My husband and I were in town briefly and needed to have our sweet Mia groomed. I called Red Woof Inn and had a nice conversation with Sarah (I believe). She told me to bring Mia down along with proof of her Rabies Vaccine. We dropped her off and picked her up when she was ready. The cost was $45 and Mia got a bath and full groom. She also had her nails grinded. We were very pleased with how she looked on top of the great customer service we received. We will absolutely visit again when come back to the area.

Staff is friendly, but groomer is sub par at best. The cut our doodle got was extremely uneven, looked very rushed and as if no care was taken at all. Photos were sent in of what we wanted and what got was NOTHING like the pictures. Sara however was very apologetic to the situation and did refund our money. I've heard wonderful things about their doggy daycare and boarding, just not grooming. Left 4 stars because the rest of the staff and Sara were kind and helpful with our situation.

This was the first time boarding our dogs and I will not be taking them back here. The place looked dirty and smelled like dog pee. Our dogs and their toys also smelled like pee. The price was reasonable and the staff was nice. However, I will find a different boarding facility.

We will miss this place so much now that we are moving. Have been using them exclusively this past year. Wish we could take them with us Mariah and everyone here made us feel like we were leaving Zoey with family. They show her so much love and attention. She absolutely loves going there and gets crazy excited to see them. They do a seriously amazing job with her coat. We notice much less shedding after the defurminator treatments and no skin irritation afterwards, which has not been the case with other groomers. The drop off and pick up service is also a huge convenience, very reliable, and so reasonably priced. Zoey always comes back beautiful, happy, and tired from having the time of her life at her hair appointments.

Best place ever for our dogs to be boarded. They were so spoiled. The space they had for their visit is amazing. I have no worries when they are there.

This review took awhile to write because we wanted it to be constructive and not given out of anger. We have concerns for this establishment because of our experience with them. On February 11th between 6-8pm (the story changed from the first time I got the call) Red Woof Inn lost our dog. My dog was without a collar, which I didn’t consent to it being removed. They took my dog outside to go to the bathroom and he got spooked and ran away from the employee. My family was NOT notified until 12am (4-6 hours) later that our dog was lost and they could not find him anywhere. We came straight home and searched till 3:30am. The next day my family was out for 8 hours searching by car/foot. We didn’t once see cars with the windows down calling his name or people walking around searching for him. The ensured they were searching too. On Monday at 3pm TWO full days after he went missing they posted on their Red Woof FB account he was missing and made flyers. My family had already hung flyers around town because we weren’t waiting, we had also posted on every account we could about missing pets, and called 30 plus shelters. Thankfully, on the 14th our dog was located by a stranger who saw my post and called me to return my dog. We understand accidents happen, but this facility having no protocol for when a dog is missing because it’s never happened was irresponsible. Most people have never been in a building fire but have practiced how to get out in case it happens. It did not feel like they were rushed to get out flyers, posting, or even alerting us to his disappearance. I understand it was the weekend and not everyone wanted to come in on a Sunday but our dog was out missing in the cold and we needed him home. This business is not terrible I understand they love dogs and want to provide the caring service but they need a lost dog protocol and need to leave dog collars on when they take them outside, even if it’s a hassle. Before taking your dog here, check with them what their plan is to keep your dog safe and their protocol for if they’re lost. I hope this never happens again to another family here, and this heartbreaking experience helped them learned what to do better in the future.

They took great care of our dog, Remy while we were out of town. So grateful for the Red Woof Inn! We also loved seeing pictures of her playing and looking so happy while we were away, it definitely helped my kids (and my husband and myself!) feel much better about her not being with us. We also had them groom and cut her nails, she looked and smelled great! thank you!!! We will definitely use Red Woof Inn next time. They put our minds at ease!

We love the Red Woof Inn, like really really love them!! I take my 14 year old German Shepherd and 11 black lab to day camp 5 days a week. Sara and Emily are AMAZING, and I don't know what I would do without them! They give my senior dogs so much attention and love, they treat them like family! A couple weeks ago my Shepherd woke up with a slipped disk (he has had spine issues for a while) I dropped him off at day camp, let Sara know what was going on and she did a great job of monitoring him throughout the day. They next day I took him to the vet and by 10AM Sara had called me to check on him. That act of kindness solidifies why I take them there. They really do care about the wellbeing of your pet and that's all I could ask for! I can't leave my dogs home alone anymore because my Shepherd needs to be monitored and I will happily use The Red Woof Inn for as long as I need to. I know my dogs are being taken care of and loved whenever they are there! Thank you to everyone at The Red Woof Inn, we love you guys like family!! ❤️

We take our 5 month old pup here 2-3 days a week. He's been visiting his friends at the Red Woof Inn since he was 12 weeks old and has loved every visit. He's loved, spoiled, and treated like family by everyone there! We also had to unexpectedly board him over a long weekend and are so thankful The Red Woof Inn had an opening for him. We know we never have to worry when he is there. The facility is clean and inviting and the staff is friendly and they all truly love animals.

It's not just a daycare, it's a family. They love your pups as much as you do and care for them the same. They are great at figuring out who will play well and who needs a break. They really care. It's clean and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly.

Great job! While visiting the area, we needed a groomer for a quick job. Lo, and behold right here in little Platte City we found a gem!Sarah and Kelsi were immediately available and did a wonderful job! Thanks ladies! I'd recommend Red Woof Inn in Platte City, Missouri to everyone!

A big shout out to The Red Wolf Inn! My dog, Arwen,gets spoiled rotten when she stays in their kennel which means, no cage! Free to be around other dogs and special TLC by the staff and they offer coupons for free nail- trimming and discounts for boarding. They're the best!!!!

I was researching for a groomer near me that would hopefully be less expensive. When I called, Sara was very kind, answering all questions knowledgably. I decided to give them a try (full haircut for Bichon Frise) and was able to get Max in the next week. They did a great job and every staff member I encountered was friendly and professional.
