I'm so tired of all the kids in your lobby trying to sell items, prior to, your customers, spending $200 on a week's worth of groceries. I don't mind supporting our community, but it's getting really annoying.

Dirty, disgusting, overpriced, dried out deli food, expired items, black mold in freezers and beverage coolers. I’m surprised the health department hasn’t shut this place down.

I parked my big 🚚 at quiktrip and walked over. I had a great time shopping. The staff was very nice and friendly. The hot deli fried chicken was very good. I got some mustard greens and ham hocks to put in my instant pot. The store has items not found in other stores. I mainly stopped for the kc chocolate silk pie in the bakery. It's very tasty.

Disappointed! We went in on June 26, 2023. Deli Section Needs Improvement! Ordered Chicken Strips with a side of cream gravy ($2.49)...it was a Watery Mess! Then we picked up a pre-made salad...it was awful! Lettuce was brown and cherry tomatoes were so gross. We would not have bought this, but the brown stuff was hidden. Only good thing we can say, is the Jesse who bagged us up was a delight 😊

This is the first time choosing to do the Holiday Meal - I do NOT recommend. I ordered a smoked Turkey (expecting it to be like their smoked Turkey I pick up from the deli) but NO - it was a butterball ‘roasted’ not smoked and still had the wrapping around the turkey … wasn’t in a roasting pan or anything and now I can’t buy a roasting pan. This is really ridiculous!! Look at the brochure - I expected that I paid for a Turkey that they smoked and already in a pan all I would have to do is reheat. I could have bought the same thing from Walmart at 1/2 the price. I cannot believe or express how disappointed I am in this service!Normally this store is great and offers great food/products. This of all holidays, I would have expected to have the turkey prepared by your store - like the brochure leads you to believe. Talk about a little false advertising.

Service when asked to be addressed by Will managers duty tonight as I left was laugh at by employee and not taken seriously by Will. Business Ower would appreciate this kind of behavior taken seriously and addressed. You busy is being taken away as a result of employee behavior and service given to customers. There are many store near by to choose from. Hope this gets addressed appropriately

Used to like it but they stopped military and senior citizen discounts daily and moved it to twice a week. Told they give more points those two days. I do not have the time to schedule my shopping around those days and usually go only when I am in route from some place. Because of that I will find another place to shop lastminute even if they don't have the discounts.

Great for the town people. Prices are high but that's what you get for small town grocery store that's convenient. Or waste more time and gas and drive into town to Hy vee and Walmart and fight with the crowd.

I am there almost every day and happy with service and choices most of the time. They bring new products if requested. Strong caution on the flowers. They look nice until you take them out of the package. Bought a bouquet for my daughter that had black and dried leaves hidden by packaging. Had zero problems exchanging which was nice but this was the best I could find. Maybe this is standard but next time I will go to KC Rivermarket and get much larger and healthier flowers.

Love this grocery store! Huge gluten free selection. Great sale prices and everyday prices. Clean and bright. Employees who are happy to help. There are often produce samples which keep the kids happy. I only wish they could make the organic produce more affordable. We shop elsewhere for organic produce since there never seem to be sales.

An excellent store that is well stocked, and solid selection. Folks are friendly and helpful. Produce is excellent. Deli, bakery, and meat counters are adequate.The only things that keep this store from being five stars are prices and the awards program. We're from Colorado were Kroger is standard. We're Price Chopper to be closer in prices and rewards of 10 cents per hundred dollars on 35 gallons, or better they would be great.Still they are the place to shop in Platte City and surrounding areas.

I really enjoy shopping at this store. I find the produce to be very fresh, the breads are delicious. I like my rib eye steaks cut a certain width. They have never disappointed me. I have lived in the area for 15 years. I have received pleasant service consistently. Of course after 15 years I have had an unfriendly cashier a couple of times. But it is definitely not a norm.

Very disappointed that this store is going to discontinue the 5% off for Seniors and also the Military discount! In this times where every penny counts for most folks, you want to take away the little extras for most families. They need to rethink this or everyone boycot this store! I've filed a complaint with HR. If everyone does this maybe they will rethink the change!!

I'm very disappointed in the management of this store. It used to be a GREAT store, but for what ever reason, the cleanliness and staff have went downhill. The cart corrals are always full outside, the bathrooms are not kept up well, and the staff have become rude and dismissive. The meat department is still great, but the rest of the store is lacking.I worked in the grocery business for several years and the problems I see are 100% from lack of management taking control of their store and employees.

Nice store. Deli counter had lots of food to choose from to take home to our family while visiting. The chicken was very good as were the sides. We even got desserts, the coconut creme pie was excellent.

This place was 4 stars in my estimation UNTIL THEY DID AWAY WITH VETERAN'S AND SENIOR DIDCOUNTS. I shop here when we need something quickly. Prices are higher than our usual stores. Store is clean, well organized and employees are polite and helpful. Usually shop in KC or Gladstone, however.

I love this store except one thing. Every time I go here and have to use the restrooms they are DISGUSTING. I get that most humans are monsters when it comes to public restrooms and I surely understand understaffing in these times, but…I’m assuming the staff use the same restrooms so this shouldn’t be some shock to them. Please do better with cleaning. This bathroom at the Platte City location ranks right up there with some of the worst truck/rest stop restrooms I’ve seen. A real germ-o-phob nightmare FOR SURE. Otherwise the store is great to shop at! Please do better Price Chopper so we don’t feel like we need a hazmat suit to enter your restroom.

- Price Chopper recently got new owners and so far everything seems great. Employees are friendly and courteous. Being the mother of a special needs child, I really admire how they provide employment opportunities and a place of acceptance for people with special needs. If the weather is bad just pull up to the front of the stire and their helpful employees will load your groceries! Great selection, decent prices. Deli and Liquor department are plentiful.

Great customer service, Alex R was the best bagger I've seen in years. I'm a pretty competitive bagger pro myself, so I know what makes a good bagger. If I was the manager I'd give this fine young man a raise for the work he did. I recently had a very bad knee injury and he saved me from the anxiety of walking to my car. close drive for me, great fruit and veggies and nice selection for cheeses to other deli assortments. Price can be a bit more unless sale going on. I always go there for produce but elsewhere for meats. Nice cashiers that are usually fast and efficient.

Normally I have a good experience at this location. They have a nice deli and bakery. My problem is with the cashiers, one in particular. She’s rude and a bit clueless when asking if you’re eligible for the 55 and over discount. I’m not a fan of getting asked when I’m nowhere near 55, yet it repeatedly happens. I’ve seen others embarrassed by the same thing. They should either give the discount automatically if they’re not sure or the customer will mention it. QUIT ASKING! I will wait for another cashier from now on and quit going to her lane.She also makes remarks about the items I buy, grrrr! You’re not my doctor, nutritionist or mother! Butt out and ring up my purchases.

The store is a nice grocery store. The employees are helpful in locating items that you can't find. The cashier's are friendly and make sure they get your rewards card points put on. Also if your a senior citizen on Thursday you get a discount.

The bakery is amazing! I received a beautiful cake for my daughters 3rd birthday party. Ordering it was super easy. I said I needed a Halloween style cake and Annie did a beautiful job. Very impressive! I highly recommend getting your cakes from this bakery. Will not be disappointed!

Love love love Aimee in the bakery! She is so friendly and helpful, and always asks about my family when she sees me in the store!Cheyenne, the barista at Starbucks, is super friendly, and I think she’s a fantastic asset to the store.The kids bagging my groceries are wonderful, too, and the cashiers are almost always friendly and helpful.I haven’t had any experience with customer service or the management, so I can’t offer any review on them, but overall this is a good place to shop.

I went to the bakery yesterday to purchase a cake and have “Happy Birthday “ written on it. No one was in the bakery, but a very nice gentleman in the butcher department helped me and went to look for someone. An individual came out and said “I’m so stressed! What do you want?” I was taken aback and said “never mind”. I put the cake back in the shelf and went to customer service; I reiterated the incident to the Customer service employee and she said “okay”. It’s no wonder this place stays open.

Good produce, and occasionally good sales on beef. What I don't like about this grocery store is the demeanor of it's employees. They act like they hate being there. Customer service is present, but in form only. Don't expect to get service with a smile, or (God forbid) a "thank you."
