I wouldn't even give 1 star if that was an option. We purchased thousands of dollars from the Lake of the Ozarks store for 2 new shower kits. We relied on the plumbing department expert to handle our order correctly. BIG MISTAKE. We got 2 complete kits and ONE $924 shower door for some unknown reason - not really sure why she only ordered one door. A short time after placing the order and paying, we thought about canceling the shower bottom trays because they were a long lead time but minutes after my husband asked the employee to check if it was even possible he left a message NOT to cancel it but she still canceled it along with some special order shelves (that weren't even discussed). By the time we realized everything was so messed up we had to settle for non matching shower bottom trays and get the shelves reordered and the 2nd door that should have been ordered at the beginning but now they weren't offering any rebates. This whole transaction ended up costing us hundreds of dollars. Their opinion is that we saved money because the non matching shower bottom trays were had to settle for were less expensive but they were not what we even wanted. If everything had been done correctly at the beginning, we would have gotten what we wanted and hundreds more in rebates. And, they just simply don't care and take no responsibility for all their mistakes. If you have a choice, go to Home Depot or Lowes!!!!

Oh menards, we come here to save big money but normally buy and spend more then we had anticipated. They have a great selection of plumbing supplies. As well as electrical supplies. Their boards leave a lot to be desired. Unless you're willing to spend more. We sometimes buys screws and nails here but never tools.They sometimes have a good gardening section. And their lighting section is good.

Looks like the rebate is a scam! My opinion wire F... and deceptive advertising. Heck of a way to treat people. Third party processing is just not. Cant get rebate checks. Management says everyone gets them but if you do some research not the case.So to add...Sadly, a response was sent to me on my review to call the store. So I called, spoke to Paul, stated response was by GOOGLE and was not them....we spoke briefly and my opinion, response-was still too bad on the rebates we owe you. Cant do anything for you. The rebates in question are significant amounts and were inducements/savings that weighed on my decision to purchase from them.

I recently purchased product from this store in lake Ozark and when i went to use the product it was opened. The three items were labels wrong and were not packaged correctly. I also purchased a grill from this store and when I went to put it together it was missing parts. I also purchased a power washer last summer, the pump went out and when I went to return the item they told me I had to take it to motor hut and get a work order for the replacement part. I spent over four hours and 30$ in fuel with no reimbursement for time or fuel.

Never trust them with your orders, always double check what you buy is correct. And count evert stone if you have too. Especially on the firepits.

I love Menard's. They've got a LOT of some things, but they have a little of everything. If you can't find it anywhere else, you can find it at Menard's. Sometimes it's a little more pricey than, say, Walmart, but not nearly as high as Target, or even Lowes. And they have a HUGE outdoor section.

I had to go get some paint to paint my bedroom,right off the bat the guy was very Disrespective, act like I was a dumb woman that didn't know anything,when asking questions act like he didn't want to help me , very short with me, when i Decided what brand i wanted and color of paint ,we shop at your store alot and Never been Treated like this before .. like I didn't have the money ..

Bought $1600 worth of vinyl plank flooring. Requested it be delivered. Paid an extra $100 for delivery. Only day they could deliver was 5 days out, which was fine but told them it couldn’t be delivered before 2pm that day. I was asked how I wanted it delivered, outside, in garage, inside house…….. I told them inside garage. This was confirmed by 2separate employees. A day prior to delivery, I get a call from Menards saying it would be late morning delivery. Uh, I said no— it can’t be until after 2 pm. They found in their notes that in fact that was the arrangements. Received a call the day of delivery that it would be delivered around 10:30 am. AGAIN, I told them it couldn’t be before 2 pm. I was offered another day for delivery but would be charged another additional delivery fee. After 4 more phone calls, Bob informed me that I should have asked more questions and this was now my fault. When I tried to explain 2 employees set this up, one of them was new and didn’t know any better but it was still my fault for not asking the right questions!! WTH Menards. Have spent over $15000 since Jan and this is how I’m treated? Guess Home Depot will be happy to take my $$$

We have built our whole house with everything purchased at menards. Saved us several thousand dollars. Great team of employees and everything is easy to find. Currently out of funds to finish house but eventually we will be back to finish. Would give 10 stars if i could!!!

I bought a 14000 btu a/c unit last night for our business. Went to install after opening the box and found the rear corner of the a/c had been caved in. Upon calling the store I had the worst luck of reaching BRITTANY one of three store managers! After hearing how upset I was that they sold me a repackaged damaged item, I was offered nothing for my time or unconvince! Not even a simple sorry for this NOTHING! I was however greeted with a snotty attitude well your blaming my team which is another no no in customer service! She has zero business dealing with the public with an attitude like hers. I will now return to Home depot where I should have never left! Great job Brittany!!!

Drove over an hour one way to pick up an item that they confirmed over the phone they had in stock just prior to making the trip. Arrived with no item in stock with them saying they've been out of stock since the beginning of the week, no ability to ship it to store, and an outrageous amount to ship it to home. Manager and help desk were less than willing to accommodate their mistake.

Just used Menard's Delivery Service and was lucky enough to get James Haynes in his Cube Van. He did an excellent job and was very professional, yet super friendly. I know he loves his job and it shows!

I like this Menards and use it frequently but I'm not impressed with the deliver service. I bought boards for my deck and had them delivered. The problem is they use a 3rd party deliver service. They told me the lumber would be there at 9 a.m. so I had my contractor there waiting to work. They didn't show and I didn't hear anything from them. I called and they said they had issues with the deliver vehicle but they would be there at 1:00. The contractor decided to eat lunch and come back. Again.... a no show. I never heard anything so I called again and they changed the deliver date to the next day. It did finally show up. I had to pay for deliver, and the contractor and his crew for 4 hours waiting for our materials. I haven't had anything delivered since. Also, I wish they would change the 11% off program and just give it to you at the register. I'm a Veteran so I get 10% off most items at Lowe's and Home Depot instantly. I find myself shopping more often at those stores now.

After finishing a project, returned last pieces. Only want to offer me store credit. I am done with my project. Nothing else to buy. Paid good money and they wont return it to my card. No help finding parts during my project. Unlike home depot , where there js always people to help.

Great pricing in store and with online shopping. Inventory is extensive including last minute grocery items for one stop shopping. 11% rebates on every purchase is incredible. Staff are very friendly and the store is always clean. Love Menards!

Be weary of rebates - sent rebate off and never got anything back. It’s been almost a year. I used the online system to check on rebate - they can’t find it. I sent an email to customer service to inquire on the status and never heard back from them. If you want your rebate you should probably make copies of everything and send with tracking and a signature required so they can’t pretend they never got it. MENARDS DO BETTER!

I like this store, its so much cheaper and they have better items then other big box hardware store. They have lots of different things, like a food and soda sections, toy section all together with house and hardware items. Its kinda random but enjoyable. Removed a star because they still make you wear masks here.

What genuine customer care!We were unable to locate an online product order. Store indicated we had picked up when we did not.. I went personally to resolve. The staff took the time to review and were extremely professional.I reverified I had not received the product. I said by far the worst experience of my life at any store ever and 41 years old my issue was with a guy who claims to be the general manager Tyler is very professional I think she's better than people judges people by the way they dress the way they look he's not fit for position he's in but that's my opinion too my opinion and my issues with him he likes you accuse people with things because he thinks she might have did it we prove me didn't do it you don't get an apology I ain't answer your cooperation nothing so I will be calling Tyler's boss tomorrow for what he did me last night in that storage you don't have people that was humiliating corporation

I was just there returning metal siding with scratched you know I'm a decent guy but when you have a little attitude and you think you're like the boss or something like that or that boss mentality that's not gonna work for me I was fine back there till the guy came and told me oh nice though all that stuff on the ground it's in everybody's way which it wasn't and it was my turn to have an attitude that all the sudden I'm the bad person I'm causing all the trouble thanks

I just wanted everyone to know the level of customer service I received at Menards. In a nutshell, without speaking to me they loaded over $400 worth of merchandise into my vehicle AND handed me the receipt to the items! Problem is, I didn't purchase those items. I shared a detailed summary of what had happened with management. There lack of concern was underwhelming! I asked for them to comp the door i was actually there to pick up, which was less than half the amount of the free merchandise I could have driven off with...no respect for my time, honesty or business. Below are the images of merchandise they loaded into my vehicle, (someone else's order), the phone log of time spent on the phone, trying to do the right thing. All the while my husband who is quite ill was at home. Shame on you Menards!It seems they have been bit by the devil of greed.I have canceled all my orders and will shop where I am not ignored and treated like my business matters.There are quite a few other stores to shop at, Lowe's, Home Depot, Porters and so many othersAs the consumer we need to take a stand and shop stores where our business actually matters.

We bought a lawn mower yesterday. Got home and discovered it was missing a wheel. After about 30 minutes waiting on the phone to talk to someone we were told we had to box it back up and bring it back so it could be sent back. We ask why couldn't they just open another box and give us a wheel out of that box and send that one back, and was told that's not how they do things. I'm almost sixty years old and have had 2 major surgeries and waiting on a third but I boxed It up loaded it took it back unloaded it took it in to have a very rude associate yell at me to come to her. I was ask if I'd put gas and oil in it rudely. I said no it only has 3 wheels why would I do that and was glared at. One associate told me to push it over by other returns and the rude one yelled no not there over there. By this time I was done with being yelled at and said well this is where I'm putting it. I had almost 6 hours in driving and around 65.00 in gas to buy a lawn mower. I said I wanted compensated for some of my gas and was told by gm via assistant manager no that wasn't their concern. I'm a contractor and figured just taking it back to return I had over 30.00 in gas and close to 4 hours by the time I was done so at my rate of pay they wasted 430.00 of my time. I spend a lot of money at menards for materials but I guess Lowe's or home depot will be alright with my money. All because of something that could of been solved for 30.00 . I would of dealt with the rudeness because it's pretty standard now but to be told my time and money wasn't there consern was to much

Our washer broke for our family of 7. After hunting around local stores and handwashing our own laundry for a few days. We couldn't find anything. My husband suggested we go to check out Menards. We found the perfect washer for our needs in less than 5 minutes. Staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed walking around the clean store. I would recommend this store they have all kinds of items. I always thought it was just home repair items. Now that our washer is installed. I have walked by the laundry room and found the children peering down inside. It's so fascinating! We will be purchasing a dryer next month. (They gladly printed off the dryer info for me) Thank you Menards!!!

One of the best run Menards I've ever been to and I've been to them in 7 different states not sure how many cities. Clean and very well organized, they actually had allot of items in stock on the shelf that I'm used to never seeing.The outdoor lumber building was incredibly organized, the best I've seen in my 30 years or more of patronizing them. Staff was friendly but I didn't really need them as everything was where it was supposed to be
