I went in today paid 60 dollars for a prescription skin care treatment and when I got home so I could apply the medication it was already open including the metal seal. I was also supposed to mix two products together that would come in that package however I don’t know if the previous user already mixed it in or if the other product was lost. I don’t write reviews but 60 dollars for something I can’t use now. I am going in tomorrow to get a replacement.

Sheri, the lead pharmacist at this location was beyond rude in the drivethru. I cannot say one nice word. I was attempting to get a perscription that she reportedly did not have on hand. She could not provide me with a pharmacy that had the medicine nor the name of my prescription. I was not able to give her my insurance information as she was rushing me. I sat there while I contacted my doctor after she informed me they did not have it. She told me to go somewhere else after trying to seek guidance on next steps. I went into the store pharmacy and she interrupted my service with another employee to yell about the engagement at the drive thru. Sheri was the most unprofessional staff member I have encountered in 25 years and I will be switching my pharmacy due to how she handled the situation.

I had a flu shot scheduled for my son and myself today at 6pm. We arrived 10 minutes early, only to be told that the pharmacist had to leave early and therefore my appointment was canceled. I was informed that the pharmacist attempted to call me, and when I got home we did have a hang up on the answering machine on our land line from a Platte City number. However, there was no message and no one contacted me via the email or cell number where I was getting appointment confirmations. After we left, I got the appointment cancellation text.This is terrible customer service and not the first time I have had trouble with the pharmacy here. I will be taking my business elsewhere. Avoid this place, you will be disappointed.I would give 0 stars if that was an option.

Leanndra Thompson answered the phone and was very rude. I have never had an issue with this pharmacy until today. She asked if I have insurance and I said yes she then proceeded to cut me off and tell me well I didn't find it. I advised I was still speaking and my name had recently changed. The pure disrespectful attitude is ridiculous.

I really enjoyed this CVS visit. Because I was purchasing an item kept behind the counter, I was checked out by Elaine. And she was just delightful! She greeted all the customers in line in the same friendly way. She engaged with an elderly guy who was buying a bunch of candy for his wife for their 50th wedding anniversary. I know he appreciated her interest and her congratulations as he joked with her. She made being in line fun. Imagine that! All shops need associates like Elaine!!! Thanks so much.

Sherry is rude, rude, rude. She has no desire to be helpful and treats people as if they are a huge burden just for asking a question. She is hateful, obnoxious and should not work in a position where she interacts with the public. This pharmacy just flat out sucks.

Minute care attending finished a test for Job or DOT requirement test with a patient. No one else is there. Informed me she was booked up until tomorrow. This is Mid day on 061823 Father’s Day, no one’s there.Tells me to come back tomorrow, to hang in there. Needed antibiotics for chest sinus infection. CVS is circling the financial toilet and reviews toilet for a reason.No additional business from our family.

Drove 30 minutes to this location because they were the only store around that had the prescription we needed in stock. The pharmacy staff including the pharmacist were extremely helpful with all of our questions. They seemed to genuinely care that we were getting exactly what we needed. I wish the cvs locations closer to me had this good of customer service and staff!

I can never get a prescription filled in a timely manner here. Almost every time I’ve had the doctor call in a prescription, and I’ve gone to pick it up, they have said that there is no record of the prescription, even when I’m on the phone with the healthcare provider who has said that they called it in. I usually have to request my prescriptions multiple times before I can actually get them filled, which is crazy to me. I would go anywhere else if I could, but this is the closest pharmacy that our insurance takes.

In store service has always been adequate however their customer service on the phone is lacking. Employees do not make any effort to help when a medication is not in stock or is on backorder. Other CVS stores have more helpful employees.

The pharmacy staff are absolutely rude and unhelpful. I do not know if it is overwork, but their behavior is unprofessional. I will be moving my pharmacy needs to the Price Chopper pharmacy going forward.

I've been using this pharmacy for years and the pharmacists are always incredibly rude on the phone. I'm very patient with customer service workers as I've done it a lot and I know it's not easy, but being polite on the phone is not difficult. Respectfully asking for help with a prescription should be responded to with the same respect. I've been hung up on multiple times and it's unacceptable. Something needs to be done.

tell me why i sat on the phone for 40 minutes and still no one picked up. been off my meds for longer than i should have and they shouldn't take so long just to refill something that my nurse says has already been refilled

Today my husband came home from CVS upset. The pharmacist was incredibly rude to him because he came in for a walk-in vaccination. The website for CVS says that walkins are welcome but she said they're busy and have to make appt. That's fine but don't be rude. I was shocked to see how many complaints on Google reviews for the pharmacy staff. Might be time for a change back there. You're losing customers.

Pharmacy staff has the worst customer service. I had to change over to CVS from Walgreen's due to insurance issues for my prescriptions so we thought we would switch the whole family, thinking it would be more convenient. No. The wait times are LONG. Staff acts inconvenienced that you are even there. Just not a good experience all. Husband is switching the kids back to Walgreen's (can't wait to be in good hands with Manager Debbie again) and I will maybe try to go through the insurance pharmacy?

If you would like to argue with your pharmacy staff about whether or not you medically need a prescription that was prescribed to you, or hear demeaning comments from the pharmacy staff about you being upset, this is the pharmacy for you. They have managed to be both incredibly unprofessional, and incredibly incompetent at the basics of their job, and outright confrontational when asked questions. Techs roll their eyes and walk away mid conversation, and the female pharmacist is openly confrontational when confronted with any error. The manager does not return calls about concerns and the front staff refuses to assist with any pharmacy related issues stating that it's not their area. Techs will tell you that they didn't fill a order because they were unstaffed and busy, but have time to chat and argue with customers about otc meds. Genuinely the most unprofessional pharmacy I have ever dealt with and I deal with pharmacies on a regular basis for my work.

Have been getting one prescription for over 10 years due to Cancer, and during that time they have not had it in stock several times, including this latest time which is over 3 days late which causes me to be laid up in bed. But if the insurance pays for it or I have to it’s only over $2300.00 a month. You would think a Company would want to fill that asap. It’s not just one location either.

I called to find out if my prescription was ready after no one called me like they told me they would! Thought they were probably really busy, understandable right Sheri answers the phone ok, I simply asked if my prescription was ready said nothing else. Her immediate response was ”do you have cash to pay for it” she did not say it was ready she just said do you have the cash to pay for it and then she went on to say your insurance company will not cover it! ( now what was funny here is we have refilled this medication for six years same insurance company !) How rude is that so as we continued the conversation with her and providing the correct insurance information which after 24 years they do not have? She took the information put me on hold without saying please hold let me check for you let me see if I can get this to work I don’t know just put me on hold! Came back told me that it was not going through! Now this is the same insurance company we’ve had and used through different Cvs is in town here for 24 years! When I ask her to go through the information she entered she was very rude starting reading off numbers on her end and I had to determine where it applied on my card, and when I didn’t answer quick enough she snapped at me! We’ve dealt with her before she is extremely rude every time we go. The only reason why we used to yes used to go to Platt City CVS was for convenience now we will go out of our way and be excited to be around happy people who are not rude life is too short

Sheri, one of the pharmacy staff members was quite rude and abrupt! Asked a simple question and really got a terrible attitude. How is this permissible in customer service line of work?? Especially the medical field, all other members were very helpful.

The pharmacy is a joke!! They have zero considerations for their customer medical needs. After calling for my refill and showing up a day later to give them time. First they said. They don’t have anything on record. Then they said “ oh we found it” waited 20 mins on the drive thru for them to said. Sorry it is not fill yet you have to come back in 30 mins.

One pharmacy tech does not make this a bad place. There are great ones, too.They have rules they have to follow. I never wait more than 15-20 min to get a script filled unless it is out of stock. The head pharmacist is a sweetie and I always feel like I am taken care of.Update 2019I called yesterday because I was in a loop the insurance company created by requiring a preauthorization, and was without my meds for over 2 weeks. The above tech had my med by the next morning.(today). I truly believe they do the best they can under corporate rules. And sometimes you get back what you give. My rating stays the same as before. Thanks guys!

I would also give this CVS a 0 rating if I could. The staff here are extremely rude. They originally sent the the incorrect/expired prescription over to my new pharmacy (which I don't mind, we are human and all make mistakes). But when asking them to send the newest prescription over, they refused to do so (probably because they were previously providing me medications under the incorrect doctor!). This CVS will give you a headache, so if you go there, take some advil beforehand!!!

I had a COVID test scheduled for 8/14. I am needing the test results as I reside with someone that has emphysema and them being around COVID is a life and death situation. I received a text message AFTER arriving to CVS for my appointment stating that now testing is canceled at this location and I have to reschedule a test and the soonest test I can take is 2 days away from today's date... ARE YOU KIDDING ME? THE APPOINTMENT HAS TO BE RESCHEDULED BECAUSE OF YOU GUYS SO WHY WOULDNT YOU save an appointment date on the same day when it involves something this serious? The negligence CVS HAS shown me today is not acceptable. After being a long time CVS customer I don't think I'll be going back ever again.

Called and asked for a refill, and the pharmacist was absolutely rude on the phone not helpful what so ever. Don't ever go here for your prescriptions. You might have to wait longer at walmart, but at least they treat you like decent human beings. CVS should get better staff.

So we went to another CVS 1st and waited 40 minutes for the nurse to tell us that 1 of the vaccines they didnt carry in that location which is a very common vaccine. We drove to this Platte City location in a hurry and made it 20 minutes before closing. We had a nurse by the last name Roediger. I didnt feel that she was personable or tried to put my child at ease over his mild fear of shots (he had forgotten if they were truly painful since he hadn't needed shots in a while but was still naturally apprehensive). She didnt really say too much or really talk to us at all, it seemed almost like we were inconveniencing her. The first shots she gave my child were done extremely aggressively, almost as if she was trying to hurt him, I have several children and been with them during all their shots and never had a nurse who injected so hard and aggressively, I am almost sure she hit bone during the 2 shots in his arm. Naturally my child shrieked and started crying and I couldn't calm him down. The nurse tried to pin my childs arms to give him the next 2 shots in the other arm and he started smacking her away. Instead of her being proactive and compassionate professional helping to get his shots as painlessly as possible and trying to talk to him she just gave up after I grabbed him away and stopped the process. I tried to talk to my son and told him she was going to be more "gentle"(I emphasized the gentle to make my point come across that she had been too rough).I was able to calm him down and we finally got the next 2 shots in which this time with proper technique unlike the first 2 shots. The next day my fears where confirmed when the arm where his aggressive shots were injected swelled up double in size from the shoulder to elbow & black and blue bruises developed at his injection site. My child has never had a reaction to a vaccine so I am 100% sure it was the fact that the shots were administered very aggressively and with too much force. I have included pictures so people can see for themselves. I dont know of it was the fact we spoke Spanish and/or we also had CHIP (which we pay premiums for) but she obviously knows how to give the the shots correctly (as evidence by his shots on the 2nd arm after I kept emphasizing she needed to be gentle) but for some reason she decided to be extra rough on my kid and traumatized him and also made him have a very painful reaction.

I usually feel at home with CVS, but this store has a little work to do. I was followed around the store as if I was shoplifting. Every isle, asking if I needed help. Two woman like a vulture. The moment something went wrong at self checkout, yep, both behind me inspecting my stuff. If I read the situation wrong I'm sorry, but I felt very uncomfortable. Probably won't return to this location.

Pharmacy - I tried to call a prescription in for a patient Sherry answered and asked if I wanted to leave a voicemail. I told her I wanted to call it in for the patient she said you can hold then. She then came back on the phone and I told her again and she put me back on hold. Very rude!

Went to the Minute Clinic and they told me they didn’t know what I was sick with and it would run it’s course, but if not go get antibiotics in 5 days.. I never got better, so went to my actual doctor to find out I have had Mono.. Lady at CVS said I wasn’t even contagious.. Mono can be deadly..
