Not sure if it's this store or all stores, but half of the coupons never ring up. I've went through the refund process online and they've confirmed they should have worked. I've gotten to the point I only buy what I planned on buying which defeats the point of coupons.

This store has gone so far downhill. No one in the store knows how to do anything. I placed an online pick up order and no one knew how to retrieve it or pick it.The shelves are always empty with carts of stock blocking isles. It's a Hazzard. They really just need to close this store until they can get it right.

Super easy to get to, parking is easy and staff has always been helpful. I asked Janet to put as much as she could in a bag. She explained all their bags are 100% recycled and I could bring any store bags there and drop them off. She was so helpful and sweet and always smiles!

The market in Herculaneum is great only issue most store doesn't carry the same items and some items there having trouble getting

Employees are incredibly friendly here. They always have sales on clothes, sometimes over 75% off...great place to get $2 or $3 pajama bottoms/sweatpants/shorts. If you mix retail coupons and Dollar General Digital coupons you can get a lot of stuff for a heavy discount, sometimes free!

This place usually has the items I need, the store is kept clean and organized. Overall, I've never had any problems shopping here. Inventory could be a bit higher, but I usually don't have any problems finding anything.

Customer bathroom out of order and they refused to let me use the employee bathroom. I was tempted to pee on the floor. I immediately left without buying anything and went to Pizza Hut who let me use the bathroom without issue. Also full of customers not wearing masks. I guess the mask mandate doesn't apply to this store. Very unsafe and unfriendly store. Avoid if possible.

The employees at this Dollar General are exceptionally nice and go way out of their way to help their customers! They happily greet every customer coming into the store, they offer help if you need it, but they're not pushy. It's not the one closest to me but I go to that one a lot now. The last time I was there I couldn't find what I was looking for, an employee offered to help, she looked for the item and came to the conclusion they just didn't have it, I was disappointed and as I was turning to leave she called me back and reached in her pocket and pulled out a clip that was hooked to her keys, I said "that's it"! She took it off and just gave it t me, and wouldn't let me pay her for it. I needed that clip to help secure a cage for a pit bull, and I had been to several stores before that one, no one carried them. She saved my day!

At first I was excited about this location of DG. But the more I got to notice even thought it looks more huge than the other ones around Jefferson county, they have a selection of goods different than the rest which can be either good or frustrating. Never have the aisles organized neatly so things are always put all mixed and matched, only one checkout line and it takes forever and is small and annoying to have to walk through everyone just to get to ask a question or walk through the set of doors. The stuff that's out in the aisles are never in the right spot so you might see the stuff you need then again it's a huge chance you won't be able to find it again because of how unorganized the shelves are, you see the shelf space in almost every aisle that fools you into thinking you will have a wide variety to pick from, and then you see no it only cause nothing put back right. Clearance aisle has never once been acceptable to me because it always the same stuff and thrown all over without tags and that is frustrating because you can't get easily to get assistance trust me. Waste of time stopping to this location unless that's the closest one to you.

Store was very cluttered tonight. Took 20 min to even find the display of batteries. Front counter has been shifted so that some of the phone stuff is behind it. Careful don't cross their invisible line, while looking for batteries! They get rude about it. It will be a while before I visit this Dollar General again.

Clean dollar general and the lady that works there always tell me hello when i come in. They have a pretty good selection of fresh produce for when i need a few extra items but dont want to go all the way to a big store. Overall one of the best Dollar generals i have been in, in along time

Always seems to be stock in the isles that's never put away. Always have trouble getting an associate that can properly reload a prepaid card. Have literally been told to come back the next day because they didn't know how to load it.

When I got my total I asked the cashier If my digital coupons were taken off. He said "well didnt u just put in ur phone number?" I said ya. He said "I guess it did then!" Well when I got my receipt back there was nothing taken off. So I said 2 him theres nothing taken off at all. He said well ur gona have to call the 800 number I have customers behind u so ur gona have to deal with them to have them fix it! I was so disappointed probably the worst service from them since I've been go n to this dollar store!

Only ever have one cashier, always wait in line forever. Went a week or so ago and the blonde cashier, older woman, didn't even say hi, how are you, thank you, actually I don't think she said one word. Not very good customer service

So this store might feel small but I can usually always find what I need. The staff are excellent as well.. always treat me very nice. Helpful too.

Areas around this store have recently been effected by flooding. Went in looking for cleaning supplies and they had them right up front as you walk in the door, everything marked half off. Wonderful community support.

Great. Employees !! But need more working on a shift. !!!!!!! You have 2 people. One is Almost always at register then they are Behind! People go there b4 they go to Walmart in Festus. But. Hire more help. Maybe. 2. - 8 hr people. And one 4 hr. On the same shift!! Something.

Stopped in here at lunch time to grab a soda. Walked up to the counter to be told someone will be back to take care of me. Minutes later a guy slowly made his way to the counter to handle me. No hussle and bustle at all. No smile. Not at all friendly. It was obvious that he didn't want to be there and just made a bad experience worse.

During this difficult time, and with the seriousness of the virus, you would think the Dollar General Corporation would have outlined precautions for their employees. Went to the Pevely, MO store and the first thing I see is a cashier with both masks and gloves! My thoughts were finally...but as I'm thinking what a good thing that was, the other checker had no mask and no gloves!!! Sad to see either the Company doesn't care or the employee doesnt!! Either way, she should not have been working!! I love shopping at Dollar General and usually shop in the Festus store. I will be going back there. Really disappointed.

Love this store. I just wish everything was priced. Sometimes you can't find the price of things. And the girls are always busy so you hate to make them stop to come look for a price.. Besides that Ilove the convenience.

This is for the Dollar general on Truman boulevard this has to be the worst Dollar general there is. Go to the one in pevely nicer store Lots nicer staff. I am in my sixties and do not like to be disrespected by a 17-year-old kid

Not real friendly. The stores I have been in, uh appears they ALL NEED MORE EMPLOYEES. I think ya'll going to run your good help off putting a ridiculous amount of work on them. Y'all are already anywhere from 1$-6$ higher. So I limit my spending. Not Cool

Went Saturday August 17 and had a horrible experience with the cashier there were multiple people walking out as well as the lady in front of me who was in tears as well as her children with her due to the cashier. I went to help pay because it was a payment issue and the cashier was giving her grief and she ended up charging me more than what was stated. I will not be returning to this dollar general especially if she’s is there. Especially when I can go just a little further up the road and go to crystal city location

As silly as it may be, this is where I go for a Mommy time... it is super close and convenient.. plus the manager that works there is ALWAYS helpful, patient, and kind. When I walk in and see she is working, it makes me smile.

Always a friendly face to wait on you. If there is a line, the cashiers are wonderful on opening another line to avoid a wait.
