Went there with a back pack on and the checker 😔 asked me what I needed so I said a pack of cigarettes and she rudely said they're over here and when she rang it up she asked me for my id which I didn't have with me and she wouldn't sell them to me. I guess I'm a young looking 70 yr old!!!!

Hard to find things. And I have noticed a lot of times the stickers don't match the actual prices. Watch as they scan. A lot of the items have to manually be put in by the cashier's when they are clearance. Fast forward a couple months, this morning none of the digital coupons would work. Went out to the parking lot went thru my bags checked my digitals. Ended up taking back the things that messed up. Got back nearly $30. I will go to a different store. What is the point of trying to coupon if it doesn't work. I like good deals, but this Dollar general always has problems with the digital coupons. And when things are marked down a lot of times if the cashier doesn't change the price manually it charges full price. Very disappointing. Plus boxes all over the place and shelves not stocked properly. Sale prices in front of the wrong items. Dollar general needs to seriously overhaul the park hills store. Bring in someone who knows how to run the store correctly

The Manager there is VERY knowledgeable and very HELPFUL, she tries to run a great store and after the remodel it is an even better place to find what you need. GREAT PLACE>>

There is more than one Dollar General around here and I go to about every one of them so I don't know which Dollar General you are talking about. The newer Dollar Generals are awesome they're very clean and very nice people the one at Save-A-Lot it went down it used to be really nice people now they're snobs oh my God it is crowded there is just too much unorganized totally unorganized I would give no stars to the one at the dollar store parking lot area there and five stars to the newest ones

Dollar Generals in general are kind of flaky. They can't keep good help at any of the branches that I have visited. Our local DG is very good one week and the next week it's horrible. Most employees don't care about the customers, but there are one or two very good ones. I don't think they can keep managers in any of their branches, I think because the stores are mismanaged from above. But they are a good place to shop for good value.

The store has improved tremendously since the last visit and the employee's are always kind and courteous, exceptionally clean and well maintained. Just went in to gather some items for V-day for that someone SPECIAL I've got my eyes on.

Was in store today, made mistake of going in restroom....that toilet hasn't seen cleaner or a brush in a very long time. I was disgusted. No toilet paper at all, empty roll on floor among other trash.The rest of the store-just bad. No air conditioning apparently bc it's Always hot as heck. Can barely get through the aisles. This store need a whole makeover or something....

Like shopping here but I used the card only self check and the card reader didn't work at first had to get assistance because the machine said please wait and just stayed on that for a few mins but it wasn't doing anything

Good friendly staff. Lacks things that I need often and I'd like to be able to grab a six pack or a bottle of wine for a Sunday meal here and there but they don't sell alcohol on Sundays.

has a lot of good kitchen utensils, some good toys for kids though the barbie dolls are rather cheap and break apart easily but they also have puzzles, they carry bathroom supply such as towels and wash cloths even decor for every room in the house. makeup and hair products like brushes, shampoos, ect. they have toothbrushes too.

Store is a mess!!! Some isles u can barely walk down which means I didnt get all I wanted. Then had to wait 15 min in line to check out cuz they had only one small register open and the checker was super slow n ignorant

This location blows through managers like crazy. The last manager, Tanya, was getting the store together and then suddenly she was gone. The assistant managers, Sierra and Samantha do the best they can in a store that is outdated, cluttered, and often out of stock.

Very filthy place. Was not my choice to go their . Was not able to get anything their their debit card machine was down .Which happens n not upset bout that .Need to clean better n put away merchandise

The worst dollar store in the area..I was in there 2 times today and the service was horrible..I dont want to hear they're short handed either bc there was 12 people standing in line with one cashier and another one just standing there talking and interrupting the cashier that was trying to work.the place looks like a dump..so I went to big lots and shopped instead..

I don't like this dollr store much. I go out of my way to go to Desloge. The only reason I only went to this one is this is where my husband wanted to go......you will have to go to the two different stores and judge for yourself.

Very messy compared to other DG stores I have been to. Arrangement of stock is haphazard. Boxes to be unpacked stacked in aisles prohibiting visualization of shelved stock.CS who waited on me had poor knowledge of inventory/stock on hand.

You can find some great deals here on decorations for your house. I found some really cute votive candle holders I especially liked.

Digital coupons, park hills is the only one who honors pro v 2for $8. And I have digital coupon saying 2 pro v $4.00 off.. so I was supposed to be getting 2 bottles for $4. Dollars.. I went in five dollars stores in this

They have the good stuff and you see the cheaper Stuff but it's not as good. I think they have stuff like chips sodas snacks small meals milk orange juice gift cards 😂
