Dr. Rose takes excellent care of my dog(s). She cares for each animal and it shows. Their prices are lower, too. I don't believe I have ever been to a more caring place with any of my pets, and I won't go any where else!

Our new dog, came up sick and wouldn't eat. Naturally we contacted the pet center where we adopted Cider. We contacted a vet near us and had an appointment. Three hours before our appointment the vet office called and said "since your dog is sick we couldn't see your dog. The vet office referred us to a animal hospital over an hours drive away. Luckly we found Parkville Animal Hospital and they were able to see Cider that day. We were greeted at the door and taken right in to an exam room. It struck me immediately how clean the exam room was. The Vet came in and examined Cider. My dog sensed the vet's friendliness and seemed to trust her immediately. Her gentle handling and talking to our dog comforted me and I knew we were in the right place. If you love your pet and want to provide affordable loving care then I suggest you take your pet to Parkville Animal Hospital for great care.

This was my first Vet visit since moving to Missouri a year ago. I am thankful to have found Parkville Heights Animal Hospital through Google and made an appt because of the stellar reviews. They were not wrong. The staff, technicians and Veterinarians are gentle, caring and direct. More importantly, Griffen (our furry baby) immediately trusted them and was happy to be with them, despite having to stay the afternoon for some tests! I will continue to have Parkville Heights take care of all Griffen's healthcare needs. If you need care for a beloved furry family member, I highly recommend Parkville Heights Animal Hospital!!

I love this vet office!!! Dr. Rose is THE BEST along with all of the staff and doctors. I drive an hour each way to take all 5 of our domestic animals. They have grown up with them. Treat you like family. ❤🐾🐕

Dr. Rose is excellent. She is thorough, kind, compassionate, and understanding. We've been taking our three dogs here for a couple of years now and she has helped us through routine care, surgery, dental cleanings, and follow ups for emergencies. I am so thankful to have such a great vet nearby.

Just added a new family member, wanted to make sure we picked a great caregiver for him. Look around and settled on Parkville Heights Animal Hospital. We are so happy we did, from the moment we walked in you could tell everybody was there to make sure you and your pet were welcome. They all were kind and caring to our new little one, Tucker. Everybody took the time to explain what they were doing and listened well to your concerns. The Doctor was highly knowledgeable, explained how Tuckers check-up went, next steps and offered guidance to make sure our Tucker grew up healthy and happy. Would recommend this place to anybody looking for the best for their pets.

The entire staff at Parkville Heights Animal Hospital has made it a pleasure for us to call them our Veterinarians, by providing timely, personal, and detailed attention to the care of our animals for over 12 years. They are welcoming and accommodating, with flex hours to be available when we have time to see them. Having had bulldogs, we are somewhat regular with them, and they always find a window to see us, even with little notice, or when we have narrow windows of availability.

Dr. Rose is absolutely the BESTEST! Great care & concern for my kids "Furr-Babies"! Bali loves going to see everyone there... even the office cats that don't always like him... lol! Since my cat got diagnosed with hyperthyroidism back in 2021 January, I have been working with Dr. Rose and her team in Parkville Heights Animal Hospital. My cat had been boarded there, received dental care and her annual check-up there.Usually I can expect a phone call from the vet the next day when I bring my cat in for blood test and total body function exam. For urine test, I usually get the phone call on the same day.I recall that Dr. Rose and her team have gone further than what they were supposed to do by communicating with me via emails when I was traveling abroad, which I appreciated very much. Dr. Rose also often give phone calls after hours, which works perfectly for me as it's easier for me to pick up the phone when I am not working in the office. Overall, I am very pleased with the service my cat receives there.

Dr. Barr is great for Ferret care. Most reasonably priced vets for Ferret care. Dr. Barr goes above and beyond to care for my Ferrets. I would highly recommend her for Ferret Care.

We love taking our animals here. A few years ago we brought our Border Collie mix in since she wasn’t feeling better. Parkville Heights was our third vet office and last stop. Our pup ended up having cancer, but we finally had a diagnosis. Then we had a Great Dane with rather complex large breed issues and Dr. Barr gave us great care and advice that led us to a surgery at MU’s vet school and continued treatment until her death. We trust the vets here and wouldn’t take our animals anywhere else. Our animals are treated well and with kindness and so are we. I highly recommend Parkville Heights Animal Hospital.UPDATE: We recently brought in our very ill cat and Dr. Rose was so caring and thoughtful. Her staff got us in without an appointment and got him hydrated and medicated. Thank you!!

After a few unpleasant experiences with other veterinarians, it is hard to find it within yourself to trust your fur babies with just anyone. A friend of mine recommended Parkville Heights and told me they were the best. I was going to reserve judgement but decided to give them a try.Three years later and I am so glad I listened to my friend. I’ve even recommended them to others as well. It is about a 40 minute drive from my house to their office and worth every bit of it.Dr. Robinson is so thorough and takes the time to care about your pet. We had to take our dog to an emergency vet after hours on a Friday night and she called to follow up that following Saturday. I was just so bamboozled that she took time out of her day to follow up on an appointment that didn’t even happen at their clinic. It made me feel better and reassured me about what we had been told. It made me trust that they care about their animal patients.It’s not just Dr. Robinson. The techs are so friendly and great. It’s a fantastic place and you can tell by the atmosphere that they like what they do.Thank you, Parkville Heights, for being so absolutely caring, supportive and just flat out amazing!

Always patient with me when I drop my furbaby off. I know she is in good hands when I drop her off there and in my opinion doctor Barr is one of the best doctors they could have on staff. She is extremely compassionate and knowledgeable . She helped me with my other fur baby that I had over 12 years ago when she work at a another Veterinary Clinic or Hospital I will never forget how sweet, caring, concerned and gentle she was when I had to let my baby Go because she was so ill An elderly. What awful day but it was nice to see she even seemed to love my fur baby. Dr. Barr knew as well as I did my baby held on for me for the move out to Mo. She's a wonderful doctor and I would recommend her to anybody! The other doctors there seem to be nice as well as well as there assistance and front office staff. All very friendly.
