Rolex watch needed maintenance-cleaning. Asked if they can work on a Rolex-yes, they have an authorized repairman who can...need to send out. This was 3/15/24....requested an estimate first....told a week to 10days....after 6 phone calls from 3/18-4/6 asking for an update-told they'd find out and call me back (did not) On 4/8 the owner(?) Called and said the cost would be $550 to clean and be ready in 7-10 days. On 4/18 he called to say his "person" could not get parts from Rolex and I'd need to ship the watch to Rolex myself. They had the watch FIVE weeks....huge waste of time. Very unprofessional. Lame excuses. Have NEVER had a jeweler tell me I had to ship my watch anywhere. Watch has been serviced many times in different cities. So much for trying to support a local business!

I met Troy at a Dog park. We talked about his shop in downtown Parkville while the dogs were having fun! His place is worth going to just for the scenery! He took me in and we designed a ring from scratch! He took his time with me and made the ring my girlfriend always wanted! They do great work! They also have jewelry at a good price. So go in there and find something that will brighten your day!

My husband wanted to do something special for our fifth anniversary last year so we brought my ring in to add a band to it. It originally came with two wedding bands but at the time of our marriage we could only afford one. Anyway, because of Troys slogan "Where imagination becomes reality" I had high hopes for adding a band that would match well with the original design. After nearly two months of waiting I was disappointed to find that the work done was not up to my expectations. Not only did the band not have matching smooth curves, the original bands have nicks and dents that weren't there before. I understand that Troy told me he couldn't match it perfectly but I honestly expected much better quality work for that price. The soldering is very obvious and tacky, the original ring got some damage to it and the worst part is that now, one year later the band he added and the original ring have started to discolor horribly. I wanted to like and support this small business but the fact of the matter is that we paid a lot more than the original second band would have cost only to have the shoddy workmanship ruin my most precious piece of jewelry. I was so devastated that I waited to write this review until the discoloration appeared because I thought that in my disappointment I might be unfair to this small business. I don't believe I am being unfair to say simply, be careful here if you are entrusting this business with your most precious piece of jewelry!Note: the original ring only discolored in the spots that Troy messed with. The service and selection were outstanding!! Troy created an amazing ring using my fiancés great-grandmother's diamond that looks like a Rose, which was her name! I also got her engagement ring which is stunning and unique and her wedding jewelry! Troy made earrings to match the necklace we purchased for her to wear on the big day! We got my wedding band as well and it's perfect!I can't say enough how much we appreciated their kindness, creativity and willingness to think outside the box to create things that are personal and meaningful. Highly recommend Parkville Jewlers. My husband wanted to upgrade my ring for our 5 years. I walked in felt very welcomed. Took me a little while to pick out “the one” and never once did I felt rushed. I had to get the ring sizes down and originally the owner said it would take maybe a week or two. The next day after we bought it, my husband received a phone call and the owner had sized it down in less than a day. I will definitely come back for other jewelry purchases. Thank you!

Must stop in! Lisa, Troy (and Ginger!) are welcoming and clearly take pride in their shop and what they’re selling. They took the time to make sure I left loving my purchases and I’ll definitely be back. I left with a Seiko watch and a gorgeous vintage ring and another watch for my mother in law.

If we could give negative numbers we would. My step daughter ordered her wedding ring and provided the stones and only needed the setting. She was promised in writing that the ring would be here and ready for the wedding. Despite multiple phone calls a week to check on the status, three days before the wedding they received a call that the ring would not be ready until 5 days after the wedding due to a casting problem.I called the jeweler and he was rude and dismissive stating it was not his fault. I asked for the name or number of the casting company and asked who the cast was under (the bride’s name or the jeweler.) He stated his account information was none of my business and he is correct. I reiterated that I did not want his information, but simply the place where the casting was being done. He gave me a website. I asked what reparations they would be making because they wanted the ring for special pictures and now they had no ring. They were provided a loaner ring but were given only three hideous options to choose from. He said he would not think about reparations until he saw the ring.I would never use this place they do not keep their word or promise and are rude and dismissive. The bride is in tears over the ugly loaner rings and her missing ring. The jeweler does not care.This is right off their website:“No jeweler takes better care of its customers than Parkville Jewelers, the Northland’s premier jeweler. The only thing that exceeds the quality of our jewelry and gifts are the great services we provide.”Not!!!!!!

Horrible customer service, a late ring after a guaranteed date of arrival at time of purchase, the man who answered the phone was incredibly combative… I don’t have enough words to describe how horrendously this jeweler treats paying customers. They claim that “The only thing that exceeds the quality of [their] jewelry and gifts are the great services [they] provide.” This couldn’t be further from the truth.

Troy cleaned and fixed a fast-running 54-years-old watch that had never been cleaned and had probably been over-wound over those many years. It keeps perfect time now and looks like it did when it was new in 1969. I could not be happier with the result.

Parkville Jewelers did what every other jeweler I went to couldn’t. They were able to fix an heirloom watch from the 1920’s by finding a rare part. They have friendly customer service and great prices to go with it. They have a really unique variety of vintage jewelry for sale as well that’s fun to look through. 10/10 would recommend for any jewelry needs.

Troy is kind and friendly as well as his staff!! I was on vacation staying next door. I went in first for a watch battery replacement and ring repair and bought 2 pieces of jewelry, but I had my eye on a beautiful ring. After checking my budget, I went back to buy it. I thought the stone was a tanzanite, which I had my heart set on. It was a sapphire. He said he had a tanzanite that fit the setting and offered to change the stones. I was flying out early the next morning and he did it that same day! Not only did he do it fast, but he didn't charge me for the changing of stones! I ended up purchasing a very nice antique travel clock as well. His store is amazing! Not only does he carry gorgeous new pieces, but unique vintage pieces as well. His Disney watch collection is outstanding! If you are in Parkville, you must go to Parkville Jewelers!

I needed a ring cleaned and resized. This ring isn't worth a lot in monetary value, but it's sentimental to me and I felt like Parkville Jewelers treated my ring with as much care as an expensive piece. The ring was ready early and overall, it was a great experience!

I have a very sentimental piece of costume jewelry, where the silver plating had been rubbed off from wear. It was breaking me out to wear it. My husband called to see if it could be covered with a stronger metal to preserve it for my birthday. He dropped it off & wasn't given any idea or warning about it. When we picked it up, my heart sunk. It's ruined. It was coated, as we asked, however, it looks terrible. It's got splotchiness & it's matte instead of polished. I haven't worn it since, it looks terrible.Two stars because yes, technically, they did exactly what they said they would. They also, in my opinion, knew the intention was to preserve and restore the piece and should have provided a recommendation for doing that if what we asked for wasn't going to work, since they are the experts.

When designing your next piece of jewelry or purchasing your first piece of jewelry, you must visit Parkville Jewelers !I lost my original wedding ring and could not afford to replace it, however I did have some other diamonds I could use to design a new ring at a minimal cost. I knew I could trust Troy and his team to take special care of my diamonds and they did!They took the time to listen to my ideas and design a stunning ring that has so much meaning to me. I live out of state as well, so once my ring was completed Troy safely shipped the ring to me with no problems. Now that ring sits securely on my left hand and is amazing!I highly recommend Parkville Jewelers for purchasing , designing or shopping for your next piece of jewelry. You will not be disappointed!

Parkville is my hometown, so I like to patronize local merchants. However, if service or quality is not up to my standards, I will look elsewhere.THIS IS MY GO-TO JEWELER!!!The owner is a true master, and a very personable guy to deal with.I will not even ask for price of service anymore.I just take in my wife’s jewelry and say “ do it”.Truly quality work from a man who obviously cares about our items as much as we do.Also, I’ve purchased several pricey custom made pieces from him. I love giving my wife something really nice that no one else in the world has. I have also purchased several lesser price quality pieces that were just plain unique.If you want a quality jeweler instead of a chain-type store, then guy is for you. You will actually have a conversation with the person working on your personally valuable items.I wish I could give 6 stars.......

I took my engagement ring in to be fixed, and the staff was fantastic from the minute I walked in the door. They took their time to explain what the best things to do to make the ring completely problem free were, and they did quality work. My 26 year old ring looks brand new again. I am not a huge jewelry person. But a few years ago I did have a favorite necklace with a clasp that broke. I took it in to Parkville Jewelers and the owner very kindly fixed it quickly at no charge. Flash forward now to a much bigger fix to my wedding ring, on which he upgraded part of the repair on his own to ensure it was the highest quality. Talk about honesty and integrity!
