Pretty quick place to have your dog groomed and the staff has always been super helpful the moment you walk in. I've rarely found a groomer I like how they grind nails and this place is no different and inconsistent from groomer to groomer. The food selection to me is very lacking for me personally. I've got an allergy dog with a ton of kibble research under my belt and simple don't care for most of the brands for my dogs. Other than one brand the selection is nothing typical you will usually see elsewhere which doesn't make the ingredient list any better. Would love to say differently so I could support the Parkville store more. The dog wash to me is just OK. I like that the groomers lead moves but the entrance is a little awkward and my dog really didn't like the noise of the stainless. Soap isn't all that great of a smell to me personally.

Used their u-wash station. Loved it & I think my dog did too. They provide soap, conditioner, towel and a drying room with different grooming brushes. The manager was fantastic with explaining how everything worked. When checking out, the manager gave us free samples of dog food & recommendations for dog park in the area. Great service!

Heather is the best groomer that I have ever had for my boys! (Mini goldendoodle & shihpoo) They love to go there, and in the past my shihpoo would refuse to go. She even sings to them! It is easy to see that Heather truly loves what she does and adores the dogs. The prices for everything are great too! They have excellent products and the staff are great go-to's for questions. I get their dog food here too.

Wanted to give a shout out to these folks, and Mariah, who always does Teddy's trim. Always do a great job, but willing to listen to feedback and preferences to adjust style to the client's needs. Teddy looks so great--thank you so much! Another thing: before I came here, my dog had a terrible fear of grooming--probably being mistreated by other groomers I had taken him to, and now he's doing much better under people who care!

Super helpful staff. Took my big Bloodhound Bonnie to give her a bath and toenail trim. The U wash area was amazing. Bonnie wasn't sure at first but once the warm water hit her she was in heaven. She even didn't mind the hair dryers.

They have a wide variety of pet food and treats at competitive prices. The groomer is awesome. She was patient and didn't push my puppy, which is fearful of new people and places. He did ok the first time and even better the second visit.

I’ll never bathe my dog anywhere else! The self service stations are amazing and make it so easy to wash my dog. My back and shoulders are so much happier! Shampoo and conditioner were included and came right out of the nozzle, no bottles or scrubbing necessary. The nozzle is also a professional nozzle with strong water pressure. You get the quality of a professional groom with a quarter of the cost. I literally spent $17.I walked in and had never been before, but the staff helped me out immediately and made it so easy. I look forward to bath day for my dog now! They also have hypoallergenic shampoo for his itchy skin and conditioner. His coat is SO soft and shiny, and he’s got way less dandruff. I’ll be coming in for regular baths now, instead of procrastinating. That’s how awesome this place has made bath day!

No appointment needed was always able to bring my puppy in and get her claws trimmed. Very cheap as well. They also do a great job of making sure you get everything you need for your puppy. We were looking for new food for our little one and the worker gave us some samples to have her try. My dog loved all of it. So we returned later that day and bought some new higher quality food. It was only about 5 dollars more than what I was currently spending on my pups food but much higher quality. The worker was super kind and helpful with picking on out and even gave us a dog food measuring cup. Since we were out of her current food she was on they also recommended some pumpkin to ease the transition and so far you can tell it has helped. My dog looks happier healthier and has more energy. Highly recommended taking your pets here for all needs. Also have bought a few harnesses from here. Always happy with every purchase. I plan to continue bringing my dog here and any more dogs I get here. Very happy with there service. You can tell they are pet owners.

I go to GoPetGo all the time for their great dog and cat food, convenient locations, in addition to taking my dog to the groomers for a bath or nail clip and grind... because I like them! Everyone is real friendly and willing to help! My dog likes going there too and they always give her some GoPetGo lovin'!

I have been to Peterson vet so many times and always have great recommendations for my dogs. However today .. I’d say .. was exceptional service with Adelaide . It’s nice to know that “ customer service “ really does exist! Sometimes you have to wonder if people are truly real in what they say .. well Adelaide was truly a breath of fresh air. And now days that seems hard to find. She can multitask, give honest ideas for my dogs, and be a kind genuine person all in one . Thank you for the great service ! And to everyone else that works there .. thanks for the hospitality ALWAYS!

My wife and I have been taking our rescued English Bulldog, Bubbles, to Heather for over a year now. Unfortunately, a couple of other groomers have clipped too short and hit the nail quick. Heather is very knowledgeable about the English Bulldog breed and how to specifically trim and grind Bubbles nails. She has never cut too far into the nail hitting the quick. Every grooming visit Heather has had a positive energy and personality. You can tell she has a true love for animals! I highly recommend Heather to everyone! She is a fantastic groomer!

We have taken our two dog babies to no fewer than 6 different groomers all across the city. We have been taking them here to Go Pet Go for about a year, and will never take them anywhere else. Heather is always consistent, thorough, and detailed. She cuts exactly how we like it, and is one of the few groomers who actually gets their nails trim and buff. Not to mention that she is always very friendly and provides excellent customer service.

Heather is a fantastic groomer. My Mildred (Black Lab/Saint Bernard mix) and I have been all over in our 6 years together trying find a compatible groomer and we've finally met our perfect match. Heather always has a terrific attitude and great energy. When I pick up Millie, I can tell she's happy and feels so good, not like, "Get me out of here!!". The best part is Heather treats Millie as an individual, gets to know her personally, listens to her month to month needs, and genuinely cares about her. It shows in Mill and she is a very happy pup, which makes me a very happy dog mom. I would recommend Heather to anyone and everyone. I promise you won't regret it.

First time here for my big girl to get a nail trim. Heather was awesome. She was very informative and had a game plan on how to handle my dogs nails the best to help get them shorter over time. Her quicks are super long. I get them clipped every 2 weeks but wasn't doing much for length. Heather was super sweet and caring and I can tell she really cares and enjoys what she does. Even though I live closer to other places I think Heather will be getting my business from now on.

Heather is AMAZING! My shih poo gets so nervous to be groomed but she always makes sure he is comfortable and calm before taking him back. Heather does such a good job with him and she even gives us a homemade bandana every time! She is the only groomer I feel comfortable taking my baby to. The pricing is great as well!

I’ve been bringing my 7 yr old adopted Maltese to Heather (Parkville location) for regular monthly grooming for over 2 yrs. Heather absolutely loves “her babies” as she refers to her dog clients. She has a natural manner & ability with animals that puts them at ease & her grooming talent & knowledge is incredible. Most importantly, she truly cares about what’s best for her clients & treats them as she would her own. I always know Molly is safe & well cared for with Heather.

I’ve taken my dachshund twice now for a grooming, and it just seems as if the groomers don’t care... the last time I picked him up, he was covered in loose hair and I requested they wash it off, but they proceeded to use an air blower. I’ll still buy food here because the people up front are nice, but I’ll be going elsewhere for my pup’s next grooming.

Have never had any issues getting services for my pup -- even when we just walk in. They also are one of the few places around that carries Fromm. The only gripe I have is that they are a bit pricey. $60+ for an 8 lb dog is high (according to friends who own a grooming salon).

Heather is amazing!! She took one of our chihuahuas and worked a miracle. She trimmed his paw fur, cut his nails and put a dapper bow tie on him. We have tried to cut his nails—and he turns Cujo. Heather gets him and he comes out looking good...and he’s HAPPY!I buy food, bones, treats at Go Pet Go. Highly recommend it!

I took my English Lab to the U-Wash the other day. Dakota, an employee at the Parkville location, reviewed the use of the bath in a sweet and professional manner. I told him I wished there were treads on the metal stairs because my dog slipped and fell last time on the slick stairs. Dakota picked her up and placed her in the tub so she’d stay safe! How thoughtful! He checked on us a few times to make sure all was well. The U-Wash area is wonderful; clean and provides everything one would need. Dakota went above and beyond to make our experience a great one.

I took my two goldendoodles to get groomed here yesterday. One of them had matting and I fully expected him to be shaved, and he was which was fine. My other doodle did not have a single matt in his hair and he was still shaved, regardless of the fact that I showed her a photo of him from a couple months before that was clearly not shaved. She even verified with me how long I wanted him. Not only is he shaved, but his hair is so uneven all over his body and on his head, face, and feet. I am extremely disappointed in the service we received at Peterson Pet and really wish we would have taken them elsewhere, sadly.I gave them one star because aside from the grooming, we love going here for the you wash station and treats.

My English bulldog Blue looks amazing after he has been groomed by Heather! He get the works and it shows!! Heather is great with fur babies and treats them as if they were her own...highly recommend!!

This place has definitely gone down hill throughout the years. It started off good but after the last two years, we've made the decision to not going here anymore. We put up with it for longer than we should have because the cut/grooming style always came out good!The groomer is nice and friendly at first but If you're thinking about getting your dog groomed, expect at least one razor burn for every trip. We got the bonus package last time with six razor burns and a trip to the vet. Our dog is small and regularly groomed so it isn't like he was mangy or difficult to cut! The vet said, "I would never go there again!" When we tried to talk to the groomer she had a very unprofessional and defensive reaction.. We're done!
