Not as fun as a trip to Bucheits, but a solid farm and home option if you are close by. Pretty standard store. Nothing specific I can think of that separates it from other like stores. Their baby chick section was a little sad. Just a couple levels of stacked wire cages that were dirty as hell.Easy access from the interstate and plenty of parking. Service was fine. On the day we were here there was a farm animal rescued there with goats, ponies, and chickens.

As I walk in the door, there’s a lady in her mid-50s, lifting 50 pound bags of something into a large SUV. I get in the door there’s several associates walking around looking lost I ask for plumbing straps they point to the back of the store. No help at all. I know I could’ve found something to use for what I needed, but couldn’t get any help so I left empty-handed and probably won’t be back.

I love having the option of shopping at Orscheln. I am able to easily take care of most of my pet and outdoor needs there. My only complaint is I NEVER get discounts from my card - what does it take to get an occasional discount on regularly purchased items? Another example: yesterday I bought a chainsaw and 25 feet of electrical cable - the cable was over $300 and the chainsaw was not cheap either. I asked if I had any available rewards discount; gave my number and was told no? C'mon guys - I pay more to shop here and you can't give a discount once in awhile, even after I signed up for your rewards?

This is a smaller farm and home store compared to if you go to Washington or similar distances, but you really have a great small town atmosphere here. The employees are consistently so nice and helpful (not always the case at some bigger farm and home stores). I’m really glad this is the store near me!

first time in today it seemed like nobody had time to help me so I had to drive all the way to Loews ugh...second time in today was pretty much the same but In all fairness i think i went in expecting disappointment but did walk out with what I needed

Awesome business with LOTS of varied inventory; from tools, parts, clothing, pet supplies, gardening and much much more... they seem to always have it what we need. We especially love the per pound pricing on hardware pieces like bolts, nuts, washers, etc. which includes a BIG selection of types and sizes. It is definitely our go-to place for many of our household needs. Even our dogs love the place, because they also have some tasty per pound priced, mix and match dog treats! Always a friendly and helpful staff, as well.

This farm and home store is a great place to go to to buy things for your wildlife friends. I normally travel far to get to these locations I'm a veteran myself and I don't understand why they only do a military discount on Tuesdays when our military is on standby 24/7.

Not a fan. They have a military discount, which at first I thought was an admirable way of honoring the troops. Then, I discovered that it's only a 5% discount (no big deal there) and is only offered on Tuesdays. Really? What an inconvenience to expect them to remember that and/or to batch their purchases on the only day of the week when you decide it's worth your time to offer it. Why even have one? Seems like it's simply a way to say that you have a military discount without ever having to actually follow through with it.

Amazing selection of everything you could need for you home or farm. Greatest price on pants and camping/hunting gear. Amazingly friendly and knowledgeable staff. My family and I will definitely continue shopping here.

I try to shop on Wednesday for Seniors Day, and I also use my rewards card for extra savings. I am an amateur bird watcher and I really like their brand of suet. It is Not greasy, comes out of the package cleanly and the birds love it.

I’ve never gone into this store & have had an issue. The employees are always eager to assist you if you need to find something.Not sure why people choose to give low reviews because the store doesn’t have something you need - call the store prior to physically going there & see if they have what you need.Also, for those who are saying that the living conditions of the baby ducks, turkey, chickens, etc... are terrible - just stop. I’ve purchased many ducks from the Orscheln in Pacific, i’ve never had an issue with them. The cages are not so full that the babies can’t move - there is plenty of room for them.

I have a wooden bird feeder I bought from them with a 5 year warranty. They refuse to stand behind there products. I was told to save the box and recept and they would exchange it during the warranty period. They lied. Said I have to call the manafactuer if I wanted to exchange it. They had the nerve to tell me to have a good day. The cashier was whispering to the manager when he arrived to help me. They have lost a loyal and valuable coustermer for life I will never shop there again if this is the way they treet there coustermer

I like Orchelen's, but this particular day i asked my mother to run there and grab me 4- 5/16" hardened bolts,self tapping if possible. They sent her home with no bolts said they didn't know where I was going to find hardened bolts that small. Well I knew they had them because I was in there a week prior and bought some. Once she got home I had to stop what I was doing and run into Pacific to get the bolts. This wouldn't be bad but it's a 30 mile round trip. One which my mother had just made for nothin. So I went there and found the bolts in 2 minutes. I asked how many guys were working. There was three. So I don't know where they have found all the incompetent help. Maybe the guys just weren't interested in making a $2 sale. 60 miles for four bolts. Kind of pathetic guys.By the way this was the Orschlens in Pacific.

The staff is always helpful and friendly and they actually carry a specific dog food that my dog has to eat due to a medical condition! Otherwise I'd have to drive several miles to get it!

I have shopped at Orscheln’s 5 years now. I find what I need at a good price, employees helpful and friendly. As far as the “1 stars”, there is always someone unhappy who wants to make everyone else unhappy. Orscheln’s, I’ll be back. ;)

I like my local Orschlens, they have a great selection of things you need. Not just for farmers, but also for your house. Shop the sales and you can find some good deals.
