Horrible customer service. The cashier talked to my mother, who's in her 60s, as if she was incompetent to work the card reader. They didn't even address her when she walked up. I had to say something for the person to speak to us. The cashier literally acted as if we didn't belong in the store. When my mother asked a question about something they didn't have, the answer was "I don't know. You see me at the register, right? You can go somewhere else or back home." I couldn't make this up if I tried. I then looked at the cashier and asked them to just please finish ringing the food up. My mother had a look of defeat in her eyes and started to tear up. I'm glad she raised me right because I so wanted to let the cashier have a taste of what was on my mind but I let it go. I gave my mom my keys and asked her to go sit in the car while I finished up. Very distasteful. Only reason for the two stars is because another worker was nice and talked to my mother about dancing before we went to check out. They had their own conversation but it was nice. The trip deserves negative stars if possible.

The store is clean, the workers are friendly, and the prices are fair. The biggest downside is parking.Ever since Cornhole started existing, there is no available parking.Due to that, I'd rather drive 10 minutes out of my way to have an available spot.

I don't go here a lot. I only go if I need one or 2 things. I will add that when I went one time to get something they don't even carry it so it was a waste of time. Now with that being said, the store is always clean when I go and the staff are pretty nice. If you need help they will help you find what you are looking for.

Definitely my favorite location. Store is always very clean and organized. My daughter is autistic and will only eat the Save-A-Lot brand yogurt. It is a staple in our home lol the managers are aware of this and order an extra case for me every week, so I don't have to run around to other locations trying to find it 😁 It is extremely appreciated!!

I always shop at Save A Lot in Pevely. The Cashier's are very nice, and go out of their way to make my experience well. They have alot of good products in stocks. The store is always clean, and I would give this store A+ Because I has wonderful Cashier's and Management.

I would give no star if it was an option! I visited this store in Pevely MO on 10/9/22. My total purchase was $139.87. I wrote a personal check for the amount. After the cashier verified through a 3 ring binder that I have neverwritten a bad check there, my husband bagged the groceries. The checker then went into the office to get it approved. A lady came out and said because the number on the check was too low, they couldn't accept the check.. even though the information on the check and my drivers license matched, she told me I hadn't written enough checks from my account to their liking. I usually use my debit card, but didn't have it in my purse. It seemed she was making her own rules up. I've never been told that by anyone I've written a personal check to. They took the time to write my drivers license number and birthdate on it... yet at the last minute refused to run it through the register. She told me to go home and come back with my debit card.. I told her if I was leaving, I would never return to that store! Terrible customer service!

I have frequented this store often when needing to pick up something quick. Selection is not the greatest, but I chalk that up to it being a discount grocer. The staff here have always been very nice & respectful. The fresh meat is questionable and I will say whenever I have opted to buy meat here, they package it to look better than it actually is. They hide the nasty parts putting it facing down so you don't see it until you get it home. A lot of the frozen food is freezer burnt so I steer clear of that as well. The snacks are always good and if I need some cheap soda for a gathering it's a good option. I'll be back, just am selective about my purchases.

Quick in and out for me but a customer in front of me with about half a cart load let me go in front of her, so that was nice. Thanks Sav-A-Lot for a clean environment.

Once 2 weeks ago the cashier didn't make an effort to cover her mouth when coughing. Today my wife could not access the beer cooler because it was blocked by 2 carts and the employee made no effort to move one or help her with the product she wanted. I can't shop because of a broken foot

So very nice polite as well as having a good stocked store...they came to the rescue and called an ambulance when we were down and hurting. Thanks to all employees at the store who were offering soda and a candy bar to bring our sugar back up. Will be down soon to shop.

If the selection was a little better I could give 5 stars, specifically the lack of craft beers. That being said, I am happier with this Save-a-lot than the Queens(IGA) that was in this location previously. They have a 5 for $20 meat selection which is definitely one of the best deals around. Cheap eggs, milk, meat, and bread plus good location make this the perfect stop if you are stocking up for the winter weather.

I love our Pevely, Mo. Save A Lot. The store is inviting you in when you enter with the bright lighting, cleanliness, great prices & availability of fresh produce & meats. The store stocks some named brand items along with their quality store brand. I'm sure you will enjoy your shopping experience at this Save A Lot location. Why not give them a try!🤗

Very nice store but limited on variety and selection. Disappointing because it's the only grocery store in town. Overall, the prices are good. Much smaller than the Cedar Hill and Arnold stores.

your meat is great and veggies. Selection was great. Not now since you changed layout. I was very disappointed. It reminds me of the store you tried after Queens/ Most Pevely citizens did not go there// Is this what u want again. We need a regular store not a no name brand store. Prices are not that much cheaper and the quality is not good/Go back to the way u were when u opened. N H

This isn't where I shop regularly, but sometimes stop when I need just a few items. I usually find something new that becomes a regular item I need to stop in for. I like that they sell food locally made like the Fazio's ravioli.

This is my favorite go to grocery store.Convenient, clean, friendly staff, and suprisingly have a great selection of groceries including quality meat all priced very competitive. I have no reason to go anywhere else.
