Cathy needs to work on her customer service skills. She was exceedingly rude and ill mannered. I have never been treated worse by an employee in my 60 years of shopping. Her behavior was absolutely disgusting and I will never be returning to this location again.

If you enjoy rude old women who turn every transaction into a power struggle with the customer, then this is the store for you. Also seems like the older employees treat the younger employees like they're stupid, and they're always kind of rude to them.

I just waited behind 4 other cars in the pharmacy drive thru. I was the last car in the line. When i pulled up to the window, instead of helping me, they put up the “pharmacist unavailable” sign. Right in my face. They couldn’t have taken THE ONLY OTHER CAR WAITING. This was after waiting for 20ish minutes on those other 4 cars to be served.

Drive-thru for pharmacy has been broken for many many months.They always say there is an order for it to be fixed but the last time, they said it has to be rebuilt AND they don't know when that will be! (People with compromised immune systems are having to expose themselves to illnesses unnecessarily. People with injuries are having to get out of their vehicles & go inside!)Their automated system is awful! Received a call today to see if I wanted 2 prescriptions refilled... it said press one for yes, two for no, for the first prescription....I pressed two after it told me the 1st prescription & the automated system hung without asking about or telling me what the 2nd prescription was.Also, at the end of May, I received an automated call on Thursday that the prescriptions are ready for pick-up. We made a special trip on Friday (we are rural, it's not around the corner) only to find that the pharmacy was CLOSED!Not cool Walgreens!I would still have recommended Walgreens, even with the continually broken drive-thru but when their automated system calls to tell you your prescriptions are ready, gives you their hours & lunch break time and you drive special to pick them up & find they are closed- that is NOT okay!

Giving 2 stars. Definitely the most unprofessional Walgreens I've ever been to. Went in about an hour or 2 ago to get some emergency shampoo and conditioner. When I walked in we were greeted with "welcome to" and then giggles about who was going to finish the sentence. Then nobody did. So now it's nice and awkward and all the EMPLOYEES (2 women and a man) start playing ball in the store. I found what I needed and waited patiently for the ball game to end so I could get the h*** out and shower. It was late. When I put my stuff up at the register the lady didn't even ring it up. Just stared at me. Didn't say anything. After some time went by I awkwardly pushed my items close to her. This establishment could definitely use some actual employees. Only giving 2 stars because I was able to get what I came for.

The Platte City Walgreens has some of the nicest people that work there, they remember me and always ask how i am doing and how my dog "Rookie" is doing. The store is clean and bright. Great group of people that work there, keep it up!

I brought 2 of my kids here to get flu shots on two different occasions. It was so quick and easy, especially compared to another location I took another one of my kids. We were in and out very quickly!

After reoccurring visits to this store, I have always recieved excellent service with a cashier named Cassandra. Additionally, she helped with my point reward as well as helped locate multiple items throughout the holidays and with my photos. With reasonable price a helpful customer service I recommend this store.

Called about the availability of a product, and was met with the rudest middle aged women I’ve ever met. It’s extremely rare that I complain about these things, but this just wasn’t acceptable. I’m not sure she even looked. She gave me rude snarky remarks the entire conversation, and in the end hung up on me after I was nothing but kind. Absolutely unacceptable service.

Just left the Platte City Walgreens after purchasing a flu shot. I was told the high dose vaccine was "on nationwide back order" so went with the regular version. Thought with was odd so called another location in Gladstone. Was advised it was in stock and just stop by before 10:00 pm to get it. Obviously not happy about this and fail to understand why the poor advice. I just gave up a 24% better protection vaccine on inaccurate advise.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating, helped me find what I needed and gave me a discount when an item was on the wrong shelf. It’s so refreshing to interact with kind people!

I was there last night, the girl tried to charge me twice for an item. She fixed it. I had a coupon for 5.00 off of 20.00. She didn't know how to take it of, then she decided she'd void 5.00. I said that won't work you had to spend 20 to use the coupon. People are lining up. She says, she has to get the manager. I said, forget it. Just give my coupon back. She says, she doesn't know how. I emailed the store. No response. Wow.

Great pharmacy! There is always someone there to help if you have questions or concerns. At times when I go there straight after seeing the doctor, they always put a rush on my order and have my medicine ready as soon as possible.

Employees are nice but Walgreens is soo very high priced!! You can get milk for like 4 dollars there when at a grocery store or Walmart you can buy it for two something. Makeup is the same way. Soooo overpriced!!! If you're going to go here be prepared to spend a lot and wayy more than you will at Walmart or anywhere else.

While this Walgreen store is OK, the Walgreen website is not user friendly, is hard to use and extremely slow. The only thing worse, is their answering machine. Come'on Corporate Walgreens.
