The latest time that I got popcorn and ice cream from Popculture Gourmet Popcorn & Ice Cream was in January 2022. There are over 40 flavors of popcorn, and I was impressed to see that in their new storefront that they got over a year ago there was bulk machines on the brick walls where you can sample different flavors of popcorn served at Popculture. The flavors served at Popculture were separated into four categories on their menu, which are Sweet, Savory, Spicy, and also Chocolates & Infusions. The two kinds of popcorn I got are mixes of different popcorn flavors, in which those mixes were named Cornfetti and Puppy Chow.There is also 16 amazing flavors of premium, hard-scoop ice cream and milkshakes that Popculture Gourmet Popcorn & Ice Cream has to offer to its customers, and the brand of ice cream offered at Popculture is called The Ice Cream Club. There is also the option for getting 1 to 3 scoops of your choice of ice cream flavor in a cup, in a sugar or cake cone, and you can even get a root beer float from Popculture Gourmet Popcorn & Ice Cream as well. The ice cream that I tried that last time I went to Popculture was a flavor called Purple Daze.

I was recently a guest at an event for Wedding Vendors and got to try Popculture Gourmet Popcorn. I am not a big fan of popcorn, so I gave the little bag to my husband. But then I tried the Birthday Cake flavor and took it back. It was DELICIOUS! Not only is the popcorn devine, but the packaging was cute and was even branded with the event sponsors. I absolutely reccommend Popculture Gourmet Popcorn for any reason and plan to grab some for Christmas gifts.

I've got ice cream, bags/tins and refillable tins of popcorn here many many times since this place opened at 9 & 45hwy yrs ago. My purchases have been as gifts and also for ourselves occasionally. The past few purchases have been lacking in quality.I've told so many people that this popcorn blows away Topsy's popcorn. I can no longer say this, Topsy's is more consistent. The quality seems to have went down and the prices have gone up. The last 3 visits got worse each time and 3 strikes, you're out.Many broken pieces and unpopped kernals in bottom of refillable tin/tub, caramel popcorn doesn't look the right color and is lacking in flavor, the type of cheese they use has changed or they've decreased the amount. Now it's just 'ok' popcorn, I can make better at home.

It was good, and the free samples on the wall is awesome because you get to try the flavors before buying. Overall, it was a good experience, but I think I would prefer Topsy's popcorn over their's.

Reasonably priced big scoops of delightful ice cream. I enjoyed the Purple Daze - Blackberry ice cream with dark chocolate cups and a blackberry ribbon. A great Spring time delight and taste of the summer to come. Great sample wall for their gourmet popcorn as well.

As the previous owner of this business, it’s sad that I received a product I got today in preparation for Thanksgiving. The popcorn was HORRIBLE. It’s clear that they are not popping this popcorn fresh and popping the popcorn at a facility similar to the way Topsy’s does, creates too much room for a stale product. Cheese - very stale and not “cheesy” at all. Jalapeño Cheddar - since cheese is the base, like above it wasn’t cheesy & was stale as well. Caramel - biggest disappointment by far - nothing about the caramel tasted like caramel. The color isn’t right (light brown vs a dark brown) & tasted like air. To their credit, the caramel wasn’t stale, but that’s hard to do w/ caramel. Buttery popcorn - the popcorn at AMC is better. No reason for the buttery popcorn to taste the way it does coming from a gourmet popcorn shop.

Just bought about $50 worth ( alot of popcorn) for my surgeons office as a thank you. I like to support local, and never heard of popculture and figured it sounded unique. Well I went to pick up my order and left spending another $20 or $30, the sample wall got us lol. The popcorn is amazing and tastes freakishly like what it says. We will be back. And the girls at the counter, while not very talkative, were very nice and helpful. Thank youThe chocolate strawberry and the coconut were my FAVORITE!!

Small store in downtown Parkville that offers great ice cream and pretty good popcorn. They get new flavors of ice cream on a regular basis and more flavors of popcorn than any other place around. The service has always been good. Worth checking out if you want some ice cream.

Love this little local popcorn and ice cream shop. It's so cute and modern, so many flavors to try, hand made by the Owner, Channing. Very unique experience. Website is super cute, easy to navigate and check out. I know the owners, they put their heart, blood and soul into this shop. All the popcorn is made with love, for sure! They have 3 beautiful daughters and are a great team, very down to earth and funny. Check it out, you will love trying all the flavors!

We love getting ice cream here! The flavors change on occasion which keeps us coming back. We also like that there are popcorn samples so that we can try the many types of popcorn that they offer. The staff are very upfront about what are good flavor combinations and what are pretty terrible combinations. My kids appreciate their honesty but still will try the terrible combinations anyway!

Took our daughter here for ice cream after getting a cast put on her arm. The single scoop was an awesome size and the flavors were amazing. Staff was super nice and friendly. Even just the chocolate ice cream was incredible!

This is such a fun shop to visit! My family loves to sample their plethora of amazing popcorn flavors. It is difficult to choose which ones to purchase because they are all very tasty! My favorite is the Chicago (caramel, cheese mix). I also love buying popcorn as a special surprise gift for when visiting the in-laws.Popculture also has delicious hard ice cream, which you can try samples of as well. My son loves the blue Superman flavor. Their staff is friendly and patient, especially when we have trouble agreeing on what to buy! 😆They have a few tables where you can sit and enjoy your treats while watching passers-by. Popculture is a must stop when in Parkville. You won't be disappointed.

We recently had worked with Popculture for wedding favors and they turned out absolutely perfect. Our guests had so much fun trying all the flavors and are still ranting about it. The custom labels were an amazing touch as well. We have always been huge fans of Popculture and were happy to share the experience. The team is very accommodating as a slight miscommunication was fixed immediately and we were extremely grateful for that!!

Very friendly and welcoming staff. The shop it's is clean, organized and adorably decorated. There're a ton of flavors of popcorn and ice cream and you get to sample them all. There's a small space to sit. My family loved this shop, the food os delicious and the atmosphere is welcoming.

My company just did a very large order with Popculture for employee holiday gift boxes (local small business was the theme) and we could not be more pleased. The popcorn was a huge hit - lots of rave reviews and the service was amazing. We had a little mix up on the pick up date and I was on a pretty tight timeline. They turned it around and my order ended up being done early! They also did customized labels for us at no extra charge. Amazing popcorn with so many fun flavors and genuinely great customer service. We will be back - highly recommend!

Ahh!! Love this place. So happy to have all the samples and new varieties back.The watermelon and the banana were SURPRISINGLY so good.My top two are Extra Chicago style and Puppy Chow.My 8 year old loves birthday cakeMy wife loves- sour cream and cheddar, extra butter/cheddar, spicy, pickle, basically anything that is popculture.We tried the Royal mix this time with blueberry, lemon and vanilla. Wonderful combo!!

Went in today and the staff is extremely friendly and sweet! However the few encounters that I've seen the owner at the store were absolutely disgusting. To see an owner treat the employees with zero respect makes me never want to this store again. I love the popcorn and ice cream but the owner is a terrible person. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS OWNER OR BUISSNESS. It was extremely sad and I hope those sweet workers stop being abused

Great popcorn and ice cream!Each time we visit Justin and the crew treat us like we've been customers and friends forever. The product is excellent and the great customer service pushes it over the top.I was told about my now favorite popcorn place by a coworker about a year ago and made the trek to what we've determined to be the holy grail of popcorn shortly after. One taste and I've been hooked ever since.Thanks for putting out a product that is always fresh and tastes great every time!

This is a fun location right in charming downtown Parkville. The ice cream is great and we really enjoy trying the different popcorn flavors. Be sure to buy a tin so you can refill for half price!

We recently discovered Popculture and we love it! Their shop has so many flavors to choose from and many different sizes so there is something for everyone. We had their popcorn for a popcorn bar at our wedding back in April and it was a huge hit. Our guests loved it and we got lots of comments on how good it was. We ordered 4 XL bags and it was plenty for our 100+ guests. We called to place our order about a month in advance and everything was ready and waiting for us to pick up the day before our wedding, including scoops. All employees we dealt with were very friendly, helpful and professional. We have had great experiences each time we’ve been in, whether you’re picking up a popcorn snack or ordering it in bulk, it’s a great place to go and we definitely recommend. We will be back!

The atmosphere and two gals working were very pleasant but all the popcorn I bought and brought home was stale unfortunately and I threw it all away. Now had it been fresh it would have been great!
