. We would definitely a return trip to Smithville just for this restaurant.

We have lived in Plattsburg for a few weeks. Our new home is being remodeled, so Kennedy's has been a frequent spot for my family of 6. We eat there about 3x a week all times of the day. The food is amazing, atmosphere makes you feel right at home, and the staff has been phenomenal. No matter who our waitress/cook has been, they have always been awesome.

40 minutes. still waiting for food. only customer here. just moved to Plattsburgh. not good service, got food it was awesome so we did go back 4 more times. food was ok 2nd time, then went downhill after that it was awful too much salt. complained about it and they would not even remake or do anything about it. I don't recommend this place. will not go back

We went to Kennedy's tonight for the first time in Smithville. We had an friendly server who did a great job. We felt bad for her, she felt horrible and actually left the restaurant upset at the end of our visit.Nice spread on the menu though they only had a handful of things. Tweaking their menu they said. The kitchen/cook needs desperate help. This place was not ready to open at all. We were there for nearly 90 mins. before our food was finally came out and my husband's burger was undercooked by more than 50%. Management had no explanation or apology to customers for the wait, never came around to the tables to talk to customers or explain the delay(s). Before our food came out, half of our party had to leave, their 2 yr. old just couldn't sit any longer.After eating, when we asked to speak to management, we felt like management was dodging us, that she was avoiding coming over to our table all together. When we did speak, all she wanted to start with was all of the excuses for their slowness. Management needs to listen first to customers and not start off with reasons/excuses for poor service. She explained they had only been open three weeks and were trying. She did offer to comp us for the burger but also said "didn't you guys get wings" which we did as a gesture from the server after 90 mins. waiting. Geez, thanks. Total time there equaled two hours. It was one of those experiences where you couldn't leave quick enough. It will be a while before we consider going back, if at all. If this restaurant wants to make a go of it and last, they better step up their game. Otherwise, they'll be closed by Labor Day.

The food and atmosphere are great. Took my two teenage girls there for dinner. They were both impressed and that rarely happens!
