Continues to put jobs up on indeed & other sites but anytime you call they aren’t “actually” hiring for the position they put up I’ve applied 2 separate times just for them to tell me the same thing every time please get your selves together.

I love our local Dollar General there's almost always something on sale. And living in a small town having the option to not drive to a bigger town to visit a Walmart is a huge savings for us even if we have to pay a little bit more for a product it's worth it not to have to buy gas to go get it somewhere else. The staff is very attentive and nice to everybody that comes through the door. The manager seems to care very much about helping everyone

Terribly ran store. They do not follow the set policy’s and refused to sell me items I wanted to purchase. The store manager as well as the district manager both refused to sell items to me and lied about their policy’s. Why would a company put a policy in place and then lie about it and not follow it?!? And who is going to be held responsible for them breaking policy? I am a loyal dg customer, but this was absolutely ridiculous. How do I know the next time I go there, they won’t refuse to sell me something I am needing? Customer relations agreed they acted out of policy but the store manager and district manager just said sorry we refuse.. I’m so upset.

I would not recommend shopping here. I was traveling thru and stopped here. I had some coupons for old orchard juice, and they had several in stock. So I got 8. My coupons were clipped from the newspaper. I gave the cashier Angie my coupons and she read the first one, then the second then the third, I said they are all the same, she rudely said there must be a limit, I explained there was not, and told her the the p&g coupons are usually the ones that have a limit. The customer behind me agreed and told her the same. Anyway, the total came to some change, I gave her a $20, she gave me back all ones and quarters for my change and just threw it in my hand. I don't understand why she was so rude, she said cause its free!! So what. The store gets reimbursement for coupons. I guess I do understand illiteracy. She obviously is illiterate to coupons and not willing to learn. But that will cause people not to shop there because she also lacks social skills. This generation of young people are just flakes!!

The Dollar General in Pierce City compared to all three Dollar Generals in Monett is by far the most contentious of their customers needs. What I mean by that is all the way from their manager to her employees they are customer service oriented. Always assists in anyway they can. I believe that there is no need to go into specifics. Customer Service is not what it use to be years ago, but this Dollar General has never lost that talent.

This store is not restocking shelves.In a timely manner. A serious lack of staff.Disorganized, I won't return. I would advise to not purchase perishable goods. Appears scheduled for remodeling or complete closure.

I pop in here when I don’t want to drive to the town over for stuff. There’s a good selection of items, and inexpensive for the most part. The few times I’ve been here the staff was very friendly, and helped me find some items.

It's a dollar general what do you expect... The aisles are very tight at this one, if someone is pushing a cart you practically have to squeeze up against the goods on the shelf to get by. Friendly workers though.

Quick and easy for most last minute things. Sometimes think they should hire some a few more employees. Generally, I just see 1 or 2 people and they are always hurrying.

The workers there respect you as a customer unlike wal mart if don't have a mask on they are radioing back and fourth telling people your not wearing a mask wal mart has lost a lot of my business.
